@HatsuneMikuXVocaloid L's death -was- heartbreaking. But I think that Light's death, in a lot of ways, is kind of more...upsetting, because of the fact that it's not really just about him dying. It's not simply -his- death. It's also the end of Death Note. The series starts and ends with Light. After L dies everything sort of kicks into overtime, but still goes on. So I find it really sad when Light finally meets his own end. Though this IS coming from someone who loves Light dearly. :)
This is definitely Misa's song, it describes her so well! Each lyric was made for her. Don't get me wrong, I like Misa and all, (Although she has had some very annoying parts) but she should date someone that would actually appreciate her and her beauty... Like Matsuda XD. I'm a MisaXMatsuda fan but I'm not sure if that would actually work out too well XP. Anyways, this video is awesome, I love the effects, they're brilliant, I like how you didn't make it TOO flashy. Based on their personalities alone we can assume that IF they were ever in such a relationship and one of them was to be considered submissive it would be a constant struggle for dominance. In my opinion, ideally, they would switch off. Light without his memories just is not dominant over L. Kira on the other hand has a chance at topping. It all depends.

It was proven quite a few times to the team that Light couldn't possibly be Kira, so when it's revealed that he actually is, Matsuda snaps. He also looked up to Light's father. The knowledge that comes with the realization of Light being Kira is that Light had been lying to all of them, including Soichiro who lost his life because of it. He was pissed...and Light didn't really have time to react lol.

@kweekweeable I'm actually pretty flexible with my Death Note pairs most of the time. Maybe it's just because I love almost all of the characters. At one point I liked LxNear, but even back then and probably now and forever LxLight, to me, beats all xD (though I do have a HUGE soft spot for MattxMello/MelloxMatt...really anything relating to the pairing. I was a total Mello fangirl back in 2007-9). If you MUST pair someone with Near why not Giovanni?Or someone else? P.S. Cosplay is amazing. =)

@RipMyEffingHeartOut In the how to read 13 of the manga the authors stated that misa did commit suicide it just wasn't in the anime or manga (one of those things they just never tell us) And at the end of the manga the girl was just a kira supporter there because they wanted something pretty at the end and in the anime i believe they show misa standing onthe top of a building but she also doesn't commit suicide then either.

I totally agree with this being a Misa song, but I couldn't quite follow with what was going on in the video because of all the flashes. I'm not trying to be mean, but they were really distracting. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but I could see if that was the effect you were going for in retrospect (camera flashes). Other than that, it was really good though.

Lady GaGa said that the song is about her struggles. Whether she wants fame, love, or if she can have both. In my opinion, the song is about stalking, being someone's biggest fan, grabbing attention and getting famous. When applied to Misa, it's about her obssession with a certain serial killer. I was at the gym this morning and Paparazzi came on my ipod. My first thought was, "Hmm...I wonder if anyone's ever made a Misa AMV to this song." So when I got home, I signed on youtube, and there it was! Nice job.
misa deserved better. even at her worst, she really was still a very sweet and innocent, if somewhat troubled, young woman. she had her remaining life time cut in half TWICE just for light/kira. and ultimately, all because of his god complex. she devoted herself to her one true love, who only really ever loved himself. ultimately, she deserved better. especially when you consider that she won't be allowed to go to heaven or hell. misa's story is rather tragic when you stop and think about it.
I absolutely agree. She did deserve better. I don't blame Light though. It was Misa's choice to try and help him. Light was a complete ass, but she wanted to be useful to him more than anything. Every decision she made was her own and Light can't be blamed for all of her actions. She did whatever he asked of her and she was perfectly willing to do it.
I agree, misa must be held accountable for her own actions and choices, but for almost the entire show, the only thing she does of any real importance is what light tells her to do. I blame misa for what she did, but I feel light is even more to blame for manipulating and using misa like some cheap tool. the pupeteer is even more to blame for what the puppet does.
Anyway, I agree. I quite like Misa. I don't know why so many people don't. Personally, the only thing that bugs me is near the beginning, she was actually a character. @AmandyChan to be honest, I only watched it for L , misa, and the always entertaining ryuk. I never really liked it all that much, though the whole, "if you had the deathnote, would you use it?" thing was pretty damn intense to watch.

Then some time after L dies stupid waste anyway Melo kidnaps Misa the superstar society reacts by calling kira to save her puts the pressure on light as kira to save face then N kidnaps Sayu! True Drama!

It was proven quite a few times to the team that Light couldn't possibly be Kira, so when it's revealed that he actually is, Matsuda snaps. He also looked up to Light's father. The knowledge that comes with the realization of Light being Kira is that Light had been lying to all of them, including Soichiro who lost his life because of it. He was pissed...and Light didn't really have time to react lol.

@kweekweeable I'm actually pretty flexible with my Death Note pairs most of the time. Maybe it's just because I love almost all of the characters. At one point I liked LxNear, but even back then and probably now and forever LxLight, to me, beats all xD (though I do have a HUGE soft spot for MattxMello/MelloxMatt...really anything relating to the pairing. I was a total Mello fangirl back in 2007-9). If you MUST pair someone with Near why not Giovanni?Or someone else? P.S. Cosplay is amazing. =)

@RipMyEffingHeartOut In the how to read 13 of the manga the authors stated that misa did commit suicide it just wasn't in the anime or manga (one of those things they just never tell us) And at the end of the manga the girl was just a kira supporter there because they wanted something pretty at the end and in the anime i believe they show misa standing onthe top of a building but she also doesn't commit suicide then either.

Ive never watched deathnote, but i became interested in misa so i searched and saw this vid. i am a huge gaga fan and when i saw the name of this i got curious and clicked. lol i learned that lili from tekken has a hairstyle u can buy on tekken 6 that looks exactly like one of misa's styles. its called "goth pigtails" go figure.

I totally agree with this being a Misa song, but I couldn't quite follow with what was going on in the video because of all the flashes. I'm not trying to be mean, but they were really distracting. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but I could see if that was the effect you were going for in retrospect (camera flashes). Other than that, it was really good though.

@mirage12ful I suppose the song has a few different meanings. I don't think that the song by itself is actually about a celebrity death, but it might be in the music video. Lady GaGa said that the song is about her struggles. Whether she wants fame, love, or if she can have both. In my opinion, the song is about stalking, being someone's biggest fan, grabbing attention and getting famous. When applied to Misa, it's about her obssession with a certain serial killer. misa deserved better. even at her worst, she really was still a very sweet and innocent, if somewhat troubled, young woman. she had her remaining life time cut in half TWICE just for light/kira. and ultimately, all because of his god complex. she devoted herself to her one true love, who only really ever loved himself. ultimately, she deserved better. especially when you consider that she won't be allowed to go to heaven or hell. misa's story is rather tragic when you stop and think about it.

I absolutely agree. She did deserve better. I don't blame Light though. It was Misa's choice to try and help him. Light was a complete ass, but she wanted to be useful to him more than anything. Every decision she made was her own and Light can't be blamed for all of her actions. She did whatever he asked of her and she was perfectly willing to do it.

I agree, misa must be held accountable for her own actions and choices, but for almost the entire show, the only thing she does of any real importance is what light tells her to do. I blame misa for what she did, but I feel light is even more to blame for manipulating and using misa like some cheap tool. the pupeteer is even more to blame for what the puppet does.

@Rougamaru Actually, Ryuk confirms Light's guess that there is no Heaven and Hell and that Ryuk just said the "can neither go to heaven nor hell" thing just to scare him and--OH! That's right! The anime f---ed up the ending, and that's why you didn't know that. Read the last chapter of the manga.
