i go down there alot .i dont want to give the spot away but isnt it the first trail as soon as u leave the parking lot. lots of mines.do you know if any of those claims are still running cuase those sighns look anciant. poeple say alot of dredging was done down there i think it was just hardrock mining do you know anyinteresting facts about the west branch feather river share one to another local im from paradise.

Great video dude nice pickers in there. Probably mercury. Take a blow torch and lightly go over it from a far. This will make the mercury evaporate make sure you are up wind.

I don't know 10 or 20 dollers worth id say.. I dont' think its a gram. Maybe a .33 of a gram maybe a little bit more.. Not to bad for a few hrs though.. :)

Nice pickers, Jess! What part of the Feather are you at? I mentioned before my Mom lives in Paradise I might head up there this year. She mentioned Butte creek but I'd like to check out the Feather too. I know a lot of the roads, skyway, etc.

@hixonAu I will try. Its been so hot and with the water so low it makes it tough not to want too hit it again.. Its about a 100 to 200 yard hike and its pretty step.. But i bet the flood gold is everywere..

That's pretty good for that spot. I was planing on doing some sluicing this after noon down there but someone jacked my Keene sluice out of he back of my truck last night when I was at Safeway.
