Seems most owners flip the mirrors, replace chrome with V&H blk S.Shots. Lose fork reflectors. I kept stock a/filter; removed "883" plate. Don't like the stock cast wheels; looking for blk powder spokes instead. Stock seat hard as a rock. Pegs & gas cap replaced with H-D "Black Diamond." Added hiway bar w/ addtnl pegs. Maintains 100mph :) Drove from No. Fla to K.West flawless ride. Hard seat must go.Mustang? Corbin? Dunno yet. They won't let me test them on a long drive. But seat gotta go.

@funknando007 Had the pipes and air filter put on when I bought it. Still getting about 50MPG even riding not conservatively.

An absolute thing of beauty. I owned an 02 Sportster but had to sell it when I bought my house. Not a day goes by I don't miss it. However the iron will be my next bike. The mods you made are perfect. Nice job bro, thanks for sharing.

@Gavin1082 Your welcome, one quick question if you don't mind...was the race tuner required when you upgraded the intake?

@squalie82 You can just put the new intake on without it but your bike might not run as well as if you had it tuned either with dyno or a specific setting. Being a new bike I wanted it done right. Plus with the race tuner you can change things later and just change the settings.

@Gavin1082 actually all these new harleys come very lean, and high flow air without a tune will result in a even leaner bike causing it to run VERY hot and you will start blowing seals and gettins leaks over some time if you continue to run it that way. so good job man

Amazing bike bud....do you find the same problem as half the other riders of this bike do with the mirrors? Its become very rare to see any without the mirrors being flipped...

@theNABILcompany I don't find it that difficult to use them. Minor shifting of the shoulder sometimes to really see behind but not as bad I think as moving your head from looking forward at the road to way further down.
