No one noticed the biggest mistake of the whole movie. It annoyed the crap out of me for the whole last third of the movie first time I watched it.

Harvey Dent has the skin on half his face burned off. With no other half to his lips, how does he pronounce 'B', 'M', 'P' or 'V' properly?

the 9th mistake wasn't a mistake he swings to throw as he doesn't have a free hand and when the rotation is full the gun aims at the other guy so that he doesn't try anything and when he swings it looks like the opposite

But these sorts of mistakes are very very difficult to spot you would have to really study the screen inch to inch to be able to spot these mistakes so its not such a big deal but LOL the camera crew being in shown in the mirrors or windows is always an old movie mistake its been happening for years.

I'll just point out another mistake that I saw whilst watching this movie. When they go in to interrogate Joker, the supposed metal door slams shut behind them, but if you watch closely, it re-opens before the camera switches angles.

I love the Dark Knight, but there's a major plot flaw when Batman takes fingerprints from the "fired bullet." He actually takes fingerprints from the casing, which makes sense because someone had to load it into the clip. However, guns don't fire casings... :(

It makes me wonder how many action film directors have actually fired a gun. :\

Believe it or not, you gotta do this sort of thing if you want to be a grade-A cinematographer. If the people who edited the movie together piece by piece weren't this anally retentive when choosing over the multiple takes, the mistakes would be more numerous and more obvious.

If you think about it, you can actually come to a reasonable conclusion about why they chose the particular take they did, assuming they knew the mistake was in there (which they usually do).
