@xHayleySpringallx final fantasy 7 and 8 are definally worth playing, The one thing i hated about f10 is that it felt like it was just moving u thru one screen to the next, it never really felt openended like ok im near the end, let me just go anywhere i want on the map now, ff10 just had like a invisible person saying go this way and keep going... dont look back... nope keep going. FF7 was very epic in its time, still seems epic to me but dont know how u would feel since u played ff9+ games.

I loved FF10 but I think besides the obvious reasons why I like FF7 better is cuz FF7 gave u more freedom on where u WANT to go and not where u HAVE to go. FF10 sort of forced u to go from one screen to another and only in one direction, U couldnt just do what u wanted for the most part. FF10 was too linear and thats one of its few flaws in the game.

I did like it) But the other FFs deserve the same attention 7 gets. Hell, FF9 is highly underrated and DESERVES the same attention since a lot of fans don't care about it and care so much about 7 from what I've seen. That game was one of the best ones I played and less fans like me care about it. It's sad but it's the truth.

@lotlat I wouldnt say final fantasy X has the best storyline of all time, It's good but not the best best... plus for the best game in the world, I reserve Chrono Trigger as the best game in the world. The only thing that final fantasy X has on chrono trigger is the graphics since its on a more advanced console, but storywise and gameplaywise, and music, chrono trigger is better. Final fantasy 7 and 10 are still my favorite so im not saying its bad or anything, just not the best.

The first final fantasy i played and my all time favorite is final fantasy 9. My brothers first and favorite part was 7, which comes to second place on my list. I learned to love and play this game over and over because i always watched my brother play when i was younger and got excited when i was old enough to play the game myself. It was also the first time i played on a playstation. :D Brings back such good memories... I did not like ff 8 that much but i did liked FFX.

This is my favorite ff. This and ff 12 were awsome ps2 games. I loved this game a lot more though. It's voice acting gameplay storyline it's just all the best. I've never been conected to the characters like this with any other game. And ff 12's battle system kept me hooked. And the judges were very fun to fight.

I think people are too critical of the last few games, although personally I haven't played FF13, what from I've seen of it it doesn't look bad at all, and I liked F12.

I just think people don't like change, the reason Final Fantasy became so big was because it changed constantly, sometimes people don't really like that but I've always rated FF games based on the fundamentals, story, music, gameplay and replayability and in those instances Final Fantasy is still going strong.
