  • @707oogeegee707 Oh jeez, I don't remember. I didn't save the names of the caterpillars when I made this. You could browse the archives at whatsthatbug but that'd probably take a while... Sorry!

  • beautiful!

  • Some of these looks like Pokémons 8D

  • Nice customized caterpillars

  • Never heard the music but thought it had a familiar feel...

Then I read it's from Super Paper Mario. I played the other ones and they made up a lot of happier times in mah childhood. I never got to play Super Paper Mario though...

  • @ASleeplessWolf SPM is pretty good. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first two but I still think it's a quality game.

  • first one makes silk, there all over the trees in my school...

  • 2:11 SNAKE CATERPILLAR!

  • The very first cati showed I remember from my childhood in south Texas. Been like 30 years ago so maybe I'm not recalling, but those mother fuckers stung.

  • I used to have a pet catapiler lik one at 1:47 sigh my mom realeased him into the forest an the next day he came back into my hands looking vary :3 sigh then he left

  • The one at 1:47 was cute! :D I had one of those crawl all over me... I broke out. D; I had hives everywhere! Not fun... but still cute. :3

They look delicious... I wonder if you could eat some of them. :]

  • I have an eastern tent caterpillar and now it's a moth. I should release it by now.

  • i had 6 and theyre all cocooned. how long does it take for them to transform?

  • Usually around 2-3 weeks, my moths died because it only lasts less than 1 week.

  • And 1:46 is a Wollybear...

  • i mean 1:22 Morning Cloak

  • 1:43 Hickory Horned Devil 1:25 Morning Cloak

  • this world is full of weird things isnt it

  • ive seen the orange and black ones by my house :D

  • Yeah! They come in black and light green, too! I was playing with a green one in my back yard. It was quite content eating a flower petal on my hand. 3 inches long is quite the caterpillar!

It'll turn into a White-lined sphinx moth, aka the Hummingbird moth

  • wait, XD It's late and I'm sleepy.

Which orange and black ones?? XD

I was talking about the one at 0:14

    what kind are those?

like will they be this beautifull thing after they change or is it going to be this lke moth thing.... not a big fan of those...

    HELP TY

  • I wouldn't know. The majority of butterfly/moth species are known only for the adult, or in some cases just the caterpillar. Only a few of the most popular butterflies/moths are easily identified at BOTH stages of living (the monarch is one).

Your best bet is to just wait and see - who knows what you'll get! =D

  • i found out, its th epainted lady, =)

  • Umm... You showed the same picture twice. 1:00 and 1:56.

But, it's a great slideshow~ I personally love caterpillars for their uniqueness and the music fits perfectly!

  • 1:25 LOL

  • never mind the stupid timer wont go to the right clip :( its the fuzzy orange black one

  • oh you meen a fuzzy wuzzy

    1:25 is so ADORABLE! X3

  • Yuckk 0:54

  • guys i find alot of the catepillers at 1:46 in my backyard does anyone know what there called

  • Well, I'm guessing the 1:46 caterpillar is a Hickory Horned Devil, that turns into a Regal Moth.

They're normally green, but the rest of the traits point to it being an HHD.

  • 1st one looks like it has weed on it

  • I could tell you all of them but it will not allow.

  • isnt this music on super paper mario for the wii? xD

  • what is the name of the worm(?) at 1:52?

    it looks like autumn leaf

  • the one at 1:53 seconds is WIERD!!!

  • i bet the more stranger ones turn into the most beautiful butterflies.

  • 50 scared me like shit

  • 0.50 they look like milk snakes lol

  • lol at 0.28 and wtf at 0.37?

  • eek i goose bumps just lookin at it

  • those are the most exotic catterpillars i ever seen :O although its is a nice vidieo :)

  • At 1:49 Those are the 1 of 2 caterpillars I have ever seen

  • something about caterpillars freaks me out more than spiders.

  • these are just the ugliest things around! ICKS!!! I can't understand how people even dare touch them! I'd rather die than have one of these guys crawl up my arm!!!!! YUCKY YUCKS! but i dont mind butterflies tho! :)))

  • If you don't like these, you don't like butterflies.

  • caterpillars are beautiful creatures.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • ne voglio uno..sn così carini

  • very nice compilation of caterpillars they are beutiful

  • i have a Wooly Bear looking one as a kinda pet ( i am just waiting till they change to butterflies, so my cats will not eat them! lol) u know what it's name is? Other than wooly bear? they look the same, but have a diff. name...

  • this song is from : super paper mario!:

  • 1:48 is just a Wooly Bear, thousands of them in Vancouver BC during the summer... dont pick them up or they crap yellowish-green stuff on you. Good vid though

  • I have one as a pet right now. It has a dark purple body, black hair, and is about 3/4 of an inch long. Do you know what it is?

  • 1. There was music?

    2. I missed a picture of a Caligo caterpillar.

    3. 1:50 was an alien or octopus. :D

    4. Nice vid ;)

  • the last one looked like a snake to me

  • That's the idea. That caterpillar hangs out in trees, and when a bird approaches the caterpillar inflates its butt to look like a snake head, then wiggles its butt at the bird to scare it away.

  • 1:28 is creepy!

  • 1:50's caterpillar doesnt look like a caterpillar at all. it looks like a killed caterpillar lol!

  • woolly bears are my favorites...nice pics.

  • Yeah but they sure sting! Be careful of the woolly bears though. My friend learned the hard way!

  • Woolys don't sting. I kept some as pets.

  • Oh! I must be thinking of another caterpiller that stings! You can keep them as pets? I didn't know that!

  • Great collection.

  • You lover of insects you.

  • I LOL'd at 1:26 :-D Neat critters, these. Also love the music and the game it's from.

  • You and your bugs. <_<
