@RamsAndPabRock Many thanks for your concern about Pixie. She did not require surgery, as my vet decided to try a more natural method of healing before subjecting her to the risk of an anaesthetic . Very fortunately rest, massage, gradually increasing exercise and medication, has worked and she is 95% back to normal. It has been a very stressful time but I think that she will be fine now.
@caberet Many thanks for your kind thoughts. Pixie is now almost her normal self again and has had the 'all clear' from our vet. Am making sure that she doesn't overdo the running about for another week and then she should be fine to have fun with her Pom friends.

Thank you so much! Pixie is improving each day and I hope to take her for a short walk on the lead tomorrow. It has been a ver worrying time.
