They use stock footage when their fighting the monster, they don't really create their own fight scenes( except in power rangers). Oh and by the way, all the fight scenes in this show are from Kamen Black RX, ALL of them.

They even change the attack of Revolcane( Electro-saber), instead of showing the clips where Kotaro stabs the monster, they just show a clip of the saber shooting some beam at the monster, and then they show a different clip of an explosion.

@asianmami49 Month old comment, but apparently in some cases that was done deliberately with Kotoro, or at least attempted to be done deliberately, because for some reason they couldn't afford/couldn't obtain the monster costumes from Black RX, so tried to make it look like Dex was fighting the monsters by using footage of Kotoro where you saw the least of his face..course obviously that didn't work well, but still.

Anyway, Saban gets credit for the fight scenes that they didn't even made, and Kotoro wasn't the only guy from Black RX who appeared in the stock footage, for example, episode "Grandma Factor", you can see the kids behind Dex when he confronts Slime-a-sect in the building, episode "Pet Nappers" when Mandible jumps out to fight Dex, you can see the little who is on the floor next to the monster.

Actually I bash it because this was the sole reason why Kamen Rider series never appeared again in America until recently with Dragon Knight. And the original was a far cry from what a campy sitcom with Aliens that Saban turned it into. Much like DBE, it was turning something really good into a steaming pile of crap.

Yeah Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is a better show and it actually feels like you're watching Kamen Rider, and the storyline and villains are darker and more serious. Best of all, it's made by people who properly acknowledge Shotaro Ishonomori's work (Adness Entertainment).
