The graphics were no doubt better on the arcade version, but the different bosses and levels made the SNES more fun to play. It's too bad Konami couldn't do a 4-player version with more bad guys on screen at the time though.

They have a version of it on Xbox Live, but the graphics are all re-done. Plus, it's based on the arcade version rather than the SNES version, so several bosses are missing, including the stage where you have to throw Foot soldiers at the screen.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea considering that my one computer [that has an SNES emulator] is down for the time being. I have a Wii with Wi-Fi connection.

There's that or I could go to a store that sells classic games [I know of a couple places, one being a Flea Market with about 5 VG vendors] and hope that one of them has this game for a good price [hopefully less than $20-$30.

I have a working Super Nintendo 2 but not a whole lot of games for it.

Sad to say, they aren't in there either! In fact the game is just like brawl, only it has less characters and stages!

There are about 17 total, 7 playable from the get go and about 10 unlockable! I've only been able to play the game for about 3 hours, but unlike Brawl, Smash Up kinda loses its playability and gets boring after a while, but that's just my opinion, go ahead and try the game if you want!

I know it's cheaper on PS2, but the multi-tap I had, something was wrong with it. It would never connect properly. i think there was something in the plug that I couldn't remove despite my best efforts.

I know it's more expensive, but I'm probably gonna buy it on the Wii.
