@kimmbery I have a soft spot for him too, but I don't think he's the mostly forgotten member. From what I see, I don't think it's only us that have a soft spot for him, but the others have soft spots for him too, it's probably just not shown on broadcast. I think, he, himself, just feel distant from them cuz he's the oldest, so whenever he's feeling down he would mainly keep it to himself, but his members know. So that means they all have a soft spot for him too.

@TheFlourescent Minho is the number 1 in being competitive, his members always says so and he says so himself too. Jonghyun, he's not really competitive, but he can be sometimes, but he's more of liking attention from others, than being competitive. But Minho and Jonghyun do seem more like leaders, but Onew is the type of a leader who actually look out for his members/dongsaengs more than himself...so he want them to actually showcase their things too so yeah.
You know what I find amusing? The store keeper Minho, Key, and Onew went to said she would end up closing if she gave them a 3000 won discount, whereas another store keeper Jonghyun and Taemin went to gave them the exact same discount for the hip hop clothing... hmmmmmm... ;P

From what I see, I don't think it's only us that have a soft spot for him, but the others have soft spots for him too, it's probably just not shown on broadcast. I think, he, himself, just feel distant from them cuz he's the oldest, so whenever he's feeling down he would mainly keep it to himself, but his members know. So that means they all have a soft spot for him too.

Jonghyun, he's not really competitive, but he can be sometimes, but he's more of liking attention from others, than being competitive. But Minho and Jonghyun do seem more like leaders, but Onew is the type of a leader who actually look out for his members/dongsaengs more than himself...so he want them to actually showcase their things too so yeah.

I know Onew/Jinki is really happy when people are calling him jinki, since that's the name his parnets gave him, so I guess Onew is the clumsy, funny guy we see on Tv, and Jinki is the caring guy in the dorm that we fans never sees.
Key and Kibum is pretty much the same I think, but Key has a thing on just zooming out, I think it's because he is tierd, so when the others are talking and so on, I think he kinda relaxes

Onew and key may have many similaritis, like they are both verry outspoken, they are not afraid to say what they mean, and they are not afraid of the camera, and they are really good at anwsering for themself.

And also on Love Chaser when Key was chosen to be chased, he was screaming out, "I AM ANGRY!!!"

@Ismaring007 That was the real side of him hahah Jinki is actually the type who can revenge back, but is a really responsible, smart, and caring, AND not that clumsy, however have a very fragile heart, while Onew is more gentle/soft and clumsy, and funny. But yeah, just like what you said, the real Onew and Key actually have similar personality.

@Ismaring007 I'm like Jinki...but yeah, from what I see Jinki is more calm and serious, and not very clumsy, even Key had said on Midnight Star, that the smile we all see on TV, you know like the shy and innocent smiles, he never see that in person. And from what I see, Jinki is kinda like Minho, keeps everything to himself, not good at expressing his feelings, and he seems like a deep thinker too hahah but I'm sure he's really caring and understandable like what his members said,

But then, look again, I'm not sure if this is Onew or Jinki..he's more outspoken and outgoing, and talkative...this is what I hear from his members...and they said, it's when he's in the dorm...so I think it's Jinki. I think I don't know much about Onew either hahah But when I look carefully at all of them, I think Jinki is so much similar to Kibum (not Key).

Eric went first, I think on 2008 or 2009, then he came back 2 years after, then it's Dongwan, I just saw him last year [2011] at the idol championship, Minwoo and Jun Jin, I don't see them yet, but I think Jun Jin went and came back already, since I saw him on 2009 at the Dance Battle. And Andy, I don't see him recently, I saw him last year?..

@Ismaring007 So I think it's probably 2 years. And I heard Shinhwa is coming back this year...so it took 2 years for each and one or two members to come back. Yeah, I just hope nothing change between Shinee, but I have to say Onew/Jinki is good at keeping in contact with his friends...I'm sure they might see each other at the military service hahaha their ages are not so much apart from each other, except Onew and Taemin.

@Ismaring007 oh, how they get selected into groups..as in choosing a boy group?..This, I'm not sure, they were all trainees and they trained together, but I think they were chosen by the company, the company look at each one of the trainees and they seek to see who would be good with who, and what concept they match well with, so I don't think it's a random choosing, they choose who match with which concept and who will go well with each other...that's what I think hahah

@Ismaring007 And yeah, I think Jinki is a quiet and calm person especially when I watch this one clip of him, it was before he became Shinee, I think he was very young at that time, he looked like a very shy, quiet, and calm person and his image before debut was definitely different from Onew, I don't know if you knew this, but before debut, he had piercings on his ear like Jonghyun and Key, but from the pictures I've seen he actually had a lot of friends too just like now..

I guess the others sometimes talks about who he is and all, so they can get to know him better as Onew hahah But for Jinki, I'm sure he would slowly be open up to his members, may not be by words but by actions. @Ismaring007 yes, I knew about Onew being sick. It was the first time, I've ever seen him being missed out such an important event. I feel really bad for him too, but I understand though, cuz he's always busy and it was just too over-working for him.
