  • Great video of this disaster! Sad for the victims.

  • Wow...I slept right through the whole thing.

  • Sometimes, its better when these things happen overnight. Bracing yourself can cause further injury and laying in bed keeps you stationary. What a disaster! Im moving my bed away from the window and taking shelves off my wall.

Its not funny but I had to smile a bit when they mentioned the blast hitting the home for the deaf. Get it... sound... deaf people.... too soon??? (Im not a hater!!! 2 of my close family members are deaf and im familiar with sign language....) However, so ironic!

  • That explosion blew me out of my bed and left my insides shaking for hours. It also shook the foundation of my home and I live on Centre street. Thankfully this happened at night; can't even imagine how many lives would have been otherwise.

  • This woke me up out of bed, I lived next to the library up the street from the mall and police station, thought it was an earthquake at first, went outside and saw a mushroom cloud. That was a crazy night, glad no one got hurt

  • i lived in georgetown and we felt it there

  • Five houses on the street were my relatives and my family's house lost windows.

  • @scorzi who are your relatives. i live on that street.

  • @corcrssly507

We owned 26 Riverside Street (the Scorzoni's), but my grandmother Ruth Lynch lived there, my aunt Barbara Lynch, my uncle John Lynch, The O'Neil's on Bates Street, and most of the people I went to school with.

  • @scorzi o ya we know barbara and we used to know ruth. we live about 3 houses down the road

  • @scorzi My family was on Bates st too. The house is rebuilt now, but it was a disaster. My brother, 7yo at the time, still has PTSD from that.

  • after i felt it i turn on the radio, becuase my tv was on the emergancy channel to stay in doors

  • really thats freaking crazy i only live a mile away but man thats horible for you

  • my old house was the closest building next to the chemical factory where it blew up
