hi there i need to ask if i can use the AV to view something i connected to the unit and i still want to play music from the unit
because i'm getting an HKS camp 2 and it needs a screen to view the gauges which connects to the JVC by the AV ,so can watch the gauges while i still listen the music or i have i have to be stuck to one at a time ? and my other choice is the sony XAV-70BT so any info would be useful and thank u
I want to install this in my CIVIC. Crutchfield says it won't fit. However I can get the Metra adapter for double din i supouse.... question: Every double din size is the same? Is the front panel standard size so ANY DD stereo would fit in a DD kit? Hope you can help. BTW I love your Cell Phone mounting device the way it attaches to the side. Where did you get that one. THANK YOUUUUU :) :)
which civic u ve got? i have the 08 civic and i will install it in a few days. you need to order a set of accessories from your local dealer. quite expensive though...you need to change all the fascia and the source unit.
I got this unit when it first came out 2 months ago unfortunately i have just had to box it up and send it back because it stopped playing DVD in full screen,couldnt read USB adaptor and started over heating,the only thing is it is a great unit but just wait before buying to make sure units dont have problems.
I got this bad boy 2 days ago in my Grand Marquis. I like it for the sound quality and features but the problem I have so far is importing my cell phone contacts into my head unit automatically without it disconnecting.

You could do that using the reverse camera input....but you will have to do a mod so you can activate the reverse signal through some kind of switch
