the mac computers are worth the money u pay for it, i rather spend $3000 for a mac that will last at least 5 years than buying a new pc every 6 months
@ArtyomZakharenko u are right, its worth it to spend money on an apple product if u can afford it and like it. BUT, i dont know any person that buys a new PC every 6 months.
@animekid200 I respectfully disagree. Using both daily, literally side by side, for me personally, I find OSX far more productive to use and the UI is a lot more streamlined than in Windows. The new task bar is a nice improvement over the old one since 3.11, but it's not quite the same paradigm as the Dock so it's unfair to really compare them to be honest. They both do what they're designed to do very well. Games only get made for Windows because it has more users. SImple as.

When Apple offer a 4Ghz quad core machine with 8GB of RAM and two ATI Radeon 4890s for £1,000, I'll be interested. Until then, I'll stick to my fire breathing Windows box.
I'll tolerate a slightly less efficient OS because the hardware is powerful enough to balance it. However... If Apple would let me run OSX on this rig... THEN I may just consider switching teams.
"slight edge" i will not pay over £1000 for a pc when i can get a windows 7 pc for £500-£600 which runs better. and i know it does run better than most macs because i have tested my machine to a similarly speedy mac. and i used to be a mac fan boy! windows xp was awesome vista sucked so i went to apple. win7 has bought back Microsoft. new CEO new Awesomeness.

@000another000 Very true. With OS X 10 you can see the improvements in desgin and functionality. I have never ever seen windows have anything knew to bring to the table. What leaps in technology and desgin have they made. I'm not a Apple fanboy but you really have to give credit when it is due. Apple Evolve, Windows Recycles.

simple physics really. at the end of the day there both computers. and function as any other computer would. only differences is are price ranges.
Mac makes it hardware so that there are less problems. If you have a million different combinations of hardware that people use, in the long run you will fail.

You forgot to mention that Windows:
Can play waay more games, moslty thanks to MICROSOFT'S DirectX.
UI features are far more handy, and usable than OSX UI features.
The Taskbar is much better than the Dock, because it's not a clone, it's an improvement.
