I am not an Arsenal fan, but i miss this team because i am a football fan and i hurts me to see the team that was once called the Invincibles get beaten by A.C 4-0 or Sunderland 2-0. But the thing that annoys me most is that Man City come from no where and take the place of this once wonderful footballing side all because of money and that is what the so caled beautiful game has turned into MONEY.
This team would probably beat today's Barcelona....Barca would have the posession but couldn't break down the defense, their little tiki-taka passing would be useless against the likes of Vieira and Campbell. Cole would spark a counter, Pires brilliance down the wing and a finish by Henry. Arsenal 2 Barcelona 0

I'm not sure if this was the best team ever. They did, after all, lose in the Champions League, in the FA Cup, and in the Carling Cup. Still, very fond memories of that season, Can't believe it's been like 7 years.
@TanoBrati But did you see the way they won the league? They played some of the most beautiful football I've ever seen. And they had the steel to mix it so that they weren't bullied like many teams tried that season. The Brazil 82 team is widely regarded as one of the best football teams ever seen with players like Zico who was an absolute genius. They got knocked out of the world cup that they were favourites to win. Same with Johan Cruyff's Holland which failed to win the 74 world cup.
@TanoBrati Also incase anyone brings up Barcelona in 08/09, there is no way they should have won the champions league. That semi-final against Chelsea that ended with Drogba going mental at the camera, was daylight robbery. Criminal! The amount of decisions that the ref didn't award to Chelsea was staggering. However that Barcelona team will go down in history as one of the greatest ever. Henry has been a key part of two legendary teams. Three, if you include the France of 98-2000. Luck? No
The best team ever? That's stretching it, but objectively its one of the best teams of alltime. An achievement that hadn't been accomplished in 115 years. Over a century!!! Never been done in the modern game. This was not an ordinary team. The genius of Henry and Bergkamp. The brilliance of Pires. Ashley Cole in his atheletic prime. Veira in his prime, one of the best midfielder in the world and a great leader of men with a warrior's heart. I could go on about this team. 49 historic games.
