  • Boise State is overrated.....congratz on beating out of conference teams like Oklahoma and georgia. But....a blind squirrel can find an acorn every now and then.

    Join the SEC.....

    You won't beat LSU

    You won't beat Alabama

    You won't beat Auburn

    You won't beat Arkansas

    You won't beat Georgia again

    Might beat Tennessee

    Might beat Mississippi State

  • i like when he chucked the ball after they won the ref flew a flag LMAO

  • luv the sounds of the crowd

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is why u keep bowl games not playoffs!

  • this is why college football is better than the NFL because there is more excitment

  • @CoDMWfan54 how often does this happen in college? this is why it worked, cuz it no one ever does it.

  • @CoDMWfan54 nfl is no where near as exciting....college playoffs would close that gap big time

  • @INSANEBOY63

are you kidding me the skill level is nowhere near the NFL

  • @wlc2382 im not talking about skill. I said that the nfl doesnt have as exciting of a schedule because its more of a fight for the playoffs than a fight to be best. a college playoff would make the college season a lot less exciting as well. i think a plus one that just had semi games of 1v4 and 2v3 would be a good idea, but anything else wouldnt go well

  • You wont see that in the NFL.... Lol..

  • @Kxiong276 and haven't seen it in college since.

  • Louskank those pretty big words for a redneck who was never good in school and even worse at football

  • These are some pretty amazing plays for such an overrated team.

  • ian jhonson rocks

  • OU sucks when they have t play someone as good as Boise!

  • best play ever

  • oklahomo

  • lol ou.. quite the

  • beware of the dawg

  • that dude broke his heels 0:07

  • Nevada

  • --...Boise State even faked out the cameraman at :50

  • Still haven't seen a better college game.

  • every football game should be this exciting!!! BOISE 4 Life!

  • @txiong076 then we wouldnt respwect this one

  • I love hearing the crowd roar everytime they make a play

  • wow they have some awesome plays

  • 8 oklahoma fans are in denial

  • @cshizzle53 In denial of what? Something that happened over 5 years ago? Yeah OKAY lol. Get real.

  • haha mobilehoma lost!!

  • Lol see the ref throw the flag when ian johnson throws the ball to the crowd. Dude takes his job seriously

  • Oklahomos

  • one of the most exciting games EVER.

  • nfl player Ryan Clady had the game winning block...

  • Th fucking statue of liberty!!! OMG!!!! amazing!!!!!!

  • i bet the 7 who dislike are sooners

  • mmmmm tostitos

  • hey how did boise do against nevada?

and do u know who is ranked 4th now?

    hmmmm

  • @planetboy13 they lost to an underrated nevada team (best QB/RB rushing tandem in history) in one of the best (albeit unknown to those homers outside the WAC) rivalries in college football...why won't your team schedule a home and away series with them? oh yeah...big boys are scared of playing a boise state or TCU in a non-conference game, my bad...until your team will play "anyone, anytime, anywhere" i really don't think you have a leg to stand on there, dumbass

  • play was run to perfection, 11 guys on the same page, it took that to make it work

  • SmoothCriminal57, I feel goose bumps when I watch this too. I love this game. It has seriously been one of the greatest if not THE greatest of all time.

  • The most underrated team in NCAA history? Best college game ever? Nope. Watch the Miami/Nebraska 1984 Orange Bowl. And if the smaller schools are doing 'damage' why arent the coaches of those school being investigated like the big ones are? Just thought I'd throw that out there. Any multi-million dollar making sport is always grounds for skepticism.

  • @HolmzB124 this was a much better game than the 1984 orange bowl. all it was, was a bad 2 point conversion pass.

  • haha they lost

    watch our shots

  • @ShotAmazing i know..I placed 100 on the bet..after first half,i thought there goes my 100.But then the unexpected happenedd..We won!!im so proud of our team....Best college football game ever

  • BOISE STATE IS A BEASTY BRONCO!

  • @coltsfan4life16 N guess who one today??hahaha

  • This was the best college football game I have ever seen.

  • What a great game. ...How hard was it to film this during the best ncaa fbs game ever? i'd be jumping too much...

  • I was there for that :)

  • goes to show that smaller schools can do some major work!! dont underestimate them!:)

  • Hands down the most underrated team in all of NCAA football.

  • its funny cause he faked out the camera.

  • i love kellen moore:)

  • If Oregon, Auburn, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and TCU or Utah lose, then Boise might have a shot at the national title

  • i was at that game and i was 6 and i was sitting rite around that area but wasnt in the tape and man were we happy but man i crashed on the way home in the car but the night that we won i couldn't sleep GO B.S.U GO ORANGE GO BIG BLUE FIGHT FIGHT B.S.U

  • that was my hand at 0:11

  • say what you want about how boise got lucky this trick play that. Boise won because they had more salt and heart than OU. It wouldve been easy for an "out matched" team to lay down after zabranski's last pick. they got up and did WHAT IT TOOK to win. Either way this game marked the beginning of the end for the "BCS" which can't end soon enough. Alabama, oregon, dallas cowboys, whoever put them up against Coach peterson and the broncos ill put my money on the broncos finding a way to win

  • I have only enjoyed watching Micheal Jordan more than watching this game. It was unforgettable!

  • 7 dislikers: Obviously Oklahoma students and fans.

198 likers: Boise State students and fans, probably Oklahoma State students and fans, possibly Texas students and fans, and anyone else who likes a good old intense college football game.

  • BOISE!

  • you know you are watching not just a great game but the greatest game in CFB when you get goosebumps everytime you watch highlights.

  • @SmoothCriminal57

    Texas vs. USC was better

  • @Starfox1997 funny you say that, because i am a huge Longhorns fan. lol. and for the time i thought no game would surpass that. but idk. this game, to me, was just a bit better. but there is no doubt that Vince Young gave the single greatest performance in a National Championship game ever in my opinion.

  • I was at that game, I was the one yelling if anyone was wondering

  • @Pissoutmyassnow I laughed my ass off when I read this comment!

  • @Pissoutmyassnow Ohhh you were the one! I was wondering who that was...

  • @Pissoutmyassnow I was at that game, too! I was the one wearing blue and orange! Yay!

  • @Pissoutmyassnow yeah me too i was the one in the stands jumping

  • @OUfootballauthority

LOL. OU is bad this year. You're lucky the last comment you put was before the first game of this season. They almost got schooled by USU. They don't have a good QB like they normally do (Heupel & Bradford) so for this season and maybe next, they won't be on the scene. It wouldn't surprise me if Ponder and the Noles beat them by two touchdowns or more. Also, BSU could easily handle a harder schedule. I just watched them beat VT, which should've been a bigger win. Thanks.

  • @trife19 Boise BARELY beat Virginia Tech. And if you were watching that game, you would have seen in the first quarter that VT shot themselves in the foot with turnovers. I'm not downplaying Boise's greatness this season, because there is obviously a reason for such a high ranking. But like most, I am doubtful. Congrats on beating VT. And OU will do just fine with Landry Jones.

  • @OUfootballAuthority And the only reason they have that knock against them is because teams like OU won't play them for fear of having their asses handed to them. Think before you type dumbass. They answered every question I had about them. they were stout against the run and will be better against the pass as the season progresses.

  • @bigsteelmike89 The reason teams like OU won't schedule Boisd is becuase if Boise wins, then OU would be laughed at. But if OU wins, they gain no lift in the polls and everyone would say. "you beat Boise, so what?" There is nothing to gain from playing Boise. Ohh notice how VT collapsed agianst an FCS team. Yea, you beat a great VT team. Meanwhile, OU blew out Florida St.

  • @OUfootballAuthority No one would laugh at OU for losing to Boise at this point, especially on a neutral field or in Boise. How can you say there's nothing to gain by beating the #3 team in the country? Well thought out. OU losing to BYU last year proved OU isn't too good to play anyone, obviously.

  • @jcdixon97 I didn't think that up, that is a direct quote from an ESPN analyst who wanted to know why teams wouldn't play Boise St. Honestly, I'd love to see OU play Boise agian on a nuetral field. But I don't call the shots.

  • @OUfootballAuthority Well, it's a crappy statement, I wouldn't claim it either. Beating the #3 team, Boise or otherwise is far better than blowing out, at best, an average FSU team. The so called 'big boys' cant bitch about Boise's schedule if they continue to avoid scheduling them. Boise will play anywhere and all it takes is one good team to beat Boise and its over. But no, Neb, Bama, OU, and USC are too chicken and scheduled other WAC teams instead, but yet still want to bitch. Unreal.

  • @OUfootballAuthority So let's say you're down a TD and you're 4th and 18. There are very few plays that will gain 18 yards on 4th down, but there's one you practice regularly. So you execute it and make a TD. Then you're down a TD and you're 4th and 2, so the line is looking for the run, but you throw a TD. Then to stick the fork in the pig, you go for 2 to win the game by faking to the right and handing off to the left for the 2 points. There's an obligation to inform the other team? DUH!

  • @OUfootballAuthority Yup--your hoity toity attitude stinks. OU undoubtedly has a great football program, but nobody outside parts of Oklahoma can stand OU fans because of comments like this. You dis other programs but use the lame excuse that it won't build your empire's reputation by playing them. Sad, sad, sad. "Authority" is just a misnomer for an egotistical attitude in football--the proper attitude would be to root for all programs, especially ones like BSU.

  • @Rockyspoon09 I am not dissing Boise, I just pointed out the obvious. So what are you so pissed about? I am happy for Boise for their win, but I'm not going to root for them you moron. In case you haven't noticed, most people root for their favorite team and not the other. I don't know why Boise and their fans have a superiority complex, but it's really damn annoying. Quit crying that your team deservers respect, you don't get it by demanding it, you get it by being a humble winner.

  • @OUfootballAuthority I'm not demanding respect--I just find it silly that you keep moaning about "trick plays" when you apparently want BSU to tell OU what play they're going to run so they don't look foolish! That's the most idiotic notion I've ever heard, and you know it. Is there really anything tricky about the lateral, the HB pass, or a Statue of Liberty? Not really--except the fact that it blew OU away. Name call all you want; that's usually the case when you've lost the argument!

  • @OUfootballAuthority What's really pathetic is your name: "OUFootballauthority", for you have a football IQ of about 90. If you look at the total '07 football game on DVD you'll realize BSU OWNED OU in that game--the argument can be made that it was a few fluke plays after BSU was up 28 to 10 that let OU back in the game. You're pretty silly saying BSU had to resort to "desperation plays"--your definition of any play that made OSU look stupid (and inept in thinking ouside the box). LOL

  • @D1Champ08 i wasn't talking about the ou game in the previous comment( I've changed my username I used to be andyb1314) and I wrote that comment right after the game. I wasn't shocked either, but you have to be confident in your team- no matter what. I mean i wasn't gonna run around telling people that we were gonna lose, was I?

  • 0:55 listen to that crowd... gosh i wish i was there.. im not even a boise st. fan, but i was pulling for them so freakin bad! this was the greatest game i have ever personally watched... BY FAR

  • boise state couldn't win 7 games in the sec

  • @drawdys quit hating.. yes they could btw, i personally guarantee they could win 7 games in the sec.. and they really took it too OU that night

  • It pains me to see this highlight again, but it's just an amazing group of plays. I'm a die hard OU fan and I still cannot believe Chris Peterson did 3 trick plays in a row. The man has balls. He's got my respect. Absolutely the greatest bowl game of all time.

  • @AdrianPetersonFan369 u a class act

  • When the Broncos were on the ropes, they whipped out the ballsy types of trick plays only seen in Madden. And somehow they pulled them off with perfection. Greatest bowl game I've ever seen.

  • We ran a hook and lateral once when I was in middle school.

  • I'm so glad Oklahoma got schooled in this game! Sooner fans are the rudest, most uncouth fans in College Football.

  • Nuts of steel = BSU Offensive Coordinator.

  • Everyone on here bashing Boise State should really just shut up. Boise state has not had the opportunity to play in the national title game or play any top 5 team such as Alabama or Florida or Texas, nor have they had an opportunity to play in a tougher schedule such as the Big 12 or SEC. Now Boise plays Virginia Tech this year as you all know, and after Boise State's performance in that game and this whole season, then we will know whether they are a title contender or not

  • Anyone care to know why Boise State has such an easy schedule? Boise State called big schools such as Florida, Ohio State, and other teams from the Big Ten, Big 12, SEC, etc. And Boise State would even play that school at their home stadium. NOT ONE school has returned their call. So they are forced to play an easy non-conference schedule on top of an already easy conference schedule.

  • @natedagr808 those big schools are afraid to play boise st. thats y ;)

  • @Purex0wnage pretty much. too big of a risk for them, cause if Boise State beat them, their shot at a national title would go way down

  • What a great game! Love, the longhorns

  • I'll be more impressed when Boise can win bowl games without a dozen trick plays.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

lol how can you post this comment with that username and expect people to take it seriously

  • @corym006 Don't take my statement serious if you don't want to. Only Boise St. fans really think there team is a Championship team. The rest of the nation just laughs at ya.

  • @OUfootballAuthority uh who lost that night? oh right that would be sooners

  • @sammyborhap Sorry, still not impressed. They won on trick plays and luck.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

haha your a dumb ass... bsu vs Ok= BSU BSU vs TCU=BSU.... still not impressed..... ok fine, but your now a dumb ass

  • @DTA609 First off, learn to spell. That way when you call someone a dumbass, you don't make yourself look like one. Second, any experienced football coach or football analyst will testify, that trick plays are a clear indicator that the coach or team running such plays, are not confident in their standard offense or play calling. Most teams use a trick play to turn the tide of momentum. Boise has to use them to win big games. That's why I'm not impressed.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

Thank you for performing your great spell check skills on youtube, we all greatly appreciate it. Regardless, oklahoma and TCU still lost, bsu has lost one game in two seasons... Its ok if your still butt hurt about getting owned... denial is the first step to recovery....

  • @DTA609 I congradulate true Boise St. fans, but not arrogant assholes like you. Just because your team won two Fiesta bowls, doesn't mean they are the shit. To get respect, you have to play tough teams on a week to week basis and do it without trick plays. So tell me, how is that never getting to a NC game working out for ya? So you keep clinging to those two BCS bowl wins to deal with your insecurities of Boise never truely matching up to big time opponents.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

BSU came from nothing, a city, came from no where, to beat TCU and Oklahoma, in the matter of a few years they went from a college team that costs $10 to see a game, to a huge sold out arena each time now, with fans nationwide, playing in two bowl games and winning both, and both games going down in history. Oh and by the way, you should check your spelling, it's CONGRATULATE.... WHO'S THE DUMBASS NOW NIGGAA!!!!!!!

  • @DTA609 Boise sells out when they play teams like Sandiego St. What a fucking joke that is. Just like you. Why don't we go look at each teams schedule and see which one looks like a joke? Where's Zack Zabransky? Probably working at McDonalds. And while dipshit fans like you hold onto glory of beating two good teams in a BCS bowl. Teams like OU keep on winning heismans, making NFL stars, and beating ranked teams. How many NC titles does Boise have? Awww, not a damn one. Who's a dumbass now Bitch!

  • @OUfootballAuthority

Glad to see our Mcdonalds workers could beat Oklahoma..... all in all... Bsu gets the win.... you lost.... now go get yourself a Mcflurry from zach, maybe he will let you wear his ring...

  • @OUfootballAuthority

Or that our McDonalds workers could beat your Heisman and NFL players.... I win you fail

  • @OUfootballAuthority Dude. Boise went undefeated. Doesn't matter who you play. And if OU is good then they shouldn't have any problem beating teams right? Don't talk shit when your team doesn't even back that shit up.

  • @bigsteelmike89 Yea it does matter who you play, if OU played teams like troy, san diego st., toledo rockets, wyoming, new mexico st., nevada, etc. , then they would go undefeated to. There's a reason why Boise will never get to the NC game. If you can't figure it out, then I feel sorry for you. And OU has had a problem winning bowl games, but not regular season games. Glad to see you point out their ONLY weakness. Maybe I should point out all Boise's weaknesses. But then I'd run out of room

  • @OUfootballAuthority The reason is retards like You seem to think that undefeated doesn't mean anything. OU lost to BYU, Miami, Texas, Nebraska and Texas Tech. Boise lost to....Oh that's right... No one. And no Major FBS team will play them because they're scared. They handled Oregon, and beat a very very good TCU team. If Boise was to play OU my money's on Boise.

  • @bigsteelmike89 Hmmm, funny, see all those teams you pointed out that OU lost to, were ranked. That's called playing hard opponents. And yea, OU lost more than a few in 09. First time that has happened in a decade. How about OU and Boise switch schedules then if you are so confident in your Boise babies? Yeeaaa, I didn't think you'd go for that. Because we all know Boise can't handle a schedule like that. And this year, I'd put my money on OU agianst just about any team.

  • @OUfootballAuthority I'm not even a boise Fan. I'm just saying you're severely overrating OU and Severely underrating Boise.

  • @bigsteelmike89 What are you basing that off of?

  • @OUfootballAuthority Oklahoma is scared to play the following teams: Utah, Boise State, TCU, BYU, and the entire MWC.

  • @OUfootballAuthority Boom. In the face dude. OU barely handles Utah State and Boise goes out and Takes on VT and shuts you up. OU schedules a weak non-conference game and almost goes down. I'm gonna love watching them get destroyed by florida state and Christian Ponder. Boise is clearly underrated and the proof is right there in your face.

  • @bigsteelmike89 Umm dude, Boise just about lost to Virginia Tech. You won the game with less than a minute to go. And how do you get that Boise is under rated dumbass? They are ranked 3rd, so WTF are you talking about?

  • @OUfootballAuthority Uh Just about lost is not the same thing as losing. They won and by them coming back as late as they did shows me they are a complete team that can win when down late. They have an borderline elite QB, who while doesn't posses all the physical tools of a Landry Jones, Is far the superior of the two with his intellect and football IQ. boise is underrated because even if they go undefeated people will still question their strength of schedule.

  • @OUfootballAuthority So you expect BSU to just run a 10-yard pass play when they need 18+, or a keeper for 2 when they need 3 yards, or kick a safe field goal when they need 2 to win? What thought process are you bringing to the table. A GREAT football team (players and coaches) does what it needs within the rules to WIN! You're problem is that BSU took down OU that year, and you're harping and harping and harping about it. How sad; get over it.

  • @OUfootballAuthority key word... WON

  • @sammyborhap Keyword: no strength of schedule.

  • @OUfootballAuthority lol thanks for showing your stupidity

  • @OUfootballAuthority Back to the "trick" plays and "luck" excuses? How sad is that! Bet you'd hope OU had the ability to run a lateral (and make yards, even a TD); to run an HB pass (and make a TD that set up the two point conversion); and to run a deception play that had the OU D looking confused (which won the 2007 Fiesta Bows)! Keep talking, sir--your ignorance of football may someday get you to drop "authority" from your handle. I'd have to agree.

  • @OUfootballAuthority Dissing again? How sad. I'd think by now you'd find all it does is bring disdain on OU.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

I'd be even more impressed if OU doesn't fall for so many trick plays.

  • @Stryder46 Really dude? How many teams do you think really practice defending trick plays during the season? Or how about this, do you really think Boise St. could stop a trick play from another team without giving up big yards? OU's defense is getting better slowly this year. But seriously dude, if everyone practiced defending trick plays, they wouldn't call them trick plays anymore. Think about it.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

They fell for two on that drive alone. Your argument comes across as sour grapes. Nothing more, nothing less. Move on.

  • @Stryder46 Bud, you started the conversation about trick plays when you got on here and made a general statement. Sounds like you got a chip on your shoulder because you're not confident about your team. Either way, your a douche. And my point would be proven if a team would just run several trick plays on Boise.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

You were on here whining about the loss long before I was. That being said, I don't like either team. So who gives a fuck? The only one acting like a douche is you.

  • @Stryder46 Ohh, I guess trolling youtube like you do and complaining about something you don't care about or know anything about is not acting like a douche, huh? Oh wait, it is.

  • @OUfootballAuthority When I think about it (as you recommend), your argument sounds hollow and non-sensical--like you're trying to justify OU's loss or something. And whether or not any football team practices defending "trick plays", they'd still run them (although I've never considered a lateral, an HB pass or the Statue of Liberty as being trick plays--We've all seen them before and with BSU's execution of these plays we'll certainly see them again, I'm sure). In FB, you defend EVERYTHING!

  • @Rockyspoon09 Alright, then lets call those plays exactly what the offensive cordinator for Boise St. calls them. " Desperation Plays" Plays that very few teams run. And they are plays that Boise runs consistantly because their basic plays aren't productive agianst good defenses. I can agree with you on one thing, we will probably always see "desperation plays" from Boise. The fact that you take great pride in Boise running these plays constantly, is a little pathetic. But, if it makes you happy

  • @OUfootballAuthority Absolutely it makes me happy. And you can denigrate these excellent plays all day long, but to put it into perspective, I'll ask just this: Would OU, down a TD in a bowl game, use "desperation plays" to win, or would they just sit around and say "Ah, those are desperation plays, and we're not desperate enough to run them, win, and get OUfootballAuthority on our case because he just wants us to run boring, nonproductive, non-winning plays!" You make the call.

  • @Rockyspoon09 Maybe you didn't watch this game, if you had, you would have noticed that Boise used trick plays, even when they were winning. And no, OU has not used trick plays when they are losing. OU hardly ever uses them. They do what most great teams do to come back from behind, they play hard and manage the clock. And at most, make use of an on side kick. Justify all you want the use of trick plays, but in the end, that shit will bite Boise in the ass eventually.

  • @OUfootballAuthority sore loser

  • @DrGodfather14 For the hundredth time, (since you weren't smart enough to read all my comments) I am happy that Boise won the fiesta bowl because they deserved that game. But running trick plays will never win a team respect. It will win you the game when you are in a bind. And in the fiesta bowl, that's what Boise did. What I don't understand, is why Boise uses them for EVERY game. Do they not believe their ordinary offense will win the game? Also, why doesn't Boise go to another conference?

  • @OUfootballAuthority you complain about Boise running "trick plays"...first of all, a play is a play, whether it is a trick or not. If it works, why not run it, it fooled the shit out of your team. Secondly, i have watched a few boise games and they do not run trick plays every game, and i challenge you to show me 10 games where boise has had to run a trick play. Lastly, OU was only in the game due to Boise mistakes.

I'm not a fan of either team, so im trying to be as unbiased as possible.

  • @Kraken0987 The same could be said that Boise was only in the game because of OU mistakes. Quit acting like your team is owed respect when they play a weak schedule and only 1 hard team a year. You look pathetic.

  • @OUfootballAuthority first off, if you read my message I said I wasn't a fan of either Boise or OU so I don't look pathetic. I'm giving credit where credit is due. My team actually plays 6 ranked teams a year, 7 if you count the bowl game they'll be in at the end of the season. My team plays in a much tougher conference than OU does. YOU look pathetic for still being salty years after a game ended.

  • @Kraken0987 So why are you being ashamed to name your team? And obviously you have a likeness to Boise state or you wouldn't be on a youtube video arguing for a team you supposedly care nothing about using BS excuses that one would make when they know nothing about football.

  • @OUfootballAuthority I am not ashamed to name my team. I root for the Iowa Hawkeyes. I really don't care about either team at all. The only teams i care about that are out west are the Arizona Wildcats and the Oregon Ducks. I name them because Arizona beat Iowa and i am following them to see when they lose. I also mention Oregon because they are fantastic and they are going to be the ones to obliterate Arizona. I know quite a bit about football actually. That was a very large assumption to make.

  • @Kraken0987 Then you know that of all the teams you seem to like, non of them have NC titles to their name, right? You root for teams that consistantly suck at football. Oregon is good now, but they'll lose a game like they always do. And I make the assumption you know nothing because you think trick plays are a standard part of football. If that is the case, then they would not make the highlight reel because no one would be shocked or awed by them.

  • @OUfootballAuthority actually, Iowa does have a national title...secondly, Iowa doesn't consistently suck at football, there are bad years, but i would bet my bottom dollar that OU would be trashed by Iowa right now, it wouldn't even be a game. I do not think trick plays are a standard part of football, but they work so why not use them? I bet you had no problems with trick plays until Boise used ONE to beat you. I wouldn't call the HB pass a trick play because all he did was toss the ball into

  • @OUfootballAuthority the end zone...there was nothing tricky about it, just that OU's defense sucked enough to let that happen. The lateral isn't a trick play at all..again your defense sucked enough to let that work. I would call the Statue of Liberty a trick play...but whatever it won Boise the game.

  • @Kraken0987 It's called a hook and lateral bud. Do you not know your plays? A hook and lateral is a trick play.

  • @OUfootballAuthority oh well excuse me for not knowing the name for every play in CFB but Boise could probably beat any team in the country right now, except maybe oregon

  • @Kraken0987 I doubt it. I'm sure Boise would have a problem with Alabama, and we'll never know since Boise is happy playing cup cake teams for the rest of the season. Which really won't help their chances.

  • @OUfootballAuthority i dunno alabama isn't looking too hot either. They just lost to South Carolina. You're right though, Boise probably couldn't beat EVERY team, but quite a few.

  • @OUfootballAuthority BSU really isn't "happy" about playing "cupcake" teams as you call them. They realize to climb the ladder, the rungs they use have to be sturdy opponents. However, BSU also isn't willing to just be walked on by playing at a disadvantage with these more worthy opponents. I'm hoping BSU does well enough that people can see the egregious operation the BCS has become--I know fitting a playoff into college schedules is difficult, but it should be done.

  • @Rockyspoon09 A playoff? Are you nuts? If the NCAA football had a playoff, do you REALLY think BSU could survive playing 3 great teams in a row? And if they lost, they would get nothing. A playoff will never happen because it stands to destroy what makes college football great. Even Boise's coach made it known he does NOT want a playoff. Otherwise, his team never would have went to the Fiesta Bowl. You need to see the big picture here.

  • @OUfootballAuthority You heard it here, folks--a playoff! I really don't care how you handicap BSU's chances of playing "3 great tems in a row"; I want a playoff because it would settle once and for all which are the best teams. They do it in basketball so why not football. You say it might take too much time but begin the playoffs after the pre-season; it's irrational to think all these conferences are sacrosanct. That IS the big picture. Competion should select a champion, not coaches/media.

  • @Rockyspoon09 First off, I said nothing about time. Second, BSU would never survive a playoff, and Boise's coach knows that. Third, in basketball, they have playoffs, and no one takes any of the regular season games seriously. Because you can lose several games and still go to the playoffs. Which in my point of view, is rediculous. You want a playoff, and I'm glad the BCS and NCAA aren't listening to people like you.

  • @OUfootballAuthority Sorry, "OUfootbal...", this is my last response. I don't think your arguments are worthy of my time (except this one ) to say I'm not going to waste my time anymore responding. Why don't you go over on some page featuring OU playing somebody else and defend OU rather than attack BSU? That's my advice. I get the feeling you're living in your parent's basement, probably voted for Obama, and have no life except to offer lame and useless arguments. So goodbye... forever.

  • @Rockyspoon09 Basement life is pretty cool...

  • @OUfootballAuthority You are either a.) not a sports fan. Or b.) Not very articulate ...because your argument/response sounds little of 'authority' let alone an idea of authintic sportsmanship... Please be a true football fan and stay classy.

  • @SteveDren I'm sorry SteveDren, where in this argument were you involved agian? Be happy that Boise is getting a free pass this year. They beat a terrible Virginia Tech team and haven't played anyone since then. Beating up on worthless teams can be done by any team, but only Boise makes a living off of it. Classy, is that like how I've said multiple times on this page how happy I am for Boise winning the fiesta bowl? And trust me, I know more about football than you could learn in a lifetime.

  • vatech isint horriable they got talent young defense an jitters from the first week of the season boise deserves respect they knock off organ last year an va tech this year an they are quialty opponetts

  • @carmelwhite OK bud, if you say so, but don't get mad if they don't go to the National Championship. You lose respect for playing poor opponents, something which makes up 90% of Boises schedule

  • Comment removed

  • @OUfootballAuthority @OUfootballAuthority dawg. vatech is undefeated in the acc and boise plays (and beats) great teams every year, including oregon last year. just because your team is weak and has no shot at a national title doesn't mean you need to hate on boise.

  • @kmanringstad Maybe you need to check your stats bud, OU has a shot at the national title nearly every year, unlike Boise.

  • @OUfootballAuthority The comments just go on and on...How painful it must be for this person to continually struggle with the result of BSU beating OU in this game, even after so much time has passed... Sad really.

  • @TSM8088 The past is past. I could care less about this game. And maybe had you read prior comments, you would have known I wasn't discusing this game. But since you want to smack talk, how does it feel to know Boise will never go to a national championship no matter what they do? Truth hurts

  • @OUfootballAuthority I'm not a Boise State fan you fool, I couldn't care less who goes. I'm an unbiased football fan and smart enough to know that OU has been over-rated for decades. You're letting your pride cloud reality..

  • @TSM8088 Oklahoma is not over rated, they are ranked by computers and AP like all the other teams. And OU consistanly wins games unlike most teams in the NCAA. If you just came on here to be ignorant, please, don't make any comments. You'll just embarass yourself.

  • @OUfootballAuthority

take your own advise, while oklahoma consistently has positive years they aren't consistently the best team, although they are rated that way and thus they are overrated

  • @0arjay0 That made no sense. Did you even graduate high school? So you are saying that if Boise loses their bowl game this year after going undefeated, then they are WAY over rated? That they don't deserve to play in the bowl game they go to?
