  • Here's the rundown:

    Original Milwaukee Road for most of it. some abandoned CNW lines were absolved as well, then became Soo Line when MILW tanked

    Soo Line was absorbed into CP Rail and they sold off the current ICE to become I&M Rail Link

    I&M got bought out by DM&E becoming IC&E.

    CP Rail saw that IC&E was making a profit on their old line...Bought em back.

  • I saw IC&E SD40-2's on a Eastbound freight last night in Northbrook IL awsome because I saw those same units on a Eastbound train at Red Wing Mn A few years ago, IC&E was brought by CP Rail which also awsome now the DM&E
