when you block the plate, put your whole knee down, otherwise they can slide to the left or right of your foot, and your closer to the runner for a quicker tag

dude im a catcher my number used to be 13 but he didnt block it right im surprised the umpire called him out he was supposed to go down and block the plate with his legs so the runner would hit them instead of the plat i know cause ive been catching for 6 years k
