There is a reason planned parenthood keeps their medical care confidential: most parents would be upset but forgiving, but a few wouldn't, and their anger can cause a serious risk to the daughter. It's more important that the daughter has a relationship with her parents where she can tell them herself than it is for the state to tell them. Or at least that's what i say. And i'm not gonna touch the abortion issue.

And many teenage girls are in relationships when they become pregnant. To become pregnant is actually harder than you think. The window of opportunity is very small, only a day or two in fact. So if you get pregnant from one sexual encounter then you're extremely unlucky. So a lot of the time these kids are having sex with the same person, usually their boyfriends.

I also hate how this video is about the girl being "seduced" or "violated". These girls are choosing to have sex, no matter what age. They're choosing because they haven't been given a proper education about sex so they are extremely curious. Plus a lot of teenagers feel pressure to have sex, because "everybody" is doing it.

Somebodysangel, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. A LOT of young teenage girls don't know about contraception, or the morning after pill. That's because they may have only been taught how to abstain from sex.

So really, a lot of the time it's the government and the parents fault or not teaching these kids how to protect themselves. A lot of kids won't abstain from sex.

I'd also like to point out that a lot of "christian" owned pharmacies don't want to give girls the morning after pill and sometimes deny them as they say it's against their beliefs.

Same goes for catholic hospitals that won't supply the morning after pill to rape victims because it's a contraceptive.

Statutory rape doesn't always mean an older man has had sex with a person under the age of 18. At least in MY country, if the girl is under the age of 16 (the age of consent here) and a teenage boy is also under the age of 16... it is STILL considered statutory rape. "fetus" is latin for "young one", or "offspring", as "adolescent" is to "teenager". They're medical terms to describe stages in the whole spectrum of human life. A teenager is a person as much as a fetus is.

You can find the definition for 'person' in any dictionary. The unborn young human being meets all the criteria for person. It's the law that needs to be changed.
