  • Hello! Could you tell me what is the longest distance of the 2.4 GHz and a 35 MHz receiver from the transmitter. Thank you!

  • @spinosaurus242 It depends on several things. The transmitter power the brand of receiver and the kind of antenna on the receiver.

  • @MikeysRC Well let's say it's DX6i (just like your's in the video).

  • i am just getting started and I was wondering What motor, servos, battery, receiver, transmiter, and size of prop u used

  • @BrddyTheNinja click on "show more" under the video and it will show you all that info. You can also join my forum and and ask questions like this on there too =).

  • also do u use 6mm foam because i use dollar tree foam which is 3mm and ill leave the paper on for reinforcement

  • plzz help would this plane work on a 500g+ thrust 37gram motor with 9*5 prop and 7.4V 1300mah lipo bat? thanks

  • Hi Mickey i am a beginner at rc airplanes, and need help with pluging in the alerons in to the receiver. When i plug it them in i cant get one to go up and one to go down to turn. Do i need to use a y connector plz tell me i can wait to fly it!!!!!!!

    thx.

  • hi man, my motor prop is out of track, what can i do with it? i got a new prop and the problem is the same -.- got a new motor and prop adaptor and i still have the problem, how do you fix that?

  • maybe instead of those sticks from the fuselage to wing u can use a plastic L flange.

  • can you tell me what thickness foamboard you're using on the spitfire? I've built one from 6mm depron but it doesn't seem rigid enough.

  • it's about 5.5mm foam board. or close to 3/16th of an inch. Yeah I don't use depron....too brittle and also too expensive to make stiff. Foam board = stiffer, little heavier but doesn't really matter.

  • What spray paint are you using that doesn't hurt the foam?

  • Just regular spray paint. Since I use foam board to make my planes there is a thin layer of paper on either side of the foam so it protects it from damage from the paint.

  • waw that thing takesoff fast

  • ok you so much for every thing im gunna sub to you xD

  • thx and also can i buy this in a local store or only on your web site?

  • Yeah a local HOBBY SHOP store would have all the electronics.

  • hey im planning this weekend to make this spit fire and i have a question where can i buy the motor and the things to make the elevater work and the wings work and plz tell me how much it is thx your vids rock XD

  • You can buy all the parts from my store. Got to mikeysrc . com and then click on the upper right "store open" banner.

  • Hey Mikey,

Just watched this series after having watched all the others awhile back and have a question...what did you use to make the wheels?

  • They are the GWS replacement wheels and metal rods.

  • hot glue is not very trustable try super glue foam safe or u hoo or epoxy dummy

  • Hey, thanks for the great advice. I have already tried all of those except for, "u hoo"? For me hot glue works best and has never failed me. But feel free to use whatever glue your heart desires.

  • ty mikey for sharing vid. keep up the great work

  • Cool im done watching so i will build one my self. Thanks. mikeyes!

  • nice. the control guide for the pushrod, may i suggest using the same design as ur control horns. just slide it in the pushrod and place it where you want it to hold ur pushrod. hope u get my point.

  • My only concern with doing it that way. is that as the servo / control rod moves back and forth it also moves up and down. So there needs to be a little "slop" in the guide. Though I suppose if you drill a large hole in the popsicle stick that wold work. Thanks for the idea.
