  • Red Skelton was one of the most famous comedians and was on American tv for more years that you are old. ha ha

    Aegan

  • Yeah. I know this well.

He sure knew how to bring these few words to life beyond a monotonous repetitive hum.

  • Yes, he was a genius in so many areas of his life...Thank you for remembering.

  • Aegan, I'm finding it hard to type...This brings tears to my eyes. I am so afraid for what has happened to Our World. My Father had traveled all over and he always reminded me to never forget what a wonderful Country were Blessed to live in. I miss my Dad, but I'm glad he is not here to see what has happened.

    Thank you for posting this!

    (((Hugs))) For You, My Friend!

  • I understand your tears...people around the world are fearing the coming New World Order - One World Government and its hidden agenda. Says I...God Save America and God Save the Queen.

    Aegan

  • This sent shivers up my spine! Thanks so much for putting this up. Those few used to be so meaningful.

I fear this country has abandoned the meaning of those words. Something has gone very wrong over here.:(

  • PS: I can remember evenings watching the Red Skelton show on TV. I always liked that show.

I didn't know then just how much of a true American he was.

R.I.P Red. You are NOT forgotten!

    Rick

  • I watch him when in San Francisco and fell in love with his Freddie the Freeloader...remember him? A wonderful humanitarian who lost his son at too early an age and nearly gave up his whole career.

    Aegan

  • Wasn't it magnificient? He wrote beautiful music, symphonies, poetry and yet he humbled himself so children could understand him. He was a genius in my book. He was also a fantastic oil artist.

  • What a wonderful speech Aegan. We don't know anything about Red Skelton. Thank you. Hope you have a lovely Sunday! Stars and warm hugs..Jan and Susan ♥

    Have a great day,

    Aegan

  • I ADORE Red Skeleton

  • Good, he was such a wonderful person and had such tragedy in his life. I guess that is what makes some people succeed at life while the same tragedy causes failure.

  • Yes .... I know far too much about the latter myself.

  • You are a winner, look how many people love you...and who is to say what makes a success and what makes a failure after all.

    Hugs,

    Aegan

  • Thank you, Babe. You're very kind and also very wise.

    Hugs you back,

    Dee
