This first part of the Dark Gaia battle annoys me compared to the Wii Version. In the Wii version, you just have to dodge his claws and punch him (Gaia Collossus is always right in front of Dark Gaia in the Wii version), you don't have to boost in from a mile away and dodge all the crap he throws at you like in the 360 version. Then u go through 3 straight Sonic levels to hit the eyes and then you do the Super Sonic part. If I played this level, it seems like it would REALLY try my patience....

Got a lot better once I started to block and punch instead of just trying dodge, though.

Good, someone who agrees with me about this fight being hard. I used the pause-during-quicktime trick to beat him my first time lol. Have you gotten an S on this fight yet? If I didn't get hit I would have X(. But you know what's harder than this fight? Eggmanland. The only thing that saved me were the 1-ups before all the hard parts. For me, the roller coaster part and the part where you have to walk on the pipes as the werehog.

You can only block and hope to get nudged out of it, I believe.

Yeah, Eggmand Land was a right bitch. Luckily I had about 70 lives from redoing that Rooftop Run act 2 vid over and over and OVER.

Went in with 70, came out with SIX.

:O wow... I went in with 30 came out with 22 lol. I saw a vid of the level before though... so I had an advantage. I got my 1-ups from chun-nan though... It took me 69 mins to beat eggmanland :(. I got a C. You don't get a rank on Dark Gaia unless you face him TWICE though. The time you beat the game it doesn't count. You know what I hate though? Even when you beat Dark Gaia twice, Eggmanland remains unconnected to the earth. It makes me feel like the game is incomplete.

XD sorry for blabbering on, but how come if you die on Dark Gaia you need to fight Egg Dragoon again? Even if that IS one of my favorite boss battles in a sonic game.

And I dunno why they made you start from there. True, it's a good boss fight, but SA2 and the like didn't make you start from Biolizard but from FinalHazard.

Something stupid about the Egg Dragoon, when you fight it, why does Robotnik say "Stop! That's delicate!"... I thought it was the prototype of the super ultra ultimate armor or something... but it's delicate? This is why Robotnik always fails, never thinks things through...

Well, to be fair, it IS a prototype. You can have the strongest metal in the world and it''ll still have SOME weaknesses until you make it the right way.

Egg Dragon was literally fresh off the production line, after all.

Well, yeah, it's like saying "Now I will destroy you with my airplane that can't fly yet!" Then he says "I'll build a prototype 2..." JUST BUILD THE REAL THING! Stop it with the prototypes! They never work!
