this is one killer tv. I have the d8000 (plasma) and i love it, i just want a bigger one. the hardest decision is to get the un60es8000, or the un60es7500 or th pn64e8000 all cost about the same, just that the es come with 4 pair glasses and 2 remotes ( 1 regular, 1 smart touch - with voice to control tv,blu ray and set top boxes) and an ir blaster, the plasma version comes with 2 pair glasses and 1 touch remote no ir blaster.2pair glasses can be bought for $35.00 and an ir blaster for ????
I'd like to get that screen, without all the features please, and connect it to my TV router thingy box (channels and volume are controlled on that anyway). I basically just want a big, thin, small-bezel screen that doesn't do anything but display an output via HDMI, I bet it would be cheaper!
Hi, why are all of the demos of the voice control done with no speaker output on the TV? My point is, how will the TV hear your voice commands above the existing volume of the TV (or external) speakers? I think the answer is: it won't! Just like the Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone can't hear voice commands in a moving car due to engine/road noise.
The issues that existing D7000/D8000 users want to know about are panel uniformity/light bleed and motion stuttering, the bane of ALL previous models.

Did you see any evidence of clouding on this tv?? The D8000's suffered immensely from clouding.

This is a luxury item. No use for the voice and motion controls. The remote is quicker and traditional.

I have a better idea which ive been using for most my life. Pick up the remote and change the channel/volume.

Talking to the TV in a controlled even pace could get annoying very very quickly.

Did they fix the menu screens? I thought the C series was quicker to navigate than my current D series!

@eVerlastingTenrai Ha Ha! A 900GHz processor would be powerful! Good spot. It was a simple slip of the tongue. Thanks.
