No fear here! A sporty in the wet is a squirrel, on race day It's a greasy squirrel! In my humble opinion you may have a slight control improvement with lowering the front end and a lower set of handle bars. If you can get the center of gravity down just a few inches it will make a marked inprovement. (The driver may be a bit more comfortable too) Very ambitious project you have, congratulations!

1998 XL1200S. I really want to build it as an EVO 1200 version of the XR750TT, but then there's no room for my girlfriend on the seat and no room for her leg next to Supertrapp XR high pipes.I'll also have to be carefull about over heating in traffic with the full fairing (looks cool, runs hot). Thanks for sharing your video.
I drag raced a sportster for years , much respect for trying to steer one.

Yeah! Bubi's bike has ohlins shocks,but...exhaust is not a Vance,it is a Superttapp exhaust. 4''disks in that fat pipe.
