How did you record it into an 1280x720 HD? I have the Hauppauge HD-PVR but I don't know how you made the video into 1280x720, because when I record the PS3, it says 720x480. Can you help me what else do I need?

Try to switch your PS3 to 720p or max. 1080i.

The box came with Arcsoft Total Media Extreme, which is for XP & Vista. Maybe there is more info for Macs on the webpages from Hauppauge or Arcsoft...
