What a great pairing these two were, they were made for each other in the "singing" sense. Mario sang at similar concerts with other sopranos but non can match the beauty and sheer "naturalness" of Kathryn Grayson. Of course Mario Lanza is the greatest tenor that has ever graced this planet. Such a pity neither of them made the transition to the operatic stage.
However, we are lucky to have those two films they made together which I never tire of watching.
The doubters of Mario Lanza should really listen closely to this recording and not miss out the enjoyment of the beauty that his voice possessed . The (WORD COMES FIRST) and Lanza's interpretation of the words are flawless as his most beautiful voice is extremely captivating,Enjoy

Lanza has a very sweet and strong voice, a rare gift for us music lovers. Grayson is also very sweet with great range. What a lovely duet.
