6:49 I hadn't really thoguht about it since now, but if you've read the latest chapters of the manga, you'll understand exactly why Byakuya didn't butcher Ichigo while he was standing completely still there, despite having a blade at his throat.

The goddamn reason why ichigo's bankai is so small....Look at his bankai clothes...And look at zangetsu's clothes....a bankai is taking the form of the zanpaktou physical form...So ichigo took over zangetsu's form....but more orange hairness lol xD

@TwistedKRN yes i did. it was one epic fight. but he had to go beyond bankai to defeat aizen. im referring to how the creators of bleach tend to make ichigo use his bankai for basically every fight he encounters after this arc. i just think its ridiculous.

soul society saga was awesome! interesting plot and amazing fights and it all came down to this. this is what you can call epic. but after this they came very very close to ruining the whole series with the bound saga. this is just like what buu saga did to dbz but this time it happened almost at the beginning of the anime. fuck you bounds! fuck you all to the deepest depts of hell!!

I think after this fight Ichigo became slower, it was awesome when he appeared in front of byakuya so fast, but in the other battles his speed is crap

I like this, but I like a different sub a little better. In that one Byakuya says "You're slow, even in falling." It's just a tad bit stronger that way, imo.
