  • now im not exactly a genius when it comes to power bands and power ranges and stuff, but since the GSXR has more mid range wouldnt that just mean you'd have to keep the 675 more wound up? thats all? different bikes have different powerbands at different RPMs so i dont think that should make a difference in overall power output. if im wrong, please correct me on this i wana learn =)

  • the winer is the TRIUMPH DAYTONA 675 R! is amazing bike more powerful engine, more lighter, better brakes ( Brembo 4-piston radial mono-block) and very very beautiful!

  • One thing they didn't mention is Suzuki's far superior reliability.

  • @oobeedoob Triumph are right up there with reliability now. I have owned a newish Suzuki and I watched it corrode in front of my eyes. Fantastic engine the rest of the bike is very poor.

  • Daytona <3

  • but my 675R beat both the Gixxer 6 and 750

  • the gsxr 750 would be better than both

  • This review is RUBBISH!

  • So they're comparing how good a bike is with STANDARD tires where the Triumph had better ones? Well thats a very good comparison of the BIKES.....pause..... NOT!!!!

  • I'd rather have the 675R, so that why I bought 1. :-)

  • GSX-R750 >= 675R > GSX-R600

  • Were these guys paid off by Suzuki? I think he's by himself to state that the Suzuki's brakes were better than the Triumph's. And better mid range? Pleeeeeze.

This is perhaps one of the worst and most inaccurate reviews I've seen to date.

MCN you need to be more specific and elaborate a bit more when saying one aspect of a bike is "better" than the other's. Really bad review.

  • gsxr600 has better brakes mate? uuuummm dont think so

  • My mechanical beloved...always my Daytona...

  • Yamaha R6> 675R :-D

  • Style is all personal preference, I own a K9 600 and I LOVE the styling, when you take off the whale dick-looking exhaust and replace with something nicer (AKRAPOVIC FTW) and take the decals off save for the "GSXR" logo on the side it looks VERY sexy. That said I still think the best looking GSXRs are the old SRAD models.

  • Love My Bike!

  • The triumph has a way better torque curve from the time you hit the throttle all the way till you redline. It either increases or stays the same, it does not drop. I love mine and I had a k6 gsxr 1000 before this.

  • daytona 675 rulez on 600cc!!!

  • If only the GSXR had a face I could live with.

  • to bad the Suzuki is god awful ugly! if my ass was formed into the shape of a sports bike it would still look better then the 2011 GSXR

  • thats my bike baby!!

  • better brakes!!!!

  • 600 four has more midrange than a 675 triple? better roll-on? wow what a load of bull

  • @joe2d Yeah I really don't believe it for a second either. I've ridden a 675 for a couple months and there's just no way you're going to convince me any 600 I4 is going to come close for midrange or roll on.

  • great video

  • a il4 600 has more midrange the a 675 triple..ok...

i swear bike jurno's are the most inconsistent people on the planet, one year a bike is amazing and flawless, then a new bike comes out and all of a sudden the same flawless bike has a million things wrong with it

  • The 675 is "arguably better looking"?

Combine this with his hideous jacket and it would seem to confirm that his sense of good taste is broken.

  • 1 second faster with better tires... wow... (sarcastic)

  • 675R>GSXR 600

  • Put them on the exact same tires and the suzuki will not be far behind if not faster... Being the cheapest, there's prolly more than enough money left over for a set of supercorsas

  • the hell did he say?

  • Get a hair cut

  • ...the 600 has better midrange than the 675?

    Say it isn't so!

I can tell you my S3R has got waaaay better midrange than any 600 I ever rode. They did redo the valves, cams etc for that, but with 20 more HP and higher peak torque, the Daytona is WORSE?

    Kinda shocked.

  • @aluisious This goes to show that they are not always biased toward the Triumphs. I ride a 955i but I sold Suzukis, I am not a track guy but would still take the 675 :)

  • how is it triumph can build such beautiful bikes only to clad them in the worst decals ever designed?

  • who is the winner??

  • Finally, a half decent video!

  • Triumph...simply the best!!! I <3 Triumph

  • Few things, He says the triumph has better tires, what does that matter you can buy different tires and put them on, does he mean stock they do???0:17

and does it come with those brembo and ohlins stock???1:03

    thanks lolol

  • @IzzualYamakawa i think he means better tyres on both bikes cause its on the track

  • @IzzualYamakawa Yes and Yes. They both used stock tyres and he said the Triumphs are better...I don't know the facts..so. But yeah the Triumph comes standard with Brembo and Ohlins because it's the "R" model. It's a nice bike..saw one in the flesh but I think it's pretty much more expensive if I recall, than then competition...so they don't give you that stuff for free. ;)

  • The new Gixxers stats and performance are rapable, but the looks.. Ugh, you'd have to pay me to do that shit. :) K6-K7 !

  • got any jobs as roadtesters? lol

  • So what about the brand spanking new Honda CBR600F?...

  • The new gixxer is fantastic.....i wonder what the price is

  • nice review, i'm surprised that suzuki is better at roll-on because 3cyl has more torque

    must be to the gearing

  • im drooling...

  • I just love the look and stance of the ZX6R... And honestly, you won't really tell a fraction of a seconds of a difference riding on the road around town.

  • Love that Dianese Tattoo leather suit!!

  • i am suprises the 4cyl is better on the streets than the 3cyl.

  • @VVoodstockRider -- LOL! Hey, i said daytona. Not speed triple. hehehehehe... :-)

  • So how are they BOTH quicker on the brakes?????? 1:25

  • wow...no windnoise :D

  • I know thats a very expensive Dainese 1 piece but its is soooo Gay!!!! ;-) only kidding Chad!

  • is there a new policy for your videos?

    no longer than 2 minutes

  • @GOBbluthagain it is more than 2 minutes, its 2 minutes and 13 seconds...UNLUCKY!!!

  • Triumph usually has the best tires mounted as stock... That's probably where that extra second came from.

  • @ZZRgirl11 Agreed. All my Japanese bikes have had crap stock tires. We all switch for a good reason.

  • I wish they would have wen't into more detail about what was so bad about the triumph as a day to day bike.

  • This is a joke! Ofcourse SUZUKI Gixxer will dominate the DAYTONA 24/7!

  • @rheaMDC21 well it seems that as far as outright sportbike riding/track use goes, the 675r kicks the gsxrs ass! dont forget -1sec /lap for a full race could be half the lap at the finish...lol

  • @6488ott Both bikes have got to be on equal tires for a fair comparo.

  • @E46MRider Why? thats what the manufacturers stumped up for-so thats a fair test. Ok, when you come to change your tyres you have a free choice but otherwise your going to have to ditch perfectly good tyres to change. Also, how much of those lap times were down to the 675rs better suspension? are you gonna stump up to change them to?

  • Euro motorcycle plates are ridiculous. It looks like they have a serving plate stuck to the back of the bike.

  • American number plates are tiny!

    Cant read them.

  • @jellyking12345 why do you care to read them? :p

  • Thats what they are there for.....

  • @jellyking12345 for you to read? I don't think that's the case or we'd made them easier for you to do so.

  • Like us in Europe then?

    One step ahead of you!

  • @jellyking12345 Are you fucking with me? You are not saying contrary points.

US plates are perfectly readable to anyone who needs to read them, which according to this ven diagram I just drew up doesn't include you.

I'll agree that the EU plates are better looking and cleaner but having 2 rows of chars on bikes is a bit overboard. Unless there are more than 60 million (36^5) bikes on the same system then I could see the need, but they are still large. The US ones are a better size for sure.

  • @postiez 36^5? can you explain that number lol

  • @BKingAndy that means 36 in the power of five which means : 36 * 36 *36 *36 *36

  • @Tsoglani55 lol i know that its 36 * 36 * 36 * 36 * 36, but that wasnt my question, but thx anyway buddy, you proofed your school knowledge ^^

  • Oh dear, calm the poo down!

I think you got the wrong impression, i dont just wonder around staring at number plates as a hobby lol.

Yes i agree ours look better, and yours are a better size.... so make ours smaller and we will have the best plates in the world :)

  • All of these new bikes are good. Even a good rider can't push these bikes to there limit so I don't see the point of the test.

  • They did a good job when a 600cc 4cyl beats a 675 3cyl on mid end and roll-on..!

  • if suzuki doesnt bring back the GSXR to World Supersport series, i'll kill myself!

  • okay dear Suzuki..

Why do you bring out suchhh a great bike, which beats pretty much every other 600cc

then why for christ sake is the design fo freaking ugly? bring back the k6 / k7

  • @MrFlyahh i loved that front more too!! the eagle like headlights were fucking beautiful!!

  • @MrFlyahh you'll appreciate the design in a few years...they don't want to shock you with they have in mind, so they will trend that way (to their vision) every redesign.

  • @MrFlyahh

Ahh they can't help it, like all Japanese machinery, they're well engineered and brilliant what they're designed to do but ultimately a bit souless

  • @MrFlyahh

Because an idiot will never understand form over function

  • @MrFlyahh Bring back the K1 design IMO, so gorgeous.

  • @MrFlyahh Is not so much as the design, but the color scheme. If you have Photoshop and play around with it you will see what I mean.

  • @shagy2k5 the headlight and exhaust are the parts that annoy me the most, the k6 is by far the best looking suzuki ever made

  • @MrFlyahh K6 and K7?! You know, design is always an individual thing, but the K6 and K7 were the ugliest GSX-Rs ever build! The new Gixer is again a bike one can look at. Sorry, but that's the way I see it.

  • @Nonicknameleftforme I really think K6/7 were the best looking ones. Better than the k5 and earlier models, finally had this sharp & quick & slim look :)

  • @Kamkuru1 But what about the ugly exhausts? If you can call it that when looks like a laser weapon from Star Trek. :(

  • @Nonicknameleftforme Haha, i like the small look, i got a longer exhaust on mine though, custom. kind of like a laser x-treme look, but than longer and better sound. I'll post a vid on sunday. remind me

  • where is the R6

  • @FAHAD6612 The suzuki won the group test (against r6 cbr zx6r) so there comparing it to the new triumph..

  • もっと走ってるシーンを見たかった。

  • I just now fell on your site and find it very informative and impartial thank you very much ,liked and subscribed and hope many more will see what i did ,in the seat testing real world driving and the show isn't about the hosts ,the hosts here are the Bikes ,well done = )

  • WOW, the Triumph sounds very good even with the Stock Exhaust!

  • @supersayin1 Like 1/4 of a V12 supercar!

  • @gpzDave Very true!

  • Comment removed

  • @anteracmacash Because we already tested the GSX-R600 against all the other supersport 600s.

  • @motorcyclenewsdotcom it dosen't need to be compared in order to be tested...

  • @motorcyclenewsdotcom did you make a video of it mate.by the way great videos

  • In the real world the Suzuki looks like shit.....
