This is dumb, first off there is no foot inside the skates and if there was the skates wouldnt move like that. Second of all s15's are way lighter than the one95's

While the Easton obviously has a slightly faster puck hit (looks about 20% faster) it gets hit on the ankle and deflects the puck backwards, the Bauer takes a solid hit (not a glancing blow) and it still comes out on top. The angle of the shots roughly show the same amount of impact, yet the Easton gets pwnd. After recently suffering an ankle injury, this is all the evidence I need to not buy Eastons.

@kosilveriarn actually look closely and they hit at the exact same speed and time, and they were shot at the same time too. you can barely tell but part of the eastons screen is covered by the black line separating them. and id suggest getting a pair of total ones, ive taken many shots to the ankle with them and havent felt anything.

@kosilveriarn Also (i really wish I remembered the name) there is a website that you can order these carbon fiber things that you can get to either cover the sides of your ankle/heel/first little bit of foot or there is also one that covers a lot of your laces(these can be ordered with or without lace holes so it is not as obvious)

i kno the one95s r 2000000 times better than the shit s15s but look at the slow mo. the puck is moving way faster on the s15s than the one95s and the s15s arent even tied tight unless they look like tht when u tie them. i juss got my one95s for 400 bucks on hockey monkey wooo!! theyre sick. im a 96 and i got hit with the kid with the hardest shot in 96s slapshot to the inside of my skate and i felt absolutely nothing. best skates ever. same as the total ones except one95s r half price :p yaaaa!!

haha..no you wouldn't want the skate to flex a lot. Just compare a skate with no stiffness to a really stiff skate. Have someone take slapshots at your feet with both pairs on and tell me which one hurts less.

at around 10 seconds when they start slow motion, notice the puck going towards the easton skate comes out much faster than the bauer puck, watch closely and you can tell, the easton puck even comes out later than the bauers and it seems to hit the skate a bit sooner.

What a load! The Bauer puck enters the frame well before the easton puck, and the easton puck strikes the skate well before the bauer puck. The easton puck is traveling twice the speed of the bauer puck.

Unless they monkeyed with the framespeed, in which case, not particularly trustworthy.

Who cares what it does when theress no foot in it? The structural integrity would completly change when theres a foot in it, and that doesn't mean I think Easton would win it just means without the foot in place the Easton torques alot which looks bad but with something inside the energy would maybe be absorbed more directly like the Bauer.

The One95 puck gets stopped, and doesn't hit the wall. The other puck hits the wall, thus causing a louder noise. Also attributes to the stiffness of the skate.

I think that's not a fair video. The One95 in the real video and the slow motion looks the same. But the Stealth15 in real version and the slow motion are not the same. If you look at the Easton Logo on the front, in the real version you can clearly see it. In the slowmo version the E of Easton is cover by the lace. Also the lace looks different between the real and the slow motion version.

Wow, is this marketing gimmick a load of bull. Notice in the slow motion video. The puck hitting the Easton skate is traveling at more than twice the rate of speed assuming the slow motion video is being presented at the same frame rate. Its plainly obvious that the puck striking the easton skate is traveling significantly faster making the comparison wholly unfair. (i don't skate ran across this at random had to comment)
