Thank you. why i wasn't told this at hospital, I'll never know. I have a significant prolapse of L4/L5 and have been in dreadful pain recently. I have to wait 6-8 weeks for surgery so should benefit from this greatly. Thanks again
@Awake4Truth yes, had surgery almost 6 months ago. microdiscectomy and correction of a twist in L4/5. Some people seem to recover quickly but It is taking a bit longer in my case. I would say that I'm 85% recovered and haven't taken any meds for months. I think there is quite a bit of luck involved with the surgery but if you are getting significant pain (where it interferes with sleeping and being active), then it has been worth it. good luck.
@TheDrFMG I'm happy for you that you are still improving and very happy for you that you are off pain meds. I'm so over being on pain meds. I really want my old life back. I was a very outdoors active guy, until this injury. And it keeps re-stirring up so easily. I might be getting fusion S1/L5 and ADR L5/L4. Scary stuff, but hopefully get my life back.I want to take my son to active outdoor things when his a bit older. His 5months now, but his whole life ahead and I want to be part of it.
man it hurts like hell to get up like that it aint easy :(

@TheDrFMG Have you had surgery? If you have, how has it helped? I might be getting surgery, so I'm very curious to if it helped you at all.
