@KitKat1395 You should look at it from the other way around. I don't need a girlfriend, but men are expected to have them. Societal roles suck for everybody. Role models should be taken in with a grain of salt. Any person that gets their beliefs on life from twilight is stupid beyond belief. Reading these books isn't going to make people belief this. Give people more credit.

Thank you!! Stephen King is a literary genius. Stephanie Meyer is a terrible writer. I wish someone would tell her to freaking stop. I also wish twilight lovers would tell us to stop hating cause I am not hating. I am simply stating the facts. I have READ the books. @Faramirel The Dead Zone. Great book, the Christopher Walken movie was a good adaptation and the whole thing is just fun and scary. Also if you're a writer, then Misery will definatley scare you.

@Beatles4eva3 You're right, he is nothing compared to Shakespeare and Meyer is nothing compared to him, but until you're Shakespeare, you can't really pass judgement on anyone else's stuff. I've read Dreamcatcher and The Shining and I really enjoyed them. I really enjoyed Twilight aswell but I'll admit it isn't written as well. But it's still good. . Now if we want to talk about horrors, I've read Shelley's Frankenstein and Stoker's Dracula and I'll say that these were better.

People dont understand why twilight fans like Twilight and it's because they are in love with an idea of love that doesn't exist anymore- I would because I am a Twilight fan. People who don't like Twilight have accepted that this kind of love is extinct but Twilight fans- myself included- don't wish to believe this. We want to believe that a guy can truly love a women who doesn't care about her looks or weight but even when boys say this the dont want an ugly or fat girl. So don't hate Twilight

For its target audience, (ie; 3-13 year olds...oh, I'm sorry. Apparently, it's also aimed at teens.) it's an extremely bad way to view a woman. In BD Bella could have all but committed suicide just because her boyfriend leaves her. Who does that? Meyers made it sound like the most romantic thing in the world and that's just wrong!

All this is, is a story about a creepy 200 year old man stalking 16 year old high school girls and breaking into their bedrooms.
