I think it's a while til Riz is presenting Newsnight... Do the BBC think that everyone watching the news at "teatime" is stupid and not interested in detail and proper interrogative journalism? All that's happening here is the interviewer wants to ask her set of questions. Rubbish. The most gruelling aspect she can pummel Boris on is the issue he raised that morning on Radio4. In the end she won't let him answer - because when he does he's "interrupting" her and the "direction" of the interview.

The BBC is funded by the Government and although they're supposed to be neutral, I think this clip clearly shows that they are not. Why wouldn't the presenter just let Boris finish any valid point he was trying to make. I want to know the full extent of his point, not what is suitable to the BBC.

I really wish people would give Johnson a chance, he may not be the best person for the job, but I'd have anyone over Ken Livingstone. However, I have warmed to Boris considerably.
