  • I tried this but the switch leaks. So I do not recommend to open the switch, just to drill bigger holes which will help the airflow. I dont know how they assemble the switch in Lego, but they have to create an extreme force to push the lever when they glue it.

  • quick question, will this modification work with the other version of switch? cause my switches leaked after modification. PS: i know your website lol

  • HOLY JESUS, your hands are sHaKiE

  • I cut my finger off. Is this suppose to happen or maybe I was just to careless??

  • If you modified your switch and cylinders but also needed a T split in between, would you need to modify that as well to keep the speed?

  • I build a motor to and I want 4 modified switches but I can't open it. can i maybe buy it ? I have 3 switches but i don't now if it the right one.

    ruben.

  • i used this to get my pneumatic locomotive working and now it finally does! Thx a lot!

  • A small tip: Nail clippers are surprisingly effective on legos.

  • @1100lolbroek: No thanks for calling me a liar ;-) It is indeed very difficult to modify a air switch. It can easy result in a valve that is leaking air or one that doesn't move smoothly. As I explain on my techbricks dot nl web site it cost me a couple of valves myself before I had successfully modified them.

  • I know that modified switches leak a bit, but si it possible to modify them without leaking?

  • @Symnogtx : check my techbricks dot nl web site for more info.

  • Is it possible to modify the switches without that they leak, even at 5 bars?

  • Now on your website you say you use a glue that you mix up yourself (for re-sealing teh back plate on) An at 8:31 you say use an Epoxy. Which one do I use?

  • @SpeedyGonZohan : I use epoxy glue. Before glueing you must mix the two components of the glue.

  • Now on your website you say you use a glue you mix up (for re-sealing the back plate) and at 8:31 you say use Epoxy glue. Which one should I use?

  • Do you cut also the pin in order to remove the back plane?

  • @ofcadoneghe : Sure you can, but I alway try not to break ik at all. But that doesn't happen very offen.....

  • @techbricks sometime happen to some people did break them during modify switch

  • show what is the difference

  • @japsujipsu The difference between a LPE with modified switches or without them is this: He runs very fast or he runs poorly or not at all....

  • THANK YOU!! just what i wanted :D
