  • BOBBY!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I loved this movie!!

  • I believe the correct title for this movie should've been "DON'T GO IN THE FUCKING BASEMENT".

  • fulci is wonderfull !!!!!! è un genio !!!!!!

  • That's a whole lotta screamin' for one trailer.

  • Spring of 1984. During my days in the middle of the 7th grade in junior high,I saw this playing at the Circle theater in The Bronx.

  • Frickin Bob.

  • fulci è un GENIO !!!! il mio film preferito .....

  • @ ShotgunSteve100 Yep such a great line

  • remember to get the uncut version on blue ray. read wiki for more details - most versions are cut - since this movie is pretty damn bloody..

  • "Ann, my mom says you're not dead"...LOL. only in the 80's can they get away with that!!

  • Fulci eats Argento for breakfast!

  • This looks so awful. I love tacky 1980s horror movies because of that! SO AWFUL! LOL, you could see the strings attached to the bat! LMAO!

  • When you're six years old and you're watching this... you've got no other option but to SHIT yourself

  • lol. funny. looks like a good laugh

  • Am I right in thinking this is the one where an adult woman did the voice for the child actor?

  • Has anyone here seen House oF Wax the original? Is it any good?

  • @JIVECorp1 Well, the "original" 'House Of Wax' is actually a remake of 1933's 'Mystery Of The Wax Museum.' I recommend seeing both which should be pretty convenient seeing as how both can be found on the same DVD!

  • @Mondomeyer Thanks man, didnt know that. And I thought I knew my shit. U the man! As far as Amazon, I'm ahead of you on that one, I always go to Amazon, it's the best , although sometimes the prices can be pretty rediculous, like Body Bags (John Carpenter is still like at least 40 bucks, and Woman in Black is like 80

  • @JIVECorp1 "U the man!"

    Oh, thank you.

"... sometimes the prices can be pretty rediculous, like Body Bags (John Carpenter is still like at least 40 bucks..."

...And the DVD for 'Body Bags' is an edited version. What a knock-off!

  • Romero "was" great at making allegorical based genre films, where Fulci "was"(r.i.p.) great at making genre films built around mood and atmosphere......I prefer the latter :-) social and political messages in film I've always taken with a grain of salt, always came off as a bit shallow and self-serving to the director's own elitist agenda.

  • I used to get this one confused with the horror movie with a similar title that has Vincent Price. WTF was that one called. They even made a remake of it in 2000

  • @JIVECorp1 house of wax ??

  • @tonymontana1974 No I think it was The House on Haunted Hill. Vincent Price was the best. Hey Tony have you ever seen Tourist Trap? If you liked House of Wax, then u would like that one

  • @JIVECorp1 Hey bro, by the way I've never seen the original House of Wax, but I really want to. I only saw the remake with the movie cover that looks like Paris Hilton with jizz all over her face.

  • @JIVECorp1 Ill have a look out for tourist trap thanks. I have a facebook page called "the good horror guide" it has a lot of reviews of good and bad horror movies and loads of links to working films of that genre you might like it.

  • @tonymontana1974 Great, I'll check it out. I love horror review websites. My favorite two are Arrow in the Head, and Upcominghorrormovies

  • @JIVECorp1 The House On Haunted Hill?

  • @Mondomeyer Yes my friend I believe it was that one. I think it's the title of both that get me confused.

That being said, I really want to buy this one

  • @JIVECorp1 Try Amazon.

  • Damn I really want to check this movie out. It's coming out on October 24th on special edition release. Also want Body Bags, and The Woman in Black (original). They are at crazy prices right now on Amazon

  • The special effects and acting are riduculous but DAMN when they want to give you gore and shock they give it to you on a silver platter!

  • This film was terrible. The acting was sooooo bad. I love horror but this was too bad to be true I thought.

  • Another stupid and silly try for the stupid and silly director LUCIO FULICI to reach the legendary GEORGE ROMERO which impossible to be reached specially in zombie movies

  • @RealPinkDreams You can hardly call george romero classic he only did 3 good films (the 3 zombie films) where fulchi has dozens of good films. Fulchi is a aquired taste if you like bloody over the top european horror films that are a bit toungue in cheek youl like him.

  • @tonymontana1974 Its about the quality not quantity and the romero's zombie type is based on realistic stories ( which is more scary ) not on Superstitions or supernatural stories which is very silly not scary , did u got the point now ?

  • @RealPinkDreams You have no real point cos your a 13 year old child who watches shit like "dawn of the dead" and thinks the remake is betetr than the original away and boil your head son your heads full of magic lad.

  • @tonymontana1974 I just replied on your question or your comment but i didnt hurt you so Why r u insulting me for ?????

  • @RealPinkDreams Relax stumpy im only messing with you.

  • @tonymontana1974 Look Mr ( who the hell ever u r ) stop your silly messing and dont deal with me as a child cause im not a child and just replay on the comment dont run away from the same subject again . Have a nice evening

  • @RealPinkDreams Relax kid.

  • @tonymontana1974 if you said kid again or you considered me as a child i'll not gonna replay on yu got that ?

  • @RealPinkDreams Dont get your panties in a twist KID.

  • @RealPinkDreams I like horror movies, but I think SOME of George Romero's zombie movies suck.

  • @SuRihtanil MOST do. He accidentally made Night and Dawn awesome.

  • Drat. The mannequin that bite it at :06 had a promising future in fashion.

  • Personal favourite of mine. The atmosphere is fantastic!

  • The only thing better than this movie is Mortician's album of the same name.

  • lol that boy screams like a girl

  • is dat boy chucky

  • my favourite horror by ever with two children innocents»

  • i got Freudstein's face tattooed on my right arm as a cover-up about half a year ago. i gave the artist the dvd case so he could draw the face on the cover and he made it look really crazy. my fav tattoo :]

  • olivertothescott i agree, and they should not have a picture of dr freudstien on the dvd cover either!!

  • th 4397 make sure someone is sat with you...........

  • I am glad you brought up the appearance of zombies; I agree completely. Some zombie movies that might have been decent were ruined with unrealistic undead. I hate it when they do little more than apply makeup for a pale look, but I truly admire the filmmaker who goes out of his way to create realism.IMHO the most overlooked zombie flick might be Burial Ground: Nights of Terror (1981) which contains some (not all) of the most realistic walking dead (including live maggots). Worth a look!

  • freud stein LOL what a composed lastname

  • rusheena. you should see what happens to her in "the beyond".

  • Wow, that little girl, in the beginning grew up really fast as soon as she hit the ground. I wonder how old I'd turn if I fell on the floor, w/out the knife sticking out of my mouth, lol.

  • Wow. This movie kind of looks scary as shit.

  • @Slaytounge certain parts of it are quite shocking. it starts out like an average eighties italian horror film that has really cheesy dialogue but when it gets into it with the story of Freudstein it gets crazy...especially the end. definitely a must-see for a true horror fan.

  • mary freudstein 1860-1915

  • check out the cellar scenes where lucy is being attacked by the bat, norman looks like hes not bothered!!!!

  • dont go in there bob

  • angel of angiush. i did , it was very quiet.....

  • Heads will roll

  • I remember watching this and NOTHING at all making sense

  • lol at :41 same scream :D

  • I wonder if anyone has EVER LIVED in a house that was ACTUALLY (RIGHT) NEXT TO A CEMETARY?

  • Oh yes!!! And it's really scary!!!!!

  • Ah! One of the new wave 80's gore fests. The plot would be interesting, if it wasn't just drowned in close ups and slit throats and cheesy unending scream camera zooms. I can't tell if this movie is more sick, or just plain stupid. Sorry horror fans, I don't mean to insult your taste in movies, but when I see crap, I'm going to call it.

  • If you like gory H.P. lovecraft inspired horror you´ll probably enjoy this :) Shouldn´t be too hard to find this on DVD. Is one of the better known Lucio Fulci movies.

  • im a horror movies super fan, ive never seen this one and i hope i can get it soon, seems interesting :D

  • Just watched this movie. I have to say I like some of fulci's work but this.......was crap. Overrated crap

  • @hymanpena This is overrated?......who the fuck talks about these movies anymore dude? This is a cult classic from a cult director.

  • @Boognish89 When it comes to horror geeks talking to other horror geeks, this movie gets brought up a lot. I just feel it wasn't his best. Nothing like the Beyond

  • @hymanpena well usually movies with a cult status aren't overrated, hence the word cult

  • one of my Fulccis fav ones for sure...

  • WOW, que recuerdos!

  • OK, so, within the first 8 seconds that's already too much...

  • shit, horror really went down hill when it became a huge industry in the US during the 80s. this stuff is great. bizarre, ethereal, supernatural shit that american film doesnt have the guts to cover well. this stuff and spaghetti westerns are probably some of the best movies ever made.

  • Wow being in the 30'smyself i have seen a lot of movies from the 80's and this has to be the most horrific stuff i have seen im a Romero fan never heard of Mr.Fucli but i can say that this is amazing stuff.

  • psycho flim

  • This was the SCARIEST movie I ever seen in my whole 30 (cough-cough) years!

  • I'm scared dude.

  • I wish we could have good horror again like the stuff Fulci did.

  • my cousins shown me this when i was 6, im now 17, i have the slightest feeling it may be the reason for my sick sense of humour, lol

  • This is REAL HORROR!! Non of that remake shit or teen preppy horror past the 90s shit!! This is the real deal!!

  • @killforfiend No Kidding, this film still throws a solid punch, while a majority today bearly give you a slap.

  • @killforfiend i think i love you. ahhhh :]

  • never remake this movie i saw it and i give it a 3 star

  • OMG!!!!i only watched the first scene of the trailer and it was soo scary!!!OMG!!!!!!!!

  • I want all his movies!

  • if you love LUCIO FULCI - CHECK MY PAGE OUT!!!!

  • awesome, the trailer ends with Castlevania music!

  • I like how the soundtrack screams, "I got a Casio for Christmas!"

  • check out my music video edit of this its great it features all the death scenes mixed up with the theme tune - plz comment ;P

  • wierd. usually the trailers don't show the really gorey scenes. but this movie was so creepy :S i saw it when i was 5 and it gave me nightmares :S

  • I love the trailer and have the movie it's great thanks for the upload

  • I love Lucios films like ''The Beyond'' and ''City Of The Living Dead'' I cant wait till it comes in the mail

  • a classic! fulci is the master!

  • If you like the trailer, watch the movie for fr33 at Free Movie Zone . n e t

  • This Movie Was Very Bizarre & Scary...The Music , The Crazy Murders & The Weird Ending...Lucio Fulci Is A Genious !!!....I Love Italian Horror Films ,They Are Very Serious...

  • I like Fulci despite what people say.

  • Lol, in older movie trailers they show the title several times, today you're lucky if they show it at all sometimes.

  • I love this movie. I watched it on holloween along with The night Evelyn came out of the grave.

  • yea you wish. baller status movie. bitches get wet when they think about me putting my knife threw their heads...literary i kill them

  • why would you say that, when you know a group of Fulci fans like myself will talk negative towards you. You must be very bored to watch a trailer of a movie you don't enjoy. I have pity on you

  • Does anyone know of another 70's horror movie where some teenagers are staying in some big house near a graveyard and a pumpkin patch and this guy with a machette kills them all? I remember it was on A&E I think once. One guy gets his armed cut off as he tries to climb out of a tomb and his hands move after they are cut off. Also some girl gets pulled up by the others through stairs as half of her body gets sliced up. Anyone know the name of what im talking about? Please help!

  • Hi this is Silvia Collatina, I know that the voice of Bob in English is irritating because it has been doubled by a girl and unfortunately also in the Italian version it is the same. That's because at the time girls doubled little boys (also in the cartoons). Luckily nowdays the voice of kids stays the same. I know that HbtC and other Fulci's movies are difficult to understand and this is because they have a psychological meaning you have to interpret, also Hbtc leaves a lot to your imagination

  • Holy macaroni, it´s the girl from "House By The Cemetery". First of all thank you for commenting on my video and your explanation about Bob´s girly voice^^ I´m sure alot of people didn´t know this.

Do you remember shooting this movie? You were very young back then i believe. Did Fulci allow you on set for the horror scenes?

Also saw you in Fulci´s "Murderock" and Martino´s "Il fiume del grande caimano". Love seeing you in all these great Italian cult movies :-) Do you still act nowadays?

  • Hi there, it's a pleasure for me that you put this video. I remember everything of HbtC. Next year there will be a special reunion for the anniversary... 30 years have passed now. All we actors of the movie should gather in the USA... I do not act unfortunately, in Italy if you are not an easy girl you do not go anyway... I am not that kind of course. I love horror movies since young and who knows in the future If I'd be given another chance ;)

  • @ghotika72 What a beautiful little girl you were! I am going to watch the Fulci movies, with the lights on!

  • @ghotika72 is that really you?

  • @ghotika72 I always thought that Bob's voice made the movie have a little bit of comic relief, there's always something cheesy (in a good way) like that in Italian movies. That's why they're some of the best movies, by the best directors. This is one of my favorite Fulci movies. City of the Living Dead and The Beyond are also very good. Fulci Lives

  • @ghotika72 OMG I CAN'T BELEIVE IT'S YOU!!!

  • Lucio Fulci IS GOD OF GORE

  • this film so so incredibly bad. i was drunk when i saw it and still thought it was one of the worst films ive ever seen. its sooo bad its funny. and that little boy was sooooo annoying xD

  • rhys you make a better one then...

  • Freudstein is a hell of a lot scarier than Jason.

Fulci should have made a movie about him.

Is the kids voice as annoying in Italian as it is in English? That was the only thing that bothered me in this movie.

  • Lucio Fulci

  • holy crap i need to see this one. lucio FOREVER

  • no bob, you should have listened to what i said

  • The most unintentionally hilarious film ever... Its so bad its brilliant!. And bob is the most irritating little fucker i've ever seen. His voice just drives me fuckin' insane!!

  • LOL!!!

  • AHAHAHAHAHA! : D

  • just bought this movie for £1!! new!! will watch soon....i think!

  • Its on film4 tonight lol

  • I know it for sure. it was 1981...

    Mae Freudstein

  • formidable film!!!

  • Hahahahahahahaha that knife through the girl's head made me spit beer on my wall.

  • Rofl

  • @DJProjexion: Lol!

  • its an amazing horror chiller beyond zombie 2 are great as well must see .

  • its a shame the movie doesnt live up to this quite amazing trailer. i have to say the music is great in this film.

  • I agree. It wasn't very suspenseful, there were scenes that made no sense in the context of the film and the ending was 'meh.'

  • "there were scenes that made no sense in the context of the film"

armfart890 have you ever seen a Lucio Fulci film? Fulci films aren't about understanding, his films need to be experience.

That's why it sucks that they are doing a Suspiria remake, this italians directors (Argento, Fulci etc) are all about style and atmosphere, really terrifying stuff and beautiful at the same time.

  • Why yes I have, hence my comment. I've seen a few as a matter of fact.

  • Please tell me that is a joke! They can't remake Suspiria! I love that movie.

  • I agree 100%. But i have to say that Fulci's movies were more substantial and more intellectually stimulating than Argento's. The enigmatic ending in House by the Cemetery exemplifies this.

  • Waaaaaaaaaaatch this film!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably the best horror film I've seen by Fulci.

  • 0:41 wow, cool knife scenes there !

  • I have this movie on DVD and this movie seems to be from 1985.

  • awsome knife scene!

  • Wow looks like a Real Academy Award winner !!!

  • Hi, I'm looking for a movie that starts by showing a house outside and then a dead dog is thrown into a wall with its eyes ripped out, I think theres a cemetery outside, dunno... any ideas?

  • do have any idea what year it was made or are you just joking around.

  • Not joking! But I saw it when I was little. I'm guessing it's from the early 80s... It's kinda like horror-massacre.

  • I'm not sure but I think I may have seen something similar to that in a movie called The Secret Window.

  • Oh yeah, but i'm talking about an old movie and this happens right at the beginning. Thanks though.

  • do you remeber what year it was made or the names of the actors.

  • Nope. I saw it a couple times when I was little and back then it did scare me. It's old though. Definitely not even from the 90s. Maybe late 70s or the 80s.

  • Actually it starts very similar to Ghosthouse (1988), but with a mutilated dog...

  • yeah!

  • I just bought this and I will watch it on all hollows eve.

  • 0:05 fucking owned! love it!

  • Bad thing about this old trailers is fact that we can see all important parts of the movie . . .

    And sickest scenes too . . .

  • Superb horror

  • Not his best, but typical Italian horror...totaly surreal, crazy kills, and unexplained plot holes and scenes that defy all sense of physics.

But, killer soundtrack and hey man, it's Fulci.l

  • @pegleg747 Obviously a devoted Italian movie buff, sweet.

  • I'm into Italian horror like everyone else here (Fulci, Argento, etc.). I've never seen this and it gets good reviews, but this trailer makes me kinda skeptical. Especially the little kid who keeps screaming like a little girl. Is this movie any good?

  • This movie is not as good as Fulci's other well known masterpieces, i.e. "The Beyond" and "Zombie", but if you are a fan of Fulci it is worth a watch. The theme music is good, the plot interesting but ridicously convoluted and with lost of blood and gore. The little girlie kid is so annoying, you hope that he gets killed, more and more as the movie goes on.. lol
