  • @kowz4u my sister has hair down to her lower back and i have my hair halfway down my back. long hair is beautiful bt wen it has shape and has a cut to it and is kept healthy. most women who have this long hair dnt even want to get trims or do treatments. i should know im a hairstylist. and yes guys love long hair bt they like it like in magazines

  • In the military for women you don't have to cut your hair as long as it doesn't touch your collar. You can always wear your hair back in a neat bun, and it doesn't matter if your in training.

  • @zillah67 RIght. Although I was in ROTC in HS out hair couldn't touch the collar I just pin it up. I thank her for srving the country, but I WOULD, WILL, SHALL, SHOULD cut my hair for ANYBODY LMBO

  • Big fucking DEAL!!! im a guy and ihad my hair 36 inches like 8 times growing it and cutting it IT GROWS BACK

  • Camera girl has an annoying ass voice! I want to fucking burn her voice alive!

  • The title is misleading though.

  • do you HAVE TO cut you hair when you go to the navy? what if i dnt want to

  • haha i bet shes growing it back lol

  • correction all branches state that womem cut there hair for the purpose of Bootcamp only then are allowed to grow it back and style it according to there branches rules and regs. alot of women who have ver long hair like that cut it shorter to make it easier for the transition.

  • damn...id have loved to pull on that shit from the back

  • Does anyone know who this girl is? Or anyone in this person's videos for that matter, where are these videos from?

  • Anyone know who these girls are and how these videos get on this channel?

  • im also joining the navy after my graduation. i had no idea females were required to cut their hair until TODAY! D: im gonna miss my hair T.T

  • Im joining the navy after graduation (:

  • wooohh hoooo im joining the navy too!!! lol

  • Would you be willing to sell the braid ?

  • my daughter is going into the navy in a few months, and yes, you do have to cut it..

  • Would she be willing to sell the braid ?

  • you have to cut it in the navy no matter what dik what you're talking about

the only branch that allows long hair is the marine corp

  • Haha my wife did the exact saame thing 2 weeks befor she left

  • To all those who keep saying the title is misleading. The Navy is the only branch that still requires females to cut their hair above the collar for basic training. After wards, your hair may be grown out, as long as it can be kept in a bun or braids.

  • BETTER TO GET IT CUT URSELF RATHER THAN THE NAVY CUT IT FOR YOU, BECAQUSE THEY WILL CUT IT TO WHATEVER LENGTH THEY WISH, IF YOU GET IT CUT URSELF AT LEAST YOU CAN DECIDE WHAT LENGTH YOU WANT

  • why do u have to cut it for the navy??

  • Teazurex3 is correct. In any branch of the armed forces, part of being in uniform is making sure that no part of your hair drapes over, tucks, or rests on the collar of your uniform. The individual standards of your duty station and/or unit may vary on strictness; however, the proper uniform attire is graded how I have done above.

  • In the US Navy, as a recruit you MUST cut your hair so that it does not touch your collar. If you don't cut it, you'll have an ugly butch hair cut, done by the Navy "barbers".

  • It will grow back. thank you for serving . locks of love needs it.it will be easier to tack care of.

  • @kowz4u Eh I dunno. Long hair may be easier since you can just pull it back and it's out of your face whereas short hair is in your face no matter what, I know this is an old comment though... :P

  • no for the navy you have to get it cut at or before basic above the collar....

only the navy requires females to cut hair still...

THATS A FACT IM IN THE NAVY! =]

  • It's only hair

  • that fat chicks face made me roofl xD

  • The navy WILL cut a woman's hair, it will be above the shoulders. But that is just for boot, after that it simply needs to be pulled back and neat.

  • You do have to cut your hair in the NAVY.

  • a cutie and cute stylist love the nervous smiling being tailed love the way the stylist after she started cutting was shaking the tail couple of times to get it out there easy to snip the rest great job good luck

  • Wtf. Girl recordin dis is obese. U ruined it

  • @chocolatepuppy109 wtf does tht have to do with anything?

  • it's only hair, no big deal. Your hair isn't you so get over it

  • she looks better without that ponytail

  • I would know I'm joining the Navy next week; to join the Navy woman ARE required to cut there hair either before Basic Training or once you get there and receive the haircut they choose, chopping it off chin length. The Navy is the only branch of the military that still requires it, it has to be cut so it doesn't touch the bottom of your collar. After Basic you can grow it out as long as you please =)

  • whatever i had my long hair cut for navy bootcamp and after four years i went and got it chopped off again cuz i was tired of putting it in a bun, its not that big of a deal hair grows so fast!!

  • the girl videotaping it is retarded nobody wants to listen to her being stupid in the back

  • they are, however long hair =time to maintain which you dont have much of when serving.

  • It's just hair!

  • Thank you for serving our country!

  • at 0:36 you ccan hear the song "clavado en un bar" by MANA....

  • its pretty short anyway

  • it looks nice shorter - dont worry about a thing :)

  • y do women think long hair with no shape is beautiful??

it luks plain and boring bt its nice that she donated to locks of love

  • if the hair is colour treated then it cannot be donated.

  • @marlenelaflaca because that is the way nature made it. you must be a someone that cuts hair or yours is hacked off. out side of the military they have to cut their hair real women have long hair. I would say most guy's like long hair.

  • i thought in the military girls are allowed to have long hair?

  • @MrCoolguy1094 not in the Navy. Women have to cut their hair up to the collar. Only until after basic can you grow it out and put it up in a bun.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 nope

  • @MrCoolguy1094 you can, but it has to be in a bun.. and if not, i believe it has to be collar length or shorter...Idk.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 They cut it during basic training. After bootcamp they can keep it long.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 after bootcamp it can be long as long as it's kept in regulation but for basic training it must be cut. you don't have to cut it, they cut it for you.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 the Navy is the only branch that cuts all of the females hair, they dont have a choice, but after basic they are allowed to grow it back out

  • @MrCoolguy1094 yes but when you go to bootcamp you have to cut it

  • @MrCoolguy1094

the Navy is the ONLY branch that requires every female to have hair shorter than shoulder length(my sister joined)

Army,Marines,AF allow girls to keep it in a bun

  • @MrCoolguy1094 they are.

  • @volcomzz93

Navy is the only branch of the military that requires women to cut it.

  • @chocolatemama001 Coming from a female formally in the military, the Navy is the only one that forces females to cut their hair because of all the swim quals and the constant back n forth need to put on a helmet for their final challenges. Other branches allow females to bun their hair, since the only time they'd really need to get their hair out of the way is if they're going to the chambers.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 not during bootcamp but afterwards we may but it actually has to be shorter than what they cut it at in the video.

  • They are. But the only military branch that requires women to cut their hair is the Navy, and it's only for boot camp. After that, they are allowed to grow it back out again.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 they have to cut it for boot camp, but only once, after that you can grow it as long as you want

  • @MrCoolguy1094 Not in the Navy you have to have a short bob cut. Your hair can't touch your shirt, so you cut it above there so when in basic the 2 months you hair is growing back, it won't grow to touch ur shirt.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 It has to be above your chin

  • @MrCoolguy1094 THat's after you join and after you finish training. As long as you follow the rules about it ofcourse. But before bootcamp and during you have to have chin length hair the whole time. They'll cut it a few more times during the training.

  • @MrCoolguy1094 Nope. It cannot touch or fall below the collar of their uniform.

  • if that was me i would probly cry lmfao lucky it aint me

  • wow she had nice hair.i thought women can have it long but always have to wear it in a tight bun?

  • omg dude u dont have cut ur hair it was so beautiflu!!! if u took care of it really good!!!! :(((

  • Women are not required to as long as they keep it off their shoulders...Men are required to, but not women...

  • yeah...:(

  • And what position in the Navy did she acquire after this emotional unheaval?

  • it seems that Navy lacks standards !

  • if possible show the full cut

  • She's going into the Navy and she decided to cut it before she did, so she could donate it to Locks of Love.

  • @Feedmeacat Females do have to cut their hair for the navy. Whenever you are a DEP recruit, you are recommended to cut it beforehand because if you wait til boot camp, they don't give a f how it comes out.

  • @Feedmeacat Then it's not really forced..

  • @Feedmeacat so why is the title of the video "forced to cut hair for navy" thats misleading and it's a lie to suggest women have to cut their hair to join the military. I am a former Marine and I was never asked to cut my hair, even though it was long when I joined the armed services.

  • @Feedmeacat just to let you know locks of love is actually a scam...

  • @lerrell123 YES YOU DO. MY SISTER IS IN THE US NAVY

  • Comment removed

  • @lerrell123 yea you do. for bootcamp you do and for schooling and the ship you do. only navy makes you

  • @lerrell123 actually, you do

  • @lerrell123 how the fuck do you know bitch shut your fucking face

  • go fuck yourself thank you@LightParanormal
