I found out the Solution to open the doors. You have to kill ALL the wolves that appear. One of the wolves in my game went down the stairs, I found and it killed it. Afterwards you get another "cutscene" with the dudes talking.

You should've run past the chest, there's a helarious scene you missed about how opening chests shouldn't be mandatory for getting a key item.

I never really explored the combat of the game... As soon as I got spell weaving, I just mixed fire and storm, then spammed the area effect until all my enemies were dead.

am experiencing a major bug, like many others I can not open the door to tower as I think it thinks you are in combat... though it saying all the proper things that are said after killing them and are repeated non-stop. I have tried going to every sanctuary room to get it off thinking about combat, looking for a surviving wolf which I assume is not possible as the trigger did go off about all of them being dead, and switching clothes idk... PLEASE HELP (and I do NOT have Live, so any to it..)
