with any comparisons of pridefc and ufc i think that pride was just alot more into the skeptical you know, they put on  sort of like a WWE type of entertainment atmosphere but the ufc has certainly surpassed anything pride could, would have been able to do.

I don't really think the UFC has passed it, but I agree that it will get bigger than PRIDE would have been able to do. As someone who has attended both UFC and PRIDE events multiple times, PRIDE was magical. However, the UFC will pass it in the fame department.

I am getting older as well, and I have been following this sport for over 10 years. I can be the first to tell you that this sport has tons of magic, and almost every event has at least one "oh shit" moment.
