  • Sorry officer, I didn't see your lights

  • Those mirror spots have got to go. They're not mounted to the doors on current patrol cars so they don't move when you open the door.

  • They need to redo the look of this car its really ugly. id be pissed if my dept. bought the E7. i really like all the features and specs to it (except the touchscreen, and voice command) but the whole look of the car has got to go. this car looks worse then what the other companys are putting out now.

  • @Icandrum2 it's beast!!!!! it says don't fuk with me

  • -encountered some problems with the crown vic like not enough room, and being uncomfortable to sit in all day, hard to reach your gun because it's too cramped up in the crown vic with your gear on. Plus safety issues like people not being able to see your car stopped on the highway. That's what 360 degree lightning was designed for. So its safety issues like that for example why they sad the crown vic is unsafe

  • I hope you realize that it was a police officer who worked the streets that founded this company? And it was designed to provide the highest amount of officer protection and everything this car has is what a police officer should have. The crown vic is a good car but its no longer adequate for the job of a police officer times are changing and it is also no longer being produced anymore anyway. Get some facts first son before posting some bullshit. This car was designed by a cop so he obviously

  • If you check out the Carbon Motors website, anybody who knows their stuff about cars will see how full of shit this company is. They speak of existing LE vehicles as being unsafe passenger vehicles, never intended for the rigors of police work - obviously referring to the P71 Crown Victoria, one of the safest domestic cars on the road, and very specialized for police work to boot. The unproven E7 looks like a gay Suzuki, and I hope Carbon Motors fails miserably. Piece of shit liars.

  • Shouldn't have any problems getting away from this ugly piece of shit in a Lada...

  • LIKE THE ONE ON NFS

  • But will it blend?

  • those side lights above the doors should have an over ride so that when the door is open they turn off... cause u get out of that car and draw your sidearm after a pursuit or whatever your getting blinded by it!

  • does anyone else see the words "akon - i wanna lo.." at 2:19

  • @jayazn10 Yea! I see it.

  • Awesome, I would love to have one just for the looks, I don't care...they can give me amber lights all around, I'd still be tickled to drive it. And for those who did vote Like or Dislike, 7 people are afraid of the new police car because they know they will be hauled away in one of these in the near future

  • It's cool but does it have an IPod connection?

  • That is beautiful!

  • I really like the seat belts in the back for the prisoners. It's our police to use seatbelts on prisoners now, but I REFUSE to reach around a prisoner to put one on. I wish I would have invented that.

  • It will all boil down to a Chevy or a Ford. Like the suicide doors.

  • 45,000 Dollars? I'm gonna get one myself!

  • @andrew77074 Buddy please, the carbon motors is selling for $150,000 thats for everything installed and another thing

if you look at the CVPI (Crown Victoria Police Interceptor) for thos who are slow

the total price for everything installed

is around $120,000 for one CVPI and that includes the light bar the push bar all the interior accesories like the siren and the light box

all the accesories in the trunk and the devider between the driver and subject in the back

  • @westvanpolice I see logic isn't one of your strengths (not by a long shot). NO police force in this nation could afford a police car near the $100'000 mark let alone purchase 75'000 every year. $45'000 is the right number and in some case it's even LOWER. Andrew77074 was completely right when he stated that people like you are stupid because stupid people can't thing in logical ways how my and other posts already proofed -.- buddy please

  • @RealSkyDiver2 dont even talk ok

i am a deputy sherrif and our department just pree ordered 12 of thies bad boys and might i tell you $99'464 FOR ONE so shut the fuck up and ppl like me are stupid, sure faggot

u and ur butbuddy can beleve what every yall want have a nice live cuntnuggets

  • @westvanpolice Deputy Sheriff? If you're so authoritive, why do you stoop so low to call them a "Faggot"? Never have I seen a police officer with such low dignity and respect for himself or others, to an extent to curse, use abbreviation such as "ppl" and, You can't spell to save your life; "Sherrif"? "pree"? "Thies"? butbuddy"?

You are a phoney, and you think you can get respect by pretending to be a "Deputy Sherrif". What's your name and Badge Number then? Oh wait, you're not a police officer.

  • WOW!! This cop car comes with a stereo in case a cop is bored.

  • beautiful car.

  • Police deserve this, just look around. As our crime rates are proven to be going down, incarceration numbers are going up. And just look at all the friendly police brutality, misconduct, corruption, and CRIMINAL activity going on in the police force, which by the way which is also on the rise. Give two big thumbs up to our wonderful police force, helping to incriminate more people to win the state money from the feds and fines. Police just need more power! GIVE THEM MORE!

  • @EthanJM well said. the police deserve the best to protect and serve the public from criminals.

  • its soo ugly in the front! the car has a nice ass though

  • Kinda worries me that they can just play music on those computers

  • What are the bottons above and around the joystick on the middle console for? I can't find a good enough picture to see what functions they operate.

  • @serendib5415 It is to my understanding that the joystick is for the spotlights (integrated into the side mirrors)

  • I hate it

  • people would whant to go o jail to rid with doors like that

  • i think the crown victoria's have a more intimidating look to them that makes you go "Oh, shit how fast am i going? Please dont pull me over!". this makes you think "Hey look. isn't that from star wars?"

I believe they should put all the features in this like the voice command, and built in computer and built in lights to a crown victoria.

  • @BeholdthePariah I agree, if ford would just improve the car a bit, keep the V8, but add a V6, and maybe a 5.4 V8 option, keep the rwd and body-on frame. maybe freashin up the styling, and leave it be. None of this front wheel drive taurus crap.

  • @DodgeMan360 yes, there may be the argument that the styleing of the car may not effect anything. but in my opinion, it does. police need to look professional while on the job, and not something to take lightly. i think too many police departments do not like the front wheel drive thing that they may force ford to re-design their car. for now i think the E7 and the chargers are the best for police, other than the crown victoria.

  • is a cool car very nice

  • But Officer, I swear I didn't see you in the rearview mirror! (oh ya... let's you try that)

  • I like how they're listening to Akon LOL

  • Too bright.. That'll piss me off as a driver.

  • Diesel is dirty. Get an electric car.

  • @tripjet999 carbon-particulate filter !!!!

  • And it'll make a great Autobot should hasbro be interested!

  • Superior diesel engine from BMW. That alone is reason enough to buy it

  • haha..

they will buy and hear something like this:

"sorry officers, but just saw your new car and thought to serve you a little fun with that pursuit..."

ive heared the engines were build by BMW. would be funny to see a german police version of this car one day.. . or an ADAC (car repair service) version wih yellow flashlights. ;)

  • i think this is great a car speciale made for the police

  • they should make a civilian version

  • if not i will found a new country. ;)

  • Where do I get an application form for the US police? :-)

  • delicious!

  • These are going to trade the crown victoria, it's not about the price, there is no choice and I already read that a long time ago.

  • I hope I'm one of the first to drive one when i join the CHP

  • Armandox... I don't think Calif. can afford one of these.

  • There's no set price tag on these yet. According to the website, they'll be priced around what it costs to get, for example, a new Crown Victoria retrofitted with equipment.

  • The E7 is going to be released for about 40k estimated, possibly just a bit lower. The standard outfiited police car hits the street for 34k (thats an average that includes Impala, Charger, and Crown Vic) and as far as the lights go, they will have the option to use day/night modes in which red (primary) will be used during the day (with a few blue) and blue (primary) at night (with secondary red). That option hadn't been included on the proto-type E7 due to rushing it to the floor.

  • trop de la bombe, je fouterais le feu a lautoroute avec cette caisse pour degager les papi ^^

  • The price hasn't been set for this car yet, also if you took a regular patrol car and loaded it with the optional equipment that you can get for this car it would probably cost $100,000 also. For example a computer controlled radiation detector. Honestly what departments will need that, so agencies can save money on this car with its long life span too.

  • Yea, it looks cool indoors, and @ night, but I've seen this car in the daylight and the lights are way too weak, nowhere bright enough. I hope they improve it before production. 2011 should be an interesting year for police cars: with this, the Ford Taurus turbo, and the Chevy Caprice making a comeback with a 400hp v8. My money's on the Caprice.

  • thats a lot of lights! i hope to drive this wen i join lapd

  • Looks like a good car but I wonder how it handles. Also the price is a bit much.

  • the price hasnt even been set yet, but it is estimated to be similar to a crown victoria fitted with police accessories.

  • It looks nice. I like the reverse open doors on a thicker hinge, and it allows for a better dynamic, but im not sold on that touch screen. Its hard enough to do everything you need to do that way it is, and to have to shift up and forward to touch it may be an issue. That being said I have yet to sit in one so it may be pretty reasonable in reach. I have also read that the redesigned the seats, and seat belts to allow you to have access to your duty weapon when seated and buckled!

  • Now that is a nice Police car, very imposing yet very cool.

  • Looks kinda gay

  • where are you all getting your numbers from???

The price is going to be around 45,000 outfitted. It has a 3 liter turbo diesel, it should get around 250-300,000 miles before needs to be recycled. Carbon motors will then buy is back to recycle it for parts. Its a win-win situation.

  • @bandbuggy2 Whoa, $45,000? Are you sure? Police Tahoe's are $55,000+. That's not a bad deal at all.

  • @bandbuggy2 45,000 is the base price, 100,000 is going to be the price for one FULLY loaded. of course fleet discounts will be applied for departments. The main issue besides cost is going to be maintence. A Ford, GM, or Hemi V-8 is going to be a lot cheaper to fix vs. a 3 liter BMW Diesel, plus with current gas prices and Diesel fuel higher then gas. this thing is a pig and a fleet of these will eat through a department's operating budget in a short time.

  • @bandbuggy2 the state bid on this car for cops is near 22,000 not 45,000....idk where you get your numbers from but they are wrong. it wont matter anyways because most law enforcement agencies take the car with the lowest state bid, hince why they are driving impalas and crown vic's....

  • @bandbuggy2 You are correct. 40 to 45 k, thise guy is a retard.

  • @bandbuggy2 i love the look of the car, but there is a problem i have noticed with this video, Ive noticed 3 problems with the vehicle...

1- in California it is required for all emergency vehicles to have at least 1 solid red forward facing red light

2- the side spot lights mounted in the mirrors. with the crown vics it is nice since the spots are in the pillar, you open the door and the spots stay lit where you pointed them, these mirrors and spots move with the door taking the spot off the

  • @2007tacoma I think they can change the patterns on there at the discretion of the the buyer, and if I'm not mistaken, the spot lights on the mirrors do move electronically. I don't like that tho. I love my spot lights.

  • @bandbuggy2 vehicle.

3- i noticed i believe, could be wrong, doesn't look like there is any directional traffic lights in the back. (directional chaser lights)

don't get me wrong, im not bagging on this car, ide love to see this car on patrol, ide love to have it, ide love to patrol in it, it looks like a nice car, im just pointing out what ive seen wrong so far with it

  • zomg the seizures :P

  • You fucking fool

  • how could you be so damn dumb

  • I'm not dumb. emergency lights give me seizures.

  • I hope you have them all the time.

  • I do, and you're a real jerk for hoping that. They really suck.

I hope you get one someday, or become good friends with someone who has them.

    Have a heart.

  • May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your crotch !

    Allah Akbar !!!!!

  • "Sorry sir i didnt see you in my mirror" XD

  • These cars make the NZ and aussie police cars look like shit. Out of it design!!

  • yah but most departments a going to want to see cost effectiveness before ditching there crown vics

  • damn, i would sure hate to see that thing in my rear view mirror!

  • that car is sick

  • NO this car is about 90,000 base and upto 120,000 fully loaded and it is still cheaper then a Ford vic after all the police upgrades.

  • i totally agree with you but there is still one thing think about all the police and sheriff departments who thing car thats probably over 2000 200 times 90,000 thats alot of money i hope it will be worth it

  • i highly doubt that a loaded vic would cost more then $26,000,,,,

  • r u crazy dude..a charger costs 16000 fully equipped after rebates..it will be around 18000-24000..if more than that agencies wont buy it..

  • the car passes me up with the lights on and im blind, a little too much LEDs

  • ILEA Plainfield?

  • Evenmore A Better Deal...

    Your wife drives it!!

    H A ha haha HA!

and takes it home for you to Look @

    Every Day!

    Andy is Back!

  • The Price is going to be around 85,000 bucks... which consided what it is and what it does... that is a good deal!

  • anyone who thinks this is a100000$ vehicle is stupid the website says that it is Comparable to Retail Passenger Car Outfitted with Law Enforcement Equipment.

  • @Andrew77074 Yeah i think around 50000 which is very comprable

  • @Andrew77074 Take a look at the site and see all the extras that can be outfitted to the vehicle. The cheapest thing there is $250 Microsoft Office and a GPS system.. Everything else is multi-thousand modifications.

  • To rig a Crown Vic Squad Car is like $50-$75,000. And thats with all the rigging, they really are a hassle, this is organized much better.

  • This is coming out about the same time the Crown Vic is being discountinued. I've seen this car in daylight and the leds are nowhere bright enough. It looks great @ night and indoors, but it's a totally different story in the daylight. They have some time before production so I hope they make some upgrades before then.

  • finally! a vehicle made for Police.

  • It costs nowhere near $100,000. That price is completely off.

  • $100,000 Zimbabwe dollars maybe...

  • The State Police!

    Freak on!

  • thats exactly what we need 100 thousand dollar cop cars now. as if this economy isn't already fucked.

  • I dont get this, if they make the car and police buy it it would help the economy...

  • @Cooper02

goddamn you and your consumerist mentality

  • Sweetness.

  • There is no way this car would cost $100,000

  • positive, more lawbreakers paying a price for their decisions since the car autoscans license plates and has other great technology. better fuel economy will help is several areas.

negative, but unavoidable, more people being arrested and taxpayers money being spent to house inmates.

so where is the balance? the fact that people will continue to break laws, but at least with the newer technology we can get them off the streets for a while and only pray they learn that their is a better way...

  • yur stoopid

  • Connersville Indiana... New Home of Carbon Motors!!! Congratulations Connersville! :)

  • OMG i was looking at the configure section on the website and I found out these cars are gonna have FLIR (forward Looking InfraRed)! shit this is epic!

  • sure hope we get these in Canada, while at a party we'll all be like "oh S*** ITS THE COPS!" and then we see the car, "DUDE, IM GETTIN BUSTED IN THAT THING!"

  • Excellent. These need to come out sooner than 2012.

    Hi-tech.

  • and they can actually catch the bad guys ;P

  • and true to the typical USA mentality, its bigger, better, and you cant use the excuse "i didnt see it".

  • the police will dominate the streets when truckloads of these cars will be shipped to every city

  • This sure is a huge improvement over anythign out now. The computer system is awesome...especially the license plate recognition system. The LEDS are awesome too look at too. I dig the bumpers too. great for pushing cars off the road.

    Hope they sell HUGE!

  • wtf?

  • Nah, we just leave that to the anarchists.

Oh wait. They are the hungry and poor.

  • That is an awesome looking car....can't wait to see it on the road!

  • i can finaly try out my EMPG on one of these LOL notin will work !

  • ACURA design COPY :(

  • Looks like a mix of the new Acura and a 300 maybe?

  • are the spotlights in the side mirrors!?!?! NICE!

  • cool car

  • There is no way this car will sell for under 50K.... My thought is the company is trying to align themselves in a manner that will have potential buyers qualify for a government handout. In other words, the agencies who buy this car will have the cost subsidised by the tax payers... If this is the case I say go for the Charger. Enough with government handouts. If your community wants it then your community needs to pay the delta - NOT ME

  • Any word on the engine supplier?

  • you think it is a waste of money because it looks like a christmas tree?

  • The company has announced already the car will sell between $50-60,000. Not only is the car better because the car was designed for this specific purpose it is also built to have a much longer service life. While cars like the Crown Victoria are only built for a service life of a little over 100,000 the E7 is built to remain in service for over 200,000 - more than twice what the other cars go for and under twice the cost.

This car will be popular with law enforcement agencies.

  • PAHLEEZE! I'm still in my 2000 Crown Vi with 160,000 miles on it. It MIGHT be designed to go over 200,000mi, but NO ONE will know until it's mass produced, which probably won't happen.

  • I aggree, I was in my Crown Vic for well over the 100,000 miles on it. Its only going to get worse as the counties and states are less willing to spend money...I don't see this happening anytime soon..

  • Hopefully the E7 won't get any orders.

  • If it does happen, it won't be real soon. They don't plan on producing until 2012, for now they are just trying to get agencies on the waiting list.

  • I sure hope they don't order it

  • You know, the new Ford Interceptor concept looks sexy.

  • all it is is the regular crown vic they have now, but with the corner turn signals painted over and made flush with the fender... the taillights are the same as well as everything else.

  • The E7 sucks though. Small, ugly, and just doesn't look right.

  • with a name like FordCop rofl shut up!

  • I don't even like my username lol. I wish I could change it. It sucks.

  • The car looks great and while I'm sure it will have many useful features, anyone who thinks this car will cost under a $100K+ is living in a dream world. Çarbon is a "for-profit" corporation, looking out for themselves.

What about parts? Is this a Ford, Dodge or Chevy engine? Or is the engine completely manufactured by Carbon, specialty parts only available through them? Driving up the cost further.

If this is just some over-priced gadget, it will be a waste of taxpayer money.

  • This car will not be sold for 55,000. No police agency in the world would buy it. Most police cars come out to around 22,000-25,000 plus around 3,000-4,000 for lights and sirens plus misc. equipment. This vehicle will be priced to compete with the average car police car. I would say it would start at 25-27,000. I read a article on the company's plan. The CEO is a retired officer who got the attention of an individual who use to work for one of the "Big Three".

  • $25-27K?

Don't be foolish, there is *no way* they could sell that car so cheap. Especially considering this car is custome built and potential buyers is limited.

Limted production cars are always expensive (even without expensive gadetry), since they don't have the mass production capability to lower cost.

The fact the guy is retired police officer, means absolutely nothing. The corporation still has to pay people to manufacture it and turn a profit for shareholders.

  • I know they wont. The company has to compete with the other police cars. The company will go out of business if they sell it at any price above 40,000. I have read plenty of police magazines with articles on the car. They all say the same thing 30K is the goal. In reality there is nothing special about this car other than it specifically targeting law enforcement. Working at a police department I can tell you the Dodge Chargers we have are excellent cars. I agree with you but it has to happen.

  • I agree the police should have a vehicle specifically designed for thier work load, it would make for better policing. Much like the Fire Deptartment having thier own vehicles.

30K may be thier goal, but it is not a realistic by any means.

    i do hope the future

  • I do hope the future brings the police the tools they need and if nothing else, I hope the idea of this car motivates major auto-manufactures into building a car that is police specific.

  • 51,000 dollars, not 100,000.

  • i talked to the ceo. more like 55,000.00

  • Which is ridiculously expensive compared to $22350 - $28555 for an Impala police package. In these times the last thing we need to be spending tax dollars on are police cars with luxury car price tags. They need to develop a more economical version.

  • No no this is worth every penny. It has all the equipment and safety police need. If you do a search it will show you what this thing can do and also is more efficient.

  • It's about time there is finally a production car with the officer in mind. Not just a standard sedan crammed with after market gear. Police cars are way to crowded as it is. This would be a nice change.

  • They'll definitely cut the price when production starts, 'cause there's no department of any kind out there that would actually spend 100K on ONE car.

  • maybe one in Europe lol

  • Just read the article in Design Part Magazine on this car. Great concept Carbon Motors. Too bad Ford or Chevy could'nt come up with their own version but then not surprised. Can't wait to get pulled over by one of these.

  • The goverment won't pay for it until they lower the 100,000 dollar price.

  • cut that figure in half

  • Then cut it in half AGAIN and you have the msrp for an Impala police package. I can think of much better use for all those taxdollars.

  • Impala's are weak. I don't think the E7 is really worth it either. I'll stick with the Charger w/ police package.

  • I don't like the way the Chargers look. I like to Vics. Just my opinion. The agency that I do ride alongs with said they are easing towards Chargers when they retire one of their older vics(one for one). He also said the Chargers were lower in the center, and the only thing good about them was the front and back bumber clearance.

  • ah, man! it is not bought of our taxes. A police force won't even begin to make a car like this. this car won't be even used outside. this car is made by people who loved making cars like this and who may be very rich so they car efford this.

  • so can i actually buy one of these cars, without all the police stuff on it? cause that's one hell of a good looking car!
