some F1 drivers have switched to rallying on more than one instance. None that i know off, stayed in the sport. they were all averagish. some were super stars in the F1.
@dilirent kimi has been in rally for the past few years, i dont think he even has a stage fastest time, let alone a podium finish, kimi is back in f1 this year
F1 has more skill than rally? Whaaaat? You can't be serious. Don't get me wrong, F1 drivers are incredible drivers. But the skill and reflexes required for a rally races are much higher. Rally is on dirt, which causes loss of traction which makes controlling the vehicle much harder. driving over 100mph through a bendy ass road in a forest is much more amazing to see than a paved track that repeats itself hundreds of times.
@11223311ish yeah but the G forces in F1 are just crazy...sorry but F1 is in my opinion harder...You need to have those kinda reactions in F1 too when your going that fast. ask the F1 drivers themselves! many were rally drivers ;)

lets put some F1 drivers in an rally car.... the wont make it into finish... rally drivers are really skilled.... F1 sucks.... 60 rounds in an circle... sure they need reaction but rally driver need even more reaction. they should send more rally in tv then formula 1 boring 60 rounds...

rally cars generally are 300 to 600 in opened road , not on f1 sharp corners

F1 driver can be a rallriver , but not any rally driver can be f1 , or you will see F1 drivers every where :D
Are you serious? None of your conclusions is correct. The best rally drivers have proven that they CAN drive a F1. Kimi is actually the first F1 driver, who manages to keep decent speed with WRC car, but unfortunately(I am Kimi's fan) he had sooo many accidents in 2010 season.
As a final I would say that the only common thing between F1 and Rally is that they are both high-speed races. It is not really correct to compare, cause they are too different.
