@Avatar610 It is reported that not only did Perry Como see it, he thought it was hilarious, and toyed with the idea of doing such a bit himself at some point. He was glad for the tribute and had a good self-effacing sense of humour by all accounts.
Priceless. The total number of (supurb) characters this group did must be in the thousands. Not only do they look like whoever they're impersonating, but at times I wouldn't know who they were.
After seeing this skit, from then on I always thought of him as "Perry COMA"! I wonder if the real Perry saw it.....

Just realized that 'Civic Arena' is probably another one of the MANY little Pittsburgh references that Joe Flaherty snuck in.

Yeah: I think I mentioned that when I sent you the video. And don't bother to say "thank you." You're very welcome.

This is one of Eugene Levy's best roles ("I love to BOGEY"--LMFAO!!).
The Juul Haalmeyer dancers are SO AWESOME!!! Juul was actually the costume dude on SCTV, and they eventually worked him into several skits.
"I thought tonight's show was a little up-tempo." Classic SCTV.
Thanks for posting this--you RULE!! :)
