This reminds me of Take on Me by A-ha. Considering that A-ha is from Norway and AOB is from Sweden, it kind of makes sense. Then again, anyone would get inspired by a hit song from the 80s.
One of the most unheralded bands from the 80's. a lot of people do not remember their music from the big hair era, good dancing music. And I listen to anything from metal to orchestral/jazz. Thanks Ace Of Base, your music is great to this day.
One of the most unheralded bands from the big hair era, which I date from. I danced to their music, No one will probably recall this band, but they are one of the best to come out of the 80's. and I listen to the modern music and the real oldies. Thanks Ace of Base. I will always remember you......
@MrRusspel It's surely tribute to the excellent 80s that you state AOB came from them, when they appeared late 1992. It's starnge you don't know that, being such a fan, the year on the album & when the singles were out rather gave it away, but having said that, the 90s-today is so bleeding shit, vacuous, embarrassing & horrific where so-called music is concerned, I'm not surprised you'd say they'd come from the only decade that truly offered up the most varied & consistently best of acts.

Actually they were active in the 90s (and now again with new singers) but you are right, Ace of Base was a wonderful band with fantastic music

if i remember, Jenny is or was in a group, released a cd in 2007 and it featured backround vocals by linn.

Yep, it was a group called "Arose", and Linn did background vocals on a track called "High Life".
