generally one can say that if you make an "even" manipulation, the same thing happens with the joint than when we as manual therapists, osteopaths or chiropractors treat.
However, in my opinion ALWAYS treat the joint in the normal movement limit, only deal in a joint plan of the corridor, always fixating on one articular surface, and perform only with clear strategies for what purpose is.
so need this done right now, neck is killing me. osteopathy is so good!

When people go around and "break" their joints, there is none of the above purposes, but the wrist leaves a subsequent relaxation as most seem nice.
Most people who have a need to "crack" their joints, is usually signs of muscular asymmetry.
