"Live From The Styleetron" produced no hits but that thing is awesome front to back. Money B has a great voice, great flow, great rhymes, and the music is incredible. (And of course there are some appearances from other Digital Underground members.) If you liked this track at all, do yourself a favor and check out the rest. My favorites are "Do My Thang", "Kill Mi Dead", and "Funkintoyourear"
Fuze was dope but Goldfingers from DU was even doper. To me Money B was the best emcee from the underground not named Tupac. ANd why was Greg Jacobs doper as Humpty Hump than Shock G? Never understood that...
Another white , whigger comment , really ? Although his comment is moronic I grew up on this time in music and its all I know give the white black shit a rest please. Blame all the young black rap artists and young black and white rap fans that have made rap music the sad joke it currently is. Oh and I think the new Rakim dropped yesterday , just a little heads up from another " wigger " .
well some people consider oldschool late 70's-early 80's. This came out in the 90's so to me this golden era shit. Olschool (to me) would be like Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5 or MC Shan or something.
True that man. I once read in NME magazine around 91. They described the era´s of hip hop. It went like this: 1969-1982 OLD SCHOOL, 1982-1984 ELECTRO, 84-87 B BOY, 87-89 GOLDEN AGE. I can't remember the era's after that. I think they all splintered off into different catagories (Daisy, Gangsta, Jazz etc). But good pickin that up, these young bucks think 1990 is old school.
I always loved that Digital Undergound made use of the piano in many of their songs. Naturally, I digged this track, awesome rhythm ... it makes me forget that I am white^^
yep yep yep this is hot hot who ever posted gotz 2 b a true hip hop head if anybody can find freaky note by raw fusion please post but good post like djspair 5 starz...........
The woman in the black outfit is smoking hot. Who is she? The first time I caught a glimpse of this video was on Yo! MTV Raps in the early 90s, and her appearance left me breathless. I've thought about her ever since. It was great seeing it again. Thanks for this upload.
