well some people consider oldschool late 70's-early 80's. This came out in the 90's so to me this golden era shit. Olschool (to me) would be like Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5 or MC Shan or something.

True that man. I once read in NME magazine around 91. They described the era´s of hip hop. It went like this: 1969-1982 OLD SCHOOL, 1982-1984 ELECTRO, 84-87 B BOY, 87-89 GOLDEN AGE. I can't remember the era's after that. I think they all splintered off into different catagories (Daisy, Gangsta, Jazz etc). But good pickin that up, these young bucks think 1990 is old school.
