lol,you cant say verts better than street ..2 totally different styles. ALOT of the skaters will agree to give credit to both styles. Vert skaters cant match most street skaters tricks and vice versa!! Rodney mullen/jamie thomas will blow away any vert skater and tony hawk/shaun white will blow away any street skater on their own ground. vert doesnt have to do anything with ur foot position, which can be regular(left foot is ur front foot) or goofy (right foot is front foot). vert just means, that the ramps are vertical. the oppisite of vert skatin is street skatin, which means that you skate on the streets obviously xD(examples for street obstacles: curbs, rails, ledges,hips, gaps, ...) and fakie means ridin backwards in ur normal foot position. just watch videos like " how to fakie flip" and u'll know what im talking about
