I feared for your life when you were circling yourself with the heli and took a few steps back. I fly as well and know just how badly those blades can cut you open. Thanks for posting I love these videos, Have fun!
hey man your good!! .....except the last secound or two...lol i have a madhawk 300 and every crash is at least 3 parts (that i cant get in america) are the eflights a little tougher?
Nice flying man. I especially was impressed with your flying between the lamp post and tree...nice precision. Did you use training gear at all when you first started or just the simulator?
my blade cp + just keeps shaking like none other i have checked the spindle the main gear shaft they fly bar the blades every thing i just cant figure it out any ideas?
@mowbo75 try checking the free play at the rotor head (i.e. how much side to side free play the fly bar has) a lose rotor head at the center hub makes my bird do a strange tidder/todder when in flight.
never fly trying to follow it around like that keep it in front at all times no need to be dancing around and controlling it thats what happens..... CP Pro and Pro 2 are better and more stable than CP+
ok,you fly really well. how long did it take you and did you use a flight sim. or just practice alot. I have 2 cp pro and 1 cp and hovering is a challenge for me right now
I used a sim to learn how to hover. About 7 hours' practice just doing tail-in on the sim and I had it down in real life. Then just practice, practice, practice. I had been flying the CP for about 7 months in this video.
I have one too. I´m a beginner nice Heli but you´ll need some space... I fly it in my living room, well it can fly there but some times the Heli crashes parts of my body and that HURTS... me but the heli dosn´t break...
You really have no choice but to purchase a CP Pro 2, since the original ones are discontinued unless you purchase a new one.
but to answer it, yes. It is better because it has a 2.4Ghz radio instead of a 72 Mhz radio. It also has a head lock gyro in it which makes it more stable.
that was really goo i have one with a lio battery i think it's cake to fly. with that POS NiMH battery that comes with it i think that is a pain in the ass but great vid. and u never get good unless you crash ounce and a while!
You may be able to fly that (although you did crash - and almost 3 years has passed!) but that was also DANGEROUS flying. You wouldn't get away with that on a Blade 400 that close to your face. Keep it in fron tof you man... you may already!
this thing is the hardest friggin thing to fly! dont let those hobby shop dorks make you by a coaxial heli telling you its the same principle as the single blade, thats pure grade A bullshit, i got suckered into the AX EX, now i cant even get the damn CP+ to hover the thing is so sensitive.
Good advice if one can afford the T-Rex. I stopped flying my BCP after getting a T-Rex. For me it was more expensive to fly with BCP as I crash a lot with it and rarely crash with the T-Rex. Could never quite get the hang of flying the Blade CP.
Wow nice flying there. I have a Trex SE V2 myself and it's my first heli, just getting into the hobby. I saw a blade cp pro for sale for 80 bucks at feild last night, and this video makes me want to get it more.
get a battery indicator with alarm, so that when it becomes low, the alarm will trigger. You can get one for less than $10 on ebay. Get the smallest one, no need to add more weight
Great flying! (except for the end). But I have to applaud the camera person too. Even though she said she was "not that talented", I disagree! You did an EXcellent job, AND watched out for cars too! Great vid.
I just got a blade 400 3d and I have wrecked it every time it has taken off. I am at about $75 in spare parts now including 2 new servos. Cant wait until I can fly it like that.
yea i can hover with the tail pointing to my face. but before tht, i had to replace, the main blades, the gear thing for my tail, the bearings. : ( But its going relly well. I cant wait until i can fly like u. and thanks for all ur help.
Oh. Thanks alot. I was afraid it was a defect. I guess it was since i couldnt get it off the groud too much cause i got it yesterday. :) BTW AWESOME FLYING.
Thanks, man. Be patient and disciplined and you'll break fewer parts. Take it slow, don't leave the ground for several battery packs, and learn how to hover tail-in before you do anything else!!
My blade CP has an issue i think. When I add a little power to the helicopter and when i go completely up on the left side of the transmitter, the blades seem to kinda go northwest. When i go down on the left of the transmitter, it goes South east and so fourth. Is this normal and does urs do tht also?
i have me an mini rc reflex. i learned the hard way when i didnt trim it before i flew it. then when i flew it i hit something and a dang piece of prop flew off. i found it 10 min later. nice flying btw! :)
Heh, Yeah, I have a blade CP Pro, first flight... crash, second flight, crash, third flight crash... and then my tail rotor snapped in half... lol, good flying btw! And yes, Eflites are hard to control, get yourself a trek, they are alot more durable as I find.
Stock motor with 10-tooth pinion, stock 4-in-1, 3s Thunder Power 1320 pack (too heavy, fly with the 730 mah packs, not the 1320!), and my Futaba 9CAP radio with -10,-5,0-+5,+10 revo mixing enabled. That's the best setup!
370 brushed, same as CP2. Don't recall the headspeed, but it's fine. Keep in mind I live at 5000 feet above sea level, so the air's a little thinner, but I'd try the 10-tooth and check your battery and motor temperature with a $12 Harbor Freight infrared temperature gauge.
Obviously, you've not seen a blade strike someone. Those blades cut arms, legs, and necks open really easily. Irresponsible flying, no matter the skill involved.
Yeah she got you crashing your toy...Good flying..dude don't be a dumb ass and fly that thing so close to your head/body...I know a guy that got this neck cut open doing that shit...
almost hit your self. Just like me yesterday when i was flying. Today i was flying in the tenis court and some wind blew my poor little blade and it slamed to the concrete. Nice flying man
Hey do you give flying lessons by any chance? (I'll get landing lessons from someone else of course lol) I just ordered one of these and wanted to see what it can do. I'm glad I did now. Very impressive flight man! (Disregarding the landing) Thumbs up on that one!
Like they say "it's not the flight...it's the landing that counts" :)
Great skill! I've got an MX400Pro and a BCP. I haven't flown the BCP in about a year...and I'm too scared to transition to good FF on the MX400Pro. I'm going to dust off my BCP and start flying it as my primary again! Thanks for showing us what a BCP can do!
Best thing I can recommend to anyone that thinks they can do this, is get a RealFlight G3 simulator first. I've spent that much in parts. I couldn't hover after a week of torture, until I got the simulator. This is great work. But you'll want to practice first (sorry).
Your actually one of the smart ones that buy these little micro helis. You dont GO OUT AND FLIP IT OVER AND CRASH IT OUT OF THE BOX!!! (Those of you you know who you are...) lol very nice flying. I'm glad that there is at least one sane person with a helicopter on youtube! lol
wow, that was one of the best blade CP flight vids i have ever seen! Very impressive! Congratulations, you have now graduated. Pls proceed to a T-Rex next. I would love to see you do that with a T-Rex. That would make a great vid as well. Cheers and Happy Flying! :)
good future rc heli, pilot, bad BCP is the worst 6 channel or 3d heli,in market they break alot, weak poor quality,(under develp) people waste money upgrading the scrap heli,
My favorite vid on the Blade CP pro to date. That's the way it should be flown. I have two and I'm still in hover stages. Seeing your vid gave me chills lol. I love the way you hovered it around you while nose in lol that's hot. That's my goal for now. Of course nose in hover too =/. Great vid, hope it didn't get too scuffed up at the end. Laterz man.
So do you have a g90 on there? Noticed that you are using a 10T pinion. Mine has a G90 and it just isn't doing its job. When coming out of FF it does a 90 deg turn. Is that why you are using the 10T?
That bad boy was bone-stock with a bit of Revo mixing (rudder-to-throttle mix) so that when I blasted the throttle the tail RPM's would increase as well.
Excellent flying O'l chap, I loved the way you chased the car down the street!! I'm happy with just getting my machine to hover, let alone go pursuing vehicles etc!!
omg man you're so crazy that was freaky jejejee you are great! how many time you have with the blade cp? i have a honey bee cp2 and it's the samething helicopter
Thanks, man! That was after flying for 6 months. I had probably 60 crashes by that point!! I'm flying it upside-down now...good luck and happy flying!
I got an ESKY honeybee CP2 at WRAM show 2005. Impressive flights and flying times. Later that year. Blade CP came out; it's the exact same heli, same prices. ESKY is cheaper, 'cause you get a li-poly battery, for more power and 12-minute flights. Wram show 2007 I picked up a .30 size, all buit, all metal, ESKY ESMART with big-ass brushless motor. WOW!
I see that it was windy to begin with and you were flying the Hell our of your CP!!!! I just crashed mine! You give me hope! By the way....going around the pole between that and bushes was just insane....then you did it the opposite way! Wow....awesome flying! Hat's off to YOU!
Thanks, guys! I've been crashing a LOT in the 6 months I've been flying, so the compliments are great! I'll keep pushing the limits and posting the results!!!!
wow u are a great flyer, and the crash it happens to everyone, how long have you been flying i just started and can hover perfectly and some foward and tuning flight.
Good flying! You make flying what is probably the most unstable micro heli look easy. Kudos to the camerwoman too. Amusing whimpers to get off the lens haha. But good cam work.
Sweet video man! you look really good with your heli. How long have you been flying for?

Everything I did in this vid can be done in normal mode. Stunt mode helps a bit in the wind, but as long as it's upright normal mode works fine.

I needed the 10t for the thin air up here in CO.

Excellent flying O'l chap, I loved the way you chased the car down the street!! I'm happy with just getting my machine to hover, let alone go pursuing vehicles etc!!
Keep up the good work!!

omg man you're so crazy that was freaky jejejee you are great! how many time you have with the blade cp? i have a honey bee cp2 and it's the samething helicopter
mcirving 5 years ago
Thanks, man! That was after flying for 6 months. I had probably 60 crashes by that point!! I'm flying it upside-down now...good luck and happy flying!

I got an ESKY honeybee CP2 at WRAM show 2005. Impressive flights and flying times. Later that year. Blade CP came out; it's the exact same heli, same prices. ESKY is cheaper, 'cause you get a li-poly battery, for more power and 12-minute flights. Wram show 2007 I picked up a .30 size, all buit, all metal, ESKY ESMART with big-ass brushless motor. WOW!

Good flying! You make flying what is probably the most unstable micro heli look easy. Kudos to the camerwoman too. Amusing whimpers to get off the lens haha. But good cam work.
