  • This video is popular on Belmopan

  • you guys should try an ipod like any ipod with a hard drive and see if it spins around in zero gravity, and can you just take the 1 cd player and turn it on and not have the earphones plugged in and see it spin in zero gravity

  • the most amazing video I saw since "rockfishing...the cartoon" Is nasa working now to make a gravitacional unit with that?

  • waste

  • play first track its very diferente them play lasta track CD The spin is very diferente form 1 track to last track CD

  • No, CDs are CAV (constant angular velocity).

  • lol

  • i wonder if the disk inside the ipod would make it spin in the oposite direction...

  • you lost me when you taped 3 together

  • heh... if one day I get to go out in space, I will stick with my Ipod ^^

  • It will still do almost the same thing, because iPods actually use hard drives ( except for the shuffle and the new iPod Touch )

  • take off jack earphone and see CD player will spin it,,

  • Simple, yo no soy astronauta; soy ingeniero. Y no me creo inteligente; no sé de dónde sacas eso. Respirar un poco te haría bien.

  • its not the astronauts job to find a cure for cancer

  • theres oxygen in there right? So sound could travel through the air right? why is the voices on a radio?

  • The dude is demonstrating how gyroscopes work, and using the CD players were perfect examples on how they work. This technology is used on the International Space Station for it's attitude control, so it won't spin out of control while they're in orbit, and also eliminating or minimizing the use of the rocket thrusters used to stabilize a spacecraft as well.

  • I think that could really improve things in space technology.

  • i dont get it? whats so interesting about it? I know it looks cool, but idk.

  • cancer would be great if they could cure it but there are more things to learn about and how to cure cancer is one of manny

  • cancer is killing, and mankind is discovering the effects of a CD Player in the On position in space.

    good job, humanity.

  • This has actual uses in space engeneering.

  • great. so how about that cancer? how about focusing on stuff on earth before discovering CD Players have some kind of gyroscopic stability?

  • ?

So astronauts have to concern about curing cancer... Or you're suggesting that ALL research outside medicine must stop until there are no more diseases around?

  • Two different sciences, yo.

  • Ya nan

  • so this is the kind of stuff they research in space....hmmmm....lets see what happen if we open a box in space too

  • LOL

  • It's very interesting.

  • Thats really cool. Thanks for uploading this :)

  • Bien gastados! Y si amarraban 3 licuadoras?

  • Y APOCO ESO ES LO A LO QUE VAN AL ESPACIO NADAMAS PARA ESA CLASE DE EXPERIMENTOS SE GASTAN MILLONES HASTA MILES DE MILLONES DE DOLARES

  • Pinche mongol

  • interesting...
