Clever idea, but the acting sucked. It needed a little more pizazz...varied camera angles, for one. Better sound, some snazzy edititing. This could have gone a lot further with some more creative thought process put into it.

Very nice commercial, but the girl would have been more believable is she had moved her arms as if she were serious about what she was saying instead of keeping them on her lap as if she were rehearsing lines

This is perfect the video does not matter, quality of the camera is not a issue its the idea, no gimmick just creative advertising...perfect with a little quality control this could be a GREAT AD CAMPAIGN not just one 30 sec spot, its great!

This is a great idea. You need work on the film/light/sound aspects, but those things can be learned. Often it is the 'script' that is most elusive to creative types and ius somthing much harder to teach/learn. I wish I came up with this. Good Job.

I think it is the oven... maybe the oven fan... When I was editing, I noticed it and thought I would re-shoot but it also adds a bit of realism to the whole thing... and could possibly also parallel the "noise" that she is making I guess... but that is stretching it a bit lol... thanks for the comment!

Better concept than execution. Use 2-3 couples--just one drags(i.e she has to go on and on to fill the 30 secs), one guy sees the other do it, go with the product closeups(as you said below). Maybe one girl doesn't touch the fries until guy puts Heinz on. A faster pace, a little funnier and you could win.

Not bad. Funny idea. I wish you could have gotten in one close up of each character to get their personalities better (or at least to see how bored the guy really is). But the body language pretty much does it anyway. It's still good as is.

Thanks, I was consitering that and also having close ups of the push of the plate towards the girl (with the ketchup large in frame), but I thought it looked a lot more real this way (like an observer). Also, since its just a simple dv cam, I didn't want to make it look like I was trying to go more professional than the quality of film suggests. This way it is kind of like someone forgot to turn the camera off, etc. You are right, but I guess it is a tradeoff of sorts. Thanks for the comment!
