  • im 26 mine started late in elementary school. I have circles around eyes, but fortunately over the past 5 years it has not gotten any worse. I was looking up possible skin graphs in the future, just as a means to cover some up of what I have. It is def a social thing when you have it, you feel self conscious, and dermablend cover creme has been my saving grace.

  • OK.

    WHAT ARE YOU DOING TONIGHT?

  • hello i have vitiligo too i started when i was 13 years old....now i am 21..i know how u feel..but my vitiligo will disappear in one side but it will apear in another...wat i been drinking is vitamin E from nutrilite it has help slow by slow i recover some color bak i will recommend this for ppl out there dat has vitiligo..so if you guys have something else u guys r doin let me kno..together we will fight against dis vitiligo... • 2-) I cannot walk, I use wheelchair and I understood that I really exacurated my vitiligo. I dont wanna play stupid Pollyanna and stupid optimism but belive me we are prone to forget what we have. I lost my walking abilitiy and got that we have something to be happy with. Please dont be sorry for your vitiligo. You are much more than your skin color...Best wishes...

  • 1-) Hello, let me tell you my story as a person with vitiligo. When I realized having vitiligo i was 10 years old. it was not very large area only on my tibia bone and around inquinal region. As I grow up i take it very seriously. I spend much money to rid of it which resulten in nothing.

I was seeing myself like veird, I was shy. Coz i had sportive body and it was not fit on it. And then one day came and i had an trafic accident. Now i am paraplegic, i cannot walk and feel moy lower part...

  • I know what u mean about giving up.. Im 20 and suffered from vitiligo since i was about 3 and everywhere i would go id be made fun off. This caused me to close up in meeting people and going out to lakes or pool partys. Im always told why i dont wear anything other then pants i simply say" i dont like shorts or skirts" people would never understand.. goodluck in finding a cure ima keep on looking for things as well..

  • Your still very beautiful, God Bless:} People wouldnr have to hide it if people werent so superficial!.

  • Hey every one I aslo have Vitiligo When I was a about 12 years old . I had it really big on my right side of my face. Then my grandpa given me a mixer of these two creams that regain my skin colours back to normal. But I only have a little bit on my eye lid.Yes there is still a cure for Vitiligo even though I haven't myself been cure yet. I need someone to help me make more my product if there is anyone willing to help me.

  • I have it right now and I hate it. I have it on my face, which is why people stay away from me and treat me differently. They think that I'm a whole nother person and that I'm not normal. I really hope that one day scientists or dermitalogists will find some kind of cure for this.

  • i am fourteen n i have vitiligo since i was little i always dreamed of being a actress. But i cant. I just dont know i am so broken i just cant take it anymore. People say its not a big deal. BUt it is. I know that this vitiligo is genetic and i dont wana go through this again with my next generation. I just want a normal life. Achevvie my dreams which now seems like impossible.

  • @innocentdancinglover have u considered depigmentation? you would have to be pale and take precautions with the sun, but its life changing- especially after u have had vitiligo for many years. You should think about it- theres other options out there for you :)

  • @zurc54321 i know about that and doctors did offered me that but i just cant take such a huge change in my life. specialy since im asian and im natural quite dark : ( but anyways thanks for your advice and ur so brave to put this video up. My wishes are always with u : )xxx

  • @zurc54321 You should see this ..watch?v=EIyQvcuTJYA . He is the darling of Detroit now.

    Wishes from India

  • @innocentdancinglover Chillax! Trust me. You will have a great life. Get in touch with people with the same condition. He is the darling of Detroit now.

    Wishes from India

  • People say to me that this isn't ugly..i dont believe them..cause they dont want to hurt me..what's the matter..im already broken..everyday im trying to forget about it..everyday..is a new try for me..i stopped taking steroid creams and some vitamins which called biomelanin..they cost a lot..and they do anything..no change..i believe..and i know that one day will be found a treatment about this and

will make us all happier..i was always disappointed by myself, but vitiligo completely destroyed me

  • @1992December8 sometimes we have to deal with things we dnt want, i know how vitiligo feels and im depigmenting myself. There are many people who have vitiligo and they feel the same way but we all know that we cnt always get what we want, alot of people choose not to do anything and continue to live with it and thats fine but for the people who really cnt cope with it u have a option to completely rid urself of it with depig- i know is hard but its better than patchy skin. Good luck

  • I was diagnosed with vitiligo 8 months ago..i had some white patches on my fingers before i went to the dematologist so i didnt pay attention...one day i wanted to see what that was..the doctor said that it was vitiligo..and there's No treatment..from the moment she said that theres no treatment..i was anxious..all the time because i didnt want people staring me like an alien..i believed that i lost everything..i believed and i believe that im ugly..I was depressed for about 2 months.

  • you are fit

  • For those who have small amounts of vitiligo to cover up, you can try Dermablend which can be found at Macys or even try a self tanner in those areas....but be careful that you don't turn orange. I am competely transformed, so I don't try any of this anymore. I know how hard it is to live with, but people in the world who make comments, need to mind their business!!! Especially those who are addicted to tanning beds and damage the skin on their faces!!

  • I feel so sad for you people who have vitiligo :(( Bon courage

  • SI HAY TRATAMIENTO PARA EL VITILIGO ,MIS DOS HIJOS TUVIERON VITILIGO Y SE CONTROLO, UNO DE ELLOS TODAVIA TIENE UNAS MANCHITAS EN LAS RODILLAS PERO YA NO LE AVANZO , POCO A POCO SE LE VAN PIGMENTANDO.

  • you ARE beautiful!

  • you dont have a problem i have it all ove mybody my arms ,hands, legs and back i had it since i was 6 and im 12 i cannot do anything with it sometimes im even suicidal ! help...

  • This is making me cry.. im 14 and had it since i was 12. its on my shins and i wont ever wear shorts in public.. I hate going swimming.

  • Hi, my name is Claudio,im from Brasil,Rio de Janeiro, i used all things than u imagine, nothing work's so the only thing u got to do is forget this and live ur life !

  • there's no need to worry your amazing the way you look <3

  • I'm 19, and I also have Vitiligo (surrounding my eye, on my back, on my chest, on my neck, and on my hands so far. Those of you who believe in God, He made you this way so you're perfect as you are. Those who don't, you're beautiful regardless of what people say. I have not tried to hide it, and I probably will never hide it. If you want to prevent it or try to recover some pigments, try taking Folic Acid and B12 vitamins.

P.S. @kyscott You are beautiful. Push through it. =^{D

  • I am 26 years old and I had it on my face and hands. My face is good now. I am trying UVB narrow band light. I recently ordered one from eBay for 150$. I didn't receive it yet, but it is the most effective way to fight with vitiligo. I hope I get a good result. I love you all and be strong, don't forget inner beauty is more important than outer beauty.

  • I am 15 years old and i have vitiligo on my face. this video means a lot to me because i was just diagnosed and this just showed up so im having a VERY difficult time dealing with it.. just thank you...

  • Im 15 and I have it on my right leg and I am so insecure about it I hate it so I know wat your going through

  • light treatment at the dermatologist has really helped mine..

  • had since i was 4 and starting high school

    hopefully high school wont suck

  • I think I'm starting to get it. My cartilage on my nose is way lighter (almost looks white). And a new school year is about to start. And I have no idea how to use foundation to cover it up

  • I have had since 13 and im now 47 and female. It was very devastating, and mostly due to mean ignor ant people. I am completely transformed with very few small dark spots. Most commets now are how flawless and beautiful my skin is. I take good care of my skin and by staying out of sun and wearin screen, I look about 10 to 15 yrs. younger. At least I don't have wrinkles and a leather face from too much sun. Porcelin skin is vogue - check out the models lately they all have white skin...

  • @Elvirabluerose hi, my mother is also completely depigmented and a lot of people tell her that she has beautiful skin as pale as it is, it looks very good on her. She does burn easily though even with a couple of minutes in the sun. Pale skin is beautiful but i dont think it looks good on exactly everyone :/ but most people cant even tell that my mom ever had vitiligo :)

  • I would help you but i dont think they would listen to me

  • With or without Vitiligo your hot as hell!

  • Vitiligo can be caused by a traumatic event that happened before it showed up. Sometimes people have had success with re-living those blocked out experiences, hence the vitiligo tends to stop spreading. Often, vitiligo is related to auto-immune disease. If you have family members with any autoimmune disease, this can increase your chances of manifesting an auto-immune disease(thus, vitiligo). Therefore, the autoimmune disease needs to be addressed in order for the vitilgo to go away.

  • I just found out I had it yesterday. I have one spot under my eye and my hands are spreading. :( Nice to know I'm not the only one.

  • @luveydovey93 i just recently found out i have it too, mine started under and around my left eye about 8 months ago a big white splodge and now spreading on my forehead and under other eye, its like someone is sandpapering away my freckles :(

  • I sucks to have I know this because I to have it but your one of the fortunate ones that after all those years it's not as bad, I have had it only 6 years i am currently 18 and it is destroying my self-esteem because unlike yours mine in visible on my face and my legs when I wear shorts so don't be that sad you will figure something out

  • i may have vitiligo...i have to go to the dermatologist for an official diagnosis of the patches of white on my face and legs. i originally wanted to say something very crude, because she's very beautiful and i enjoy making crass youtube comments (who doesn't?)...but now it seems inappropriate. good luck

  • @anyghost I just went to dermatologist for an official saying. Spent an hour in the waiting room, and was with the doctor for exactly seven minutes. The prescription is just a cream, the doctor was impolite and rude, and didn't explain what was happening. But she did give me a packet full of information, a thousand more actual facts that she didn't tell us. I hope your doctor actually explains. And I hope you don't have it. I wish no one had it. =)

  • ur lucky not to have it all over ur body. bye the way u r beautiful :)

  • i have a foot

  • Your beautiful doe

  • I keep hearing that it`s curable outside the US. But I`ve never seen it reversed. Check out some of the Vit groups on Facebook.

  • kyscott you look so cute and your vit is barely noticeable.

  • personallly, i think its totally awesome! sure we can all make videos about how people ridicule/make us feel bad or how we feel as though we dont fit in and wish we could be different, but come on, deep down inside theres something which makes you feel cool, youre different and you can show it. its a very handy little thing aswell, as crude as it may sound, it does show what people really are like. get a boyfriend/girlfreind who brings it up first thing and doesnt like it is simply put, a waste.

  • I am 49 female have had Vitiligo since I was 30 it used to be on my face and under areas where I wore clothes recently it is all over my feet and hands..it is so frustrating as if my appearance is never settled..I can totally understand how you feel.

  • @Aenvoy have u ever considered depigmentation?

  • You're so cute girl. With vitiligo or without it. I'm have it too, and for me - You're just beautyfull ;) Bye ;)

  • hey hey, it wont let me type all that i want too so i will have to email you i think. but i also suffer, with it all over my body, feet, legs, penis, hand, wrists & mouth. im white male, but i tan very well so mine shows up very well!!! but honestly it dont bother me, when people aske me whats happened to me, i just tell them "its what Michael Jackson claimed to have" then they understand. its not contagious etc. but everyone please be proud of who you are! dont be depresed about it.

  • I'm 18 I've had vitiligo on parts of my face for a couple of years now and I know the social stress it causes....it makes me so insecure around people who don't understand... please contact me somehow I will share more of my story and would love to hear more on yours

  • You're a beautiful and well spoken young woman. I hope you can get the help you need. My 4 year old son has it on his hands. I know he's going to have a tough road ahead, but I hope there will be advances in treatment that can help you and him.

  • hay m uchas cosas que puedes usarr para controlarlo pero lo as inportante es bloquiar eocionalmente la enfermedad, hay muchas cosas q te podria recoendarescribeme augustovargas88@hotmail.co

  • i feel everything you say, emotionally too, i have had vitilgo since the age of 12, and although i tried to find help and use creams at the time in reality i gave up since there was no cure , i still hear its not curable, as a male i feel make up is not my solution but now iam 27 i feel i need to find a solution as its always held me back as a person. I would like to thank you for this video, its made me more confident and for once i have watched something which really meant something to me.

  • @1drughiultras

Hey thanks for that. I appreciate that, I love talking to people about it. It's real and I feel like noone knows what we have gone through and are going through in life unless you truly have had to deal with this weird, uncurable disease. If you ever want to talk e-mail me, miss_kelly_scott@yahoo.com God bless you.

  • @kyscott1 Hello! I can imagine how difficult is life for you having vitiligo. I have this brown spot on my face, it's not that terrible, but people always points-out that spot: What's that? What happened to you? Gee, it makes you feel different and weird! Cheers to you!

  • @1drughiultras its curable , thanks god a friend that had vitiligo told me about a gel and capsules sold in naturist centers here in Mexico and I used it and my white spots started to dissapear , but also I took some vitamin B12 for being less nervous , I had in my genitals and neck and after 6 months they disappeared , the bad thing is that you must put the gel 2 or 3 times daily and preferably put the affected areas in the sun for 5 to 10 minutes after using it

  • @gerardoqs hello ((: can i have the name of the gel and capsules..i am using vitamin E from nutrilite and i have recover some color back>>>thank you...

  • Hey kelly, I have it too on my face, which sucks!..email me so we can try to raise money together, or exchange information. I have segmental, and 27. And I'm on a MISSION to get rid of it also

  • Hi Helen,

I just wanted to give you a positive comment on your video. If you are such a beautiful person inside then the outside does not really matter. There are a lot of peeps out there, like you and me, coping with vitiligo.

I leave you now with a helpful quote from Ayn Rand "People create their own questions because they are afraid to look straight. All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk."

    Let's all move forward then.

  • @mslagrada

hi,,, how can a person know if someones good inside without talking to him/her bcuz of this thing on the outside.???( im suffering from it too... badly!!!!)

  • i have had it since i was 10 and now im 17 and i have it also on only half of the body , i just stopped caring .. so what if some one gives you a funny look , f*ck them if they cant deal with it i dont care and you shouldn't care either . Your beautiful and you shouldn't let something as a silly skin problem hold you down from showing your legs.

(sorry if i offend someone but this is my opinion )

  • I am 27 male and from the uk

I have suffered with vitiligo since I was 5 years old, it started on my knees and slowly progressed to my hands and feet and face, as I have got older some parts have randomly repigmented themselves where as others have gotten worse.

I know all too well how hard it is to grow up with the condition but as I have got older I care less and less about it and rarely even think that I have it. be strong your stunning ;)

  • I have Vitiligo . And Im 14 . It Started At 9 . They have A Treatment And Its A Lazer . If You Have Medicade its FREE . i asked my skin doctor what my rate is 10 out of 10 and she said 10 .. its not really bad on my face . its at the top on my head ... around my eyes and a little bit around my lips .it covers both of my hands and its on the front of my legs .. it covers my feet too . i only have vitiligo where people usually see . face , legs , arms , feet , knees and elbows . • @SIMONDUKEN Im a girl and I have vitiligo too. I heard of guys finding girls who accept them just as they are.Sometimes I feel the same as you. Like I will never find a BF or someone who can accept me for me. I pray we both get what we are looking for. :)

  • Vitiligo or no vitiligo. You're still drop dead gorgeous. Don't hide who you are. Embrace it. One of my favorite rappers, Krizz Kaliko has vitiligo and he still does his thing. He even named one of his cds after it.

  • @cweezy420666 True that!

  • @jacquelinexoxmakeup it cured some of my spots, and the rest are in progress

  • smoke some medical weed, trust me. thats the natural cure.

  • I do try to respond to some comments. I usually inbox them. I really do appreciate all the positive comments, thank you! I just want people to know about Vitiligo and understand it better.

  • @kyscott1 have you ever heard of MICROSKIN?..if not look it up .maybe its something you would like to try

  • @kyscott1 hi ; have you ever heard of MICROSKIN? it may be something you wanna try out.here is a video of it /watch?v=i78TCvHq5og

  • one of my good friends lived with vitiligo from the age of 10. She is 25 now and it just went away. But she lived with it fine. It completely covered her arm and her chest. But she didn't hide it or anything. And really, I dont think you need to. You dont have to hide your leg all the time. let people think what they want to think. as long as your healthy and alive thats all that matters.

  • @llltheterminatorIII Amusing that you placed two speech marks before "YOUR" and three after, and then place an asterisk after "YOU'RE".

Read my comments for examples of perfect English; perfection that you will never achieve in your sad, worthless, hairless life. Consider yourself annihilated, again.

  • i get it.. im 14... iv had vitiligo since i was 2... i cudnt explain it to the kids in my clas... hell i didnt eve know what it was tile 3 years ago..... my parents didnt know how to explain it to me.... the worst thing it.. i had it on my face... and it turnd half my eylashes whitte on one eye.... i get its hard to deal with... but it gives you something to talk about... dont try to hide it.. embrace it.. its part of who you are....

  • Hi girl, my name's Dallas. I'm 17. I got vitiligo. All over my body. : ) try protopic and desonide. Go see a dermatologist. I used to have it all over my face. Not anymore. But like I said go check those out. Lifesavers. : )

  • Hello

I know is hard to live with vitiligo I'm 34 years old And a year ago o started to see white spots on my hand, i went to a cpl of doctors they told me there is no cure for it, I have a friend in Mexico he has vitiligo too, he had bigger spots than me last time i talked to him he told me he was going to Cuba because there doctors give you a treatment with creams both of us didn't believe that because supposedly USA has the better doctors around the world, he went and took the treatment wh

  • @gottabuying what happened when he took the treatment?

  • @gottabuying wth

  • much appreciation to those who took this seriously and tries to help. I'm a victim since 15 (now 23) and still in search for a cure.PUVA light seems to help me a bit but it gives me blisters on the affected areas. my next step will be Xtrac laser. Has anyone tried that?

  • There is a treatment you can talk to a doctor they have a thing kind of like tanning bed but uses a different light it was working for me but my insurance doesn't cover it

  • typo: dealer

  • @kyscott1 I noticed that you answer to those who leave you rude comments and stay hush to those who are cool and share their experience with vitiligo. I bet a lady like you will date a murderous drug dealt than date a a good man, correct? Anyway, you said it started on your foot. Do you have pretty feet? Please make a video of your feet with pearl nail polish. You're very beautiful so you gotta have sexy feet.

  • i recently got vitiligo. its all over my hands and there are a few spots on other places. my mom and my older sister also have it. youre right it isnt easy. all the people who are haters just dont understand. i get asked constantly if im contaigous (mostly by little kids) but it hurts. im still searching for a way to get mine cured. its very expensive

  • @bgirlmagician hey its actually quite easy to get it away for a few years not cure it because there is no cure. im using the elidel cream and puva treatment and it works.

  • You should just get a tattoo over the affected area it would look hot on you anyway and maybe restore what you have been missing in life..

  • I just wanted to thank all the positive people.. And warn the idiots about the negative comments because I know these little people wouldn't have the courage to say those things to my face mainly because i would beat the crap out of them.. "Try Me"..anyway to all the people who suffer from this lets all manifest a cure together all our combined energy can beat this.. This disorder has ruined every good realationship Ive had due to insecurities.. Not a day goes by I dont wanna kill myself..

  • I just wanted to thank all the positive people.. • So other then the obvious skin disorder, I guess you can call it, what does Vitiligo do?

  • GTSGAMER: If you do not make a big thing out of the patches other people will do the same thing. Years ago at a party many of my friends dates were asking who is the girl with the spots. My friends did not know who their dates were talking about, after the party they told me about this & they said because I did not make a big thing out of my spots they no longer saw them. They just say ME. If you do not make an issue out of your looks no one else will. Give it a try.....

  • I understand Vitiligo, I've had it for over 20 years. I NEVER try to cover my spots up this is me and you take me as I am. If you are comfortable with it you will find the your friends & family will not notice it anymore. I have allways looked at it as a way to make me different. I LOVE being different. Show you skin with PRIDE it is you...

  • @LostConfusedAnd oo man i would die to be like yu ur sooo confident.. i wish i was confident im soo shy and i need to build up my confidence any adivce?

  • @AlexWu23 I have on my legs... then it appeared 8 yrs ago on my face.. It is still getting bigger... :( I just use concealer to hide it.

  • Also, if I want to wear shorts, I'm putting a leg make up to hide it. I really understand how and what you feel right now, I experienced a lot of emotional pain, but through the years I finally accepted it by continuously praying to accept it.

Don't mind other people, whatever they say about you/us, just believe in yourself and be stillproud of what you are :) I know, you'll learn to live with it in time :)

  • Hey, I also have vitiligo and we are in the same age. I had this when I was 9... same, I thought it was an ordinary skin disease... it started on my foot, then I went to a derma after it was treated, it had a lot of blisters, I had a 2nd degree burn because of the medicine, then I had to go under surgery to remove the blisters. It happened twice when I was 12 and 13. Now I have on my face, around my eyes and beside my nose. I just use a concealer to hide it..

  • Hey, I have vitiligo, I've had it since I was 6, it started off as white little speckles and then spread, its on my forehead, but over the years has remained about the same size, sometimes I think my skin color will come back and other times, I just don't know. I've read some of your comments on this post and having vitiligo can be real hard to grow up with, I used to be embarrassed by it, but now, I can picture myself without it because, its apart of my individuality.

  • i hav vitiligo and im only 13. life was kind of tough for me because i used to have people make jokes and laugh at me. you cant really do anything about it if your a teenager.. what i do is just forget about it and live my life normal even though people stare at. now i live my life like anyone else and have freind that dont laugh at me or make jokes.

  • you are still beautiful regardless of the color of your skin

  • you're a pritty girl vitiligo or not

  • you are beautiful, nothing can change it, just keep that in mind little pretty girl ;)

  • you posted this a while ago, did you get help with treatment? We live in a world where women are expected to be beautiful, and when they get it right, it must feel great. To have something out of your control keeping you from achieving your goals to look and feel great must be a constant drag. I hope it worked out

  • Hi Kelly - very good video, i have had vitiligo since the age of about 10 - i know exactly what its like to grow up and have to live with it. it is not nice. I did start to have UV light treatment for about 2 years and that started to bring the pigmentation back in some areas - but I then had to stop because i was having too much and my risk of getting skin cancer was getting increased. would love to chat further with you can i have your email address? Best wishes Matt.

  • Hi . Everyone who needs help to cure their vitiligo. Im from Malaysia and this is a Malaysian Doctor who actually gave my brother the medicine as he had the minor vitiligo. Great news it is curing. Im leaving the number as well as the address. Pls do not hesitate to give Dr a cal.. He is called Dr.Chandran +6056211811 / +6032161282. The address is 52J, Jalan Changkat Jong, 36000 Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia. (CHANDRAN'S SKIN COSMETOLOGY, FAMILY HEALTH AND LASER SURGICAL CLINIC)

  • i feel for you sweetheart :(

  • Hey great video about vitiligo. I just uploaded one in my channel about my vitiligo and alternative healing methods. Stay strong!

  • Hey Kelly, how is the progress?.Is the patch on your thigh where the doctor took the skin from?

  • I have it. U R beautiful. Try to believe it!

  • you look asian even if you loose all your pigmentation i can`t see what a great difference it will make, lots of south east asians have very pale complexions

  • you're lucky it's only on your lower body. I have patches forming on my face. I'm 18.

  • The doctors said it might have been stress that caused it and now tjat i dont care its like a burden jst lifted off me and they seem to be going away

  • I have vitiligo and im 15 years old. I completely understand you and now I kinda jst stopped caring and they seem to be going away

  • @Spring1234777 Havnt you heard the saying "If you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say anything at all" ??? Im gonna guess no you havent, and clearly your an idiot.

  • @kyscott1 I get it, you felt different..but its just a skin condition...don't listen to what people tell you, and i don't see how having it in an easily concealable place made growing up difficult for you..

  • @kyscott1 and by the way, my comment wasn't mean....it was a simple solution to your problem as a child. You calling me an idiot was worse than my comment by far. Stop expecting people to feel sorry for you, and stop feeling sorry for yourself. You are no different than anyone else.

  • @Spring1234777 First of all it was unnecessary to curse.Second of all as an adult now I understand it could be worse, cancer etc. But as a child you dont have that understanding and if you dont have vitiligo then you clearly cant understand where I am coming from. I developed Vitiligo 11. I am going on 30,so dont tell me it's just a skin condition and wear pants, you sound real ignorant, how old are you?? It doesnt matter,,dont put comments on my page if your going to be negative, period.

  • @kyscott1 when i was 11-13 i was overweight and i had a lot of skin problems..its not that big of a deal yes people are jerks about it but if you have it in a place that is easily concealable like you did and i didn't, then it shouldn't impact your childhood much at all...maybe you were too embarrassed to go to the pool or something but its not that big of a deal. When you act like it is, all you are doing is encouraged people to treat you different.

  • @izakteaz lol why?

  • @Spring1234777 yes or no do you have vitiligo

  • @nirvana1393 no but as long as you dont act like it makes u a freak other people wont either....i dont see the big deal....seriously. Why should someone with vitiligo be treated any differently? whether pity or hatred - they shouldn't

  • @Spring1234777 No one is suppose to treat them differently but you're not supposed to compare people with the disorder to animal breeding either...

  • @Spring1234777 your a fukin idiot, if you had it, you would know what its like, man i wish i could meet you so i could beat the ignorance out your ass

  • @r3sking okay fine ill give you what you want...EWW YOUR ALL FREAKS WTF GROSS.....seriously is that what you guys want? cuz it seems to be how you view yourself...but i see you as normal people...some are black, some are white, some are brown, and vitiligo shouldn't even be seen as a disease...its just skin color....is being white a disease? people breed animals to get a variety of colors out of them and it is just a step further in evolution...you guys are fighting evolution.

  • @Spring1234777 YOU may see it that way, but not everyone else does, some people have never even heard of it man, and the animal breeding was a bad comparison, but i see your not trying to be an asshole, just sound like one lol pce

  • @Spring1234777 Do you have Vitiligo?

  • @Spring1234777 "...you guys are fighting evolution."

Are you mentally retarded, I'm asking seriously? You are comparing the breeding of animals to humans? wow. Fighting evolution?! SO guess every disease a person gets can be considered a step 'up' in the evolutionary chain. Vitiligo is a disorder these people have to live with. That have no protection from the sun whatsoever! Skin Cancers can develop! how is that a good thing?

  • @ShineyRubi but does the cancer come from the disease....or from the TREATMENT?

  • @Spring1234777 ...Okay I almost don't want to answer the question because i feel lke you're tryign to be silly. But im gonna do it anyway. You know how people can get skin cancer from too much UV exposure to the sun? Usually peopel with lover counts of Melanin are at higher risk. Well imagine if you had no melanin. You are 10 time at risk than people without the disorder.

  • @ShineyRubi only if that specific part is OVERexposed to sunlight....but regardless, i don't think it is some curse, i actually think its kind of cool. Evolution works in mysterious ways....could be the next step to nocturnal people ;) sorry, im to open minded

  • @Spring1234777 Over exposed?! You need to use logic for one sec. A simple regular walk in the walk puts a person at risk! tell me what's overexposure to you? ANYONE can be over exposed to the sun! But people w/ vitiligo had NO protection in those area of their body or if it's all over! Michael jackson himself explained that he was allergic to the sun! Do you think he wore wide brimmed fedora's and long sleeved shirts, umbrellas and masks just as a style. He COULDN'T BE IN THE SUN AT ALL!

  • @ShineyRubi im an open minded person who believes in possibilities...... if people lived naturally without clothes like nature intended....vitiligo would force people to be active at night and being active at night would probably lead to better night vision!! :D evolution - stop ur bitchin

  • @Spring1234777 Well I can clearly that there's now changing you're ignorance, and you have curse against anyone and everyone who's raised an argument with you. If you can sustain an argument long enough w/o cussing them, there is not point. But you're just a jerk, So i can live with that.

  • @ShineyRubi you act like people with vitiligo are cursed freaks - i act like they are normal hence i am not a jerk.

  • Comment removed

  • @Spring1234777 "could be the next step to nocturnal people ;) sorry, im to open minded" Are you serious? This is not a joke!! " So I'm guessing then people who are blind are evolving to be to new species of humans that can live in complete darkness, or People with Alopecia have evolved to be able to swim faster. Wow, please take a second and listen to how you sound. I can't believe you actually argued with the OP of this Vid! "Evolution works in mysterious ways." So does the Lord

  • @Spring1234777 Whoa that was uncalled for!

  • @Spring1234777 Maybe you don't know much about being a human being...but being a kid growing up forced to not be able to go swimming, play sports, and just anything that involves not wearing pants would be highly traumatizing. Also, being a kid who has a skin problem, when no other classmates did, is traumatizing as well. Maybe you are just a flawless person and don't know what it's like to be different in a negative way.

  • @flatlanderdot i do know, but your parents should teach you how to deal with it...i say it builds character :) you should strengthen yourself mentally

  • @Spring1234777 With that response, no, you don't.

  • @flatlanderdot you don't know who i am or what i've been through. Maybe you guys are just weaker than me mentally.

  • @Spring1234777 Or we know about human psychology, and sociology.

  • @flatlanderdot i know a ton about psychology...ive even had college classes. But you can still toughen up...there are ways around everything. I am just saying that if people acted like it was normal there wouldn't be any need for ANYONE to be embarrassed.

  • @Spring1234777 It ISN'T normal. Of course people are not going to act like it is....

  • i have vitiligo to...on my face... at first it was werry embaresing but in time i realised that i will never cure and now im peaced with it...i just hope that it will not spread on the rest of my face..i have it sice i was 15...now im 19...but it got smaller...i used Protopic, Vitix, Advantan, B4, Daivonex, ultraviolet ray....all those stoped Vitiligo

  • @vcsrk786 I have protopic to but hw long hve u been using it?

  • I don't have Vitiligo, but i will tell you that you are a beautiful woman. Forget about all the people that tell you that you aren't beautiful. They don't know jack shit! Anyway, I wish you the best. This is Triple Blade saying farewell and best of luck. Wish i could help

  • Wow this was posted on my birthday but off that ! You are beautiful hun dont let anyone bring you down!

  • You're beautiful...I saw someone last week in a restaurant w/vitiligo. It was the first time I actually saw someone up close and personal. She looked so uncomfortable about people staring at her and I felt bad. I wish MJ had spoken up more about it so that other could've been helped but at least people are at least talking about it now and actually BELIEVE that he had it in the first place. Good Luck Kelly... as I said you're a beautiful lady. I hope you find the help you're seeking soon.
