haha an elevator. I loved how you noticed small things in the apartment, like, the the lamps being "scaled to size" and the mirror pillars outside. how much did this cost?
I got it on a fluke. Literally one night of the year was running at $1250. That rate will never come around again. Now, once casino management approves it, it can be had for $6000 weeknights, $8000 weekends. Totally bummed about that.
I love America! A duplex is nice bc when you live w someone of the opposite sex for so long it wears on ones psyche...My ideal living situation would be each partner having their own duplex beside one another so they have their own space...and come together on the weekends so they never get tired of eachother...!
Awesome room, beautiful details, gorgeous overall! Your commentary was great, best room tour I've seen so far. Your eye to detail and design is incredible! I want to stay there so badly, and I'm going to Vegas this summer! I hope you do more rooms! Great work
would you say Encore is your favorite hotel room in vegas? I will have to say its mine. What is your favorite or nicest room you've seen besides Encore? If you get a chance, check out the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai, its quite the beauty too.
@piercechan Yeah, for sure. I just stayed in a Wraparound Suite at Cosmopolitan and despite its balconies, Encore is still tops. Nothing matches their fit and finish. As far as standard room go, Mandarin Oriental's are also top notch. Other favorite rooms I've stayed in are Wynn's Fairway Villas. Those just received an incredible renovation, too. Simply stunning.
best room review video ever! your commentary and knowledge of materials was very refreshing. I'm going to try my best to stay at the suite, somehow....
Great Video man! Awesome detail. I share your love of Vegas, half the fun of being there is staying at different hotels and experiencing each one of their individuality and creativeness, hope you make more videos soon keep up the good work!
What an extraordinary room! Now, you mentioned $1250...was that for just one evening? A weekend? Or longer than that? LOL...not that it matters since that room will probably never be that cheap again for me to reserve but I was just curious how long you stayed there for!
@thehartattack86 Literally just the one weeknight since it, at the time, jumped to $5000 the very next night. Now it can't even be had for that much :-(
@WriterSilapaJarun Believe it or not, I never opened every single cabinet door to check, but considering that they did have two different tea sets and gold chopsticks, I'm sure there are pots and pans somewhere. Even if there wasn't, if you'll read in the review, Villa Services can do pretty much anything for you. I'm sure a request for pots and pans is a fairly regular occurrence.
Now THAT is how a suite video should be done! Thanks for really showing everything, Mike. One thing though that I really wanted to see was the showers, I would assume they had rainheads, maybe body sprays, etc. being a suite of this caliber, but that wasn't able to be seen in the video.
@GordonGkko Hard to recall, but I believe it had a high rain head on the wall (not on the ceiling, unfortunately) and a separate douche for those hard to reach spots :-)
@lotsblocks Provided there aren't any ultra high rollers in town and management allows you to book one, you're looking at about $3.5K to $8K per night. Most weeknight are in the $5K range.
I lucked out, though. I booked during the absolute lowest point of the recession for the deadest time of the year 7 months in advance for $1250. Considering that the single story version of this suite never goes under $2K per night, I think it's safe to say the deal I scored will never happen again :-(
@PianoMikeE wow that is amazing. this room is amazing but ite repettitive. i would still prefer the 2 bedroom. this obvioulsy if i had more people but yea your lucky!

does the main lobby have good girth?
wetdave1 4 months ago
@wetdave1 I would say the main entry and foyer combined is about 3500 square feet. So yes, the girth is ridiculous.

@vwgti101 It doesn't. You get use of "villa services" and they have a fleet of 11 Rolls Royce Phantoms on a first come first served basis.

You booked this room from the wynn website?
cpyas123 1 year ago
@cpyas123 No, via telephone. I wouldn't trust booking a room of this caliber via the website. I know, I'm weird.
