  • WELCOME TO HALL OF FAME 2012 YOKOZUNA!

  • Yokozuna HOF 2012 according to sources, he deserves it, now induct Macho Man already Vince

  • apparently I heard Hulk threatened to no show WM if he wasn't given the WWF title

  • Bret Hart is from Canada, Yokozuna is from America. Baahahaha.

  • @IsolationInstigation Hawaii actually :P

  • @antsman88 Sorry, Samoa

  • I love at 720 they start chanting USA but Bret Hart is from Canada lol morons

  • booker t is taking after macho man in his commentary "let me tell you somethin"

  • rip macho

    rip yokozuna

  • Hogan should of dropped the belt to bret at this wrestlemania.

  • Am I the only person ever who loved Wrestlemania 9? The matches aren't brilliant, the endings were poor, too many heels won, the Hogan thing was shit..but...there was just something special about it. I can't explain it. I still watch it and enjoy it...

  • @BonJ2211 I didnt think it was nearly as bad as everybody says it is. My sister thought it was the best PPV ever because, and i quote, "It was outside" :)

  • @BonJ2211 hbk tatanka was pretty good. Not really a fan of 9, but I will happily choose it over 11 any day of the week

  • @antsman88 Couldn't agree more. 11 was awful, with Diesel-HBK being the only real watchable fight. Bret v Backlund was comedy gold with Piper constantly asking if they have up.

  • Yoko was just 34 when he died in 2000 weighing 680lbat the time, died from fluid in his lungs, RIP

  • wow how do you make so good quality of so old vids?

  • pretty cool how they did this outside

  • Bret hart vs randy savage would of been a good main event too at wrestlemania 9 for the belt what do u think????

  • @TheMrsuperman2000 I think they should of done Bret vs Macho man a few months earlier at the Royal Rumble, instead of Bret vs Razor

  • RIP Yokuzuna. Respect

  • Yokozuna did make history of being the first Japanese, wait a minute he was the first Samoan to win the WWF Championship from Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 9. As of 2011, no Japanese wrestler ever won the WWE Championship, Antonio Inoki held the title briefly in 1979, but was stripped due to controversy.

  • They never do outdoor events anymore, do they?

  • @iladelph420 Nope, well Wrestlemania 24, but thats it i think.

  • That's Wrestling! Not the Child's WWE!

    Bret - I love you!

  • wow chuck vs hitman

  • Having Hogan come out and pin Yoko like that made Bret and Yoko look like chimps and should NOT have been done. McMahon pandered to Hogan's ego.

  • What the fuck is wrong with Vince McMahon? Why the delay in putting legends like Yokozuna (Rodney Anoa'i) and Randy Savage in the HOF?

  • Man they made him put on all that weight andhe died because of that

  • macho man i dead

  • WWE should recreate this Hart/Yoko feud with Natalya and Kharma. A divas version would be great.

  • Macho Man :'(

  • this is the wrestling that I know!! not like wwe now...

  • What was with Savage's comment about Hulk Hogan having a bad day when they mention Lex Luger hitting the Hitman earlier in the day...seems to lend credence to the story that Savage punched Hogan thus causing Hogan's black eye...

  • @Derby14 Randy Savage is Alive

  • @HBK344356 So is Andre

  • @HBK344356 So are the Bushwhackers

  • @Derby14 that's not a great comeback because the Bushwhackers are still alive

  • @HBK344356 I know...that's why I got so much enjoyment out of it. I could have said something lame like "So is Arnold Skaaland" but I'd already countered with someone who was dead. Using someone who is actually alive further denegrates your original lame retort...it's just good kayfabe.

  • Comment removed

  • @Derby14 haha You Got me Good However i kind of knew that's what you were doing but i though what the hell i'll take a chance anyway lol

  • @HBK344356 You sir are a damn good sport (something youtube could use more of)...you could have got me back even worse by saying something like "So is Marty Jannetty" lol

  • lol 0:51 look at crowd look at kid in crowd

  • rip macho man

  • r.i.p macho man! =[

    ohhh yeah!! =]

  • i miss that ref.

  • USA chant was hilarious...

  • RIP! Macho Man!

  • 0:51 did anyone notice the kid flipping off the camera?

  • @rootbeer3651 lol i saw him doin this ,,l,, XD

  • Is Savage drunk?

  • lol, chanting usa when hitman is canadian.

  • 1:52 XD

  • yokozuna is fat asshole with shitty finishers

  • Bret Hart is the ONLY guy who can wear an all pink outfit and look badass doing it!

Is it just me, or is there anyone else out there who still think it sounds weird when you hear people say WWE and not WWF?

  • @mitchkramah Definitely!! love Bret Hart like crazy!

  • @mitchkramah This outfit actually was more of a red, no where near as pink as the full pinks he used to wear or wore vs piper for the ic belt the year before was it? wish he would have stuck more with this color back in the day. I hated when he started wearing the full black outfit. Always pissed me off too as a kid that he won the world titel both times in his black top pink pants get up... that was his "normal tv get up" to me and his pink top with black pants was always worn for PPV it seemed

  • @Standard420247 well maybe not "red" but darker like hot pink or something

  • @mitchkramah Also LOD's gold armor at this event was also bad fucking ass

  • @mitchkramah WWF sounded cool and proud.

WWE sounds like a lanky streak of piss dissapating into nothing

  • Wrestlamanias should ALWAYS be in an open arena, look amazing.. not open one year.. closed the other.. no consistency in the brand of WM

  • 7:12 The funny thing is that Bret hart is from Canada ;)

  • hah that crowd chants USA and Bret is from Canada...

  • wrestemania 9 the beautiful wrestlemania

  • Brets first main event. He made ALOT of money that day.

  • @TooMuchGass First WrestleMania main event... But he main evented SummerSlam 92, and was breathtaking

  • "Yes I am right! I'm The Brain!" Gotta love Bobby.

  • To be honestly wcw was better

  • @swagger8716 At what?

  • damn, bret could wrestle a turn and make it look good.....

  • put Yokozuna in the hall of fame

  • wait a fuckin minute! at 7:17 the crowd starts chanting "USA! USA!"... erm Bret Hart's Canadian and everyone knows it. Idiots!... for that matter Yokozuna's not really Japanese. He's of Samoan ethnicity and was actually born in California. When you break it down theyre actually chanting for Yokozuna. This is one damn unintentional heel/face swap over. If you pretend he's Japanese then theyre chanting for someone who isnt there. Would explain Hogan taking the title and bathing his ego.

  • The has never really been a worthy placement to The Brain. Which is a shame. Macho Man should still be the colour commentator too

  • 5:37-5:59...SELL you fat idiot!

  • That ending was so unfair! The Hitman was allowed to to the job for hogan because the officials knew that only the hitman can make a good match with someone like yoko. shame!

  • Correction at 3:54 JR, Otis Redding first sang Respect.

  • @Fartingbellybutton He never said that Aretha first sang Respect, all he said was that she has sung it.

  • Simply the Best

  • I hope the kid still keep those glasses

  • i think Bret wins

  • Bret and Hogan is my favorite wrestler...

  • Heenan: He cant pin him his leg is on the ropes.

    Savage: You're right, you're right.

Heenan: Of course i'm right! I'm the brain!

    Fantastic

  • I can imagine that wrestlers really hate to wrestle people the size of yoko. You are limited to do a certain amount of moves when a man weighs 500 punds! I mean, not many, if any, can bodyslam somebody that big,

  • wasnt yokozuna samoan???? i think thats what bret said in his book.

  • @paigejune12 Yes he was.

  • @paigejune12 correctamondo:)

  • Bret "The Hitman" Hart = Canadian hero.

  • I think at this time a lot of True champs like Randy Savage loved Bret.

  • You hear Macho talk about having the title twice, think about that, his entire career up to that point as pretty much a top guy most of the time, he had only won twice. Nowadays you hear Orton 9 time champion, HHH 167 time champion, Cena 700 time champion, it puts less value on what was once a prestigious belt to hold.

  • @krazygreen On top of everything you said (which I agree with), the fact that there are two heavweight titles diminished the value of being the world champion.

  • @krazygreen By hot shotting the belt they devalue it. In a year the title should change hands every 3 months AT MOST unless there's an injury/firing.

  • @krazygreen When i was a kid, flair would state how he was a 11-time World Champion. I used to think - "yeah but that means you've lost the title 10 times too!"

  • @krazygreen You'd have to include Edge in there - 11 world title reigns in just over 5 years, his longest reign being about two months.

  • @thetomsays But the majority of titles Edge won were World Heavyweight Titles... Which essentially mean nothing

  • @krazygreen

so true... just shows how bad it is nowadays that no-one is good enough (personality wise) or talentwise to last like these guys could.

Rock.... Austin and michaels along with hart were the only ones aprt from hogan

What have you got these days? cena.... batista.... not in the same league, its shit compared to these days and embarrassing to see what it has become (all flashing lights and entrances with no talent)

  • @krazygreen PREACH !!!!!....10 thumbs up fam, I hate how watered down wrestling is now...the title changes hands every 2 weeks, "story lines" are created in one month, theres no build up anymore...smh

  • @krazygreen Think about some of the great wrestlers that never even got to see the title. The Million Dollar Man, Umaga, Razor Ramon, and I don't doubt there are plenty of others. It's part of why they had things like the Intercontinental title. Now, we've got an arbitrary split in the roster (Raw/Smackdown), and only one major belt in each. Tag team division's been a joke pretty much since Legion of Doom left, and Women's division lost its three top stars: Lita, Trish, and Chyna.

  • @krazygreen I couldn't agree more, belts used to mean something.

  • @krazygreen I think a large part of the degradation of pro wrestling was unavoidable. Back then, there were people that actually believed pro wrestling was real. There was a lot more mystery behind the workings of pro wrestling because the internet didn't exist. Nowadays, everyone knows everything there is to know about what goes on behind the scenes. Not to say the talent is worth anything nowadays but you have to consider this fact too.

  • @krazygreen Back then the title meant something, it is a joke now. Nobody holds it a long length of time.

  • @krazygreen i agree...

  • @krazygreen

I couldn't agree more. They only had three belts if I am not mistaken, the Tag Team, IC and Heavyweight which placed greater value on the titles since there were so few of them. Now with two brands and titles every which a way, they don't mean as much...just like how boxing did the same thing. And of course they have a PPV it seems every other weekend which means more title defenses. I haven't watched it in years though besides reading the news on sites. It is beyond garbage now.

  • @rmccay88 wCW had a lot of different title's but it made the PPV's far more interesting. the biggest issue with the current WWE belts is having two heavyweight champions.. thats just gay.. the worst was when they used to have the "hardcore" champion too with the broken belt.. so fucking stupid

  • @krazygreen dude the frankensteiner was a finishing move. Now they pull it off like 3 times a match.

  • i bet you Yoko and Bret got confused why they were chanting USA..cause Yoko was actually American and Bret was born in Canada!

  • Big Eddie is not from Japan. He's from Somoa.

  • To me this is one of Bret's best matches. It's one thing to have a great match against Mr Perfect or Steve Austin but Yokozuna is a different story. I thought Bret did alot of really cool things in this match like when he trips yoko in the ropes and then slingshots on top.

  • LOL 2:16 (16,000 PLUS FANS, FUCKED UP AND READY TO GO !)

  • the geisha girls are prob not even japanese

  • At about 4 minutes they're talking about Bret being "one of eleven children" . Stu and Helen had 12 children.

  • LMAO MACHO MAN!!!

  • Bret was so cool back in the day, the music, the hair, the build, the attire, the ability

  • @rmathew2 Yep. He was.

  • @rmathew2 ...the confidence, the charisma, the first wrestler to ever look cool in pink. Yup, he was awesome.

  • @wiicoolalways haha yeah, people dont give him credit for having any charisma but I thought his promos at times were very good.

  • @rmathew2 I always thought he was the best at giving promos in the WWF from 1992 to 1997. His WCW days weren't nearly as good, and I think that's what a lot of young people on the internet are judging him for.

But yeah, Bret Hart was the perfect wrestler who had it all.

  • @rmathew2 are u gay?

  • @TheShootTruth10 Go suck a dck fag if that is where your mind is at.

  • @rmathew2 hey I am not the one with a man crush on bret hart talking about his hair and built. man crushes are for men who have not yet become what they want to be. that is why so wrestlers are so popular.

  • @TheShootTruth10 That last part actually made some sense, yes who would not want to be a superstar wrestler making a million dollars a year.

  • @rmathew2 bret was so cool

  • wish i was there damn got damn 1993

  • the excellence of execution! :)

  • hogan just sux... bret was way better than him.

  • @salluabubhai Yeah but Hogan was better at politicking with Vincent Kennedy Mcmahon and later on with Easy E

  • i love how the crowd chants usa in a match between a canadian and a "japanese" man

  • @vampirehunterme I thik Yokozuna was from Hawaii. Maybe they were chanting for him

  • 505 pounds? Yokozuna weighed more than that, otherwise he could have moved quick and last longer against Hart. If McMahon didn't make Rodney Anoa'i gain so much weight, he would be alive and could probably go 60 minutes. Heavy people have gone 60 minutes before. RIP Yokozuna.

  • Yokozuna would later weigh in at a stunning 660 pounds, and later over 700 pounds sometime before he died"

  • @undisputedchamp1986 The problem was that Vince McMahon wanted him to get to the ideal weight so look like a legitimate sumo wrestler. Unfortunately Yokozuna got to the point where he couldn't run around in the ring. Yokozuna tried to lose weight, but he didn't break the cycle. If Yokozuna dropped from 700 to 450 or less, he would still be here. I do blame Vince for forcing him to gain that weight. When he was Great Kokina, he weighed 430 lbs.

  • @AMEwrestling I don't know why Yoko needed to gain any more weight than his initially billed 505 lbs,as if he didn't look intimidating enough.

  • one of the greatest show in the history of wrestling!

  • I always loved that fast camera zoom for bret's entrance...

  • Hogan should have been tapping the mat to the sharpshooter here, why would Hogan care if he lost to Yokozuna or Bret

  • @rmathew2 hmm because Hogan is an egomaniac and wanted to be seen as better than everyone?

  • @wrestlewes Right, sorry that was a silly question.

  • r.i.p yokozuna

  • he's triyin to buy fans - classin "brain"

  • worst wm ever

  • @wolfxv3 2nd Worst. Worst Is WM 11.

  • @jaymr That's because Ric Flair is an idiot. Vince McMahon once said that anyone who had Bret Hart could build their organization around him. And I'd say that that still holds true to this day.

  • seems there's a resemblance between Yokozuna and Samoa Joe (TNA) any one sees it?

  • You should check out Bret Harts Daughters new song Alex Hart - Black Romance!

  • what a match this was ?????

  • new bret hart rap song on my page

  • bret "hitman" hart is the best of all time

  • nice days memry well not gon

  • Not one Canadian flag in that place? no wonder they can't remmember jack shit about Bret. LOL

  • U.S.A chants??? dumb fukk americans

  • thats the first drop kick ive seen from Bret,a poor attempt!

  • Hogans gay ass didnt want to wrestle bret what a fag

  • bret se ve muy natural y muy real, al luchar,

  • It was one thing to have Yokozuna win. It was another to have Hogan win right after. Way to overshadow a true Wrestling legend and the new world champion Hogan.

BTW- Howard Finkel and Tony Chimmel are the two best announcers in wrestling history.

  • rip Yokozuna

  • @TheJaster19 how did he died

  • @nicholifavs - apparently Heart Failure back in 2000

  • bret hart's old entrances give me chills everytime. no idea why he changed his music in the mid 90s

  • nothing special about his entrances..ur a fuckin weirdo

  • yokozunas butt is big

  • Wow...listen to 1993 JR...and then listen to him now...he sounds so...young...lol

  • bret hart the best of all time

  • I really wished that Bret could be still in this great condition now....he kick that batista's candy ass!!!! Not to mention Vince's!!

  • The best there ever will be......The Hitman.....The True Champion of all times...Sweet 1993....

  • WOW BRET s SHAPE ! AMAZING !! THIS TIME WAS AWESOME !

  • yokozunas entrance was sick

  • @eazyduzzit33 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • u cant deny it the hitmans charisma, the way he was, his movements, his entrance, he knew how to get a crowd goin, he was one of the best at it, can any1 name anymore?

  • Shawn Michaels had the same charisma. The ratings may not have been great in the mid 90's, but in hindsight, I bet more people would watch now with the shit product they have.

  • could that kid still have that goggles of hitman??

  • One Of The Greatest Big Man Wrestler Ever!!!

  • just too damn sexy I mean.

If I had been Yoko, I would have took a cake break just before each banzai drop
