A little under a month ago, I payed my respects to Peter, Sue and Christine Hanson who were killed on United 175, by visiting their memorial in Groton, Massachusetts. They are people I think about every day. I often watch this part with the planes taking off on 9/11 and while the hijackers are on the phone, I see a little girl getting helped put her plane seat belt on. When seeing that, I wonder, is that suppose to be Christine Hanson??? (Or is it another kid killed that day?)

It was literally every combustible material in the floors that were on fire-carpet, desks, chairs, false ceiling tiles-all fed by high winds at 1000 feet pouring in through shattered windows. That type of environment could easily generate a 1000+ degree fire, and at 1300 degrees (I think) steel loses 50% of its load bearing capacity.
Demolition would have dropped the buildings immediately. Plane impacts caused progressive collapse.

A little under a month ago, I payed my respects to Peter, Sue and Christine Hanson who were killed on United 175, by visiting their memorial in Groton, Massachusetts. They are people I think about every day. I often watch this part with the planes taking off on 9/11 and while the hijackers are on the phone, I see a little girl getting helped put her plane seat belt on. It was literally every combustible material in the floors that were on fire-carpet, desks, chairs, false ceiling tiles-all fed by high winds at 1000 feet pouring in through shattered windows. That type of environment could easily generate a 1000+ degree fire, and at 1300 degrees (I think) steel loses 50% of its load bearing capacity.
Demolition would have dropped the buildings immediately. Plane impacts caused progressive collapse.

So yes, it is entirely believable that the fire in the WTC was solely responsible for the progressive collapse that took place.
As for that FLIR footage: irrelevant. The damage was done once the fire topped 1000 degrees.

Right, because everyone knows if you want a skyscraper to collapse starting at the 95th floor, it's important to smash a 747 into the 95th floor. How could any engineer ever forget that principle, a plane will slice through the steel columns of every floor beneath it and above it, also demolishing all of the material resistance in between, allowing the building to fall at near free fall speed.
